Commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Esmail Qaani, affirmed on Sunday that Palestine is “a living and steadfast cause that does not change,” noting that it will remain firmly established until victory is achieved.
Qaani said that the Palestinian cause that extends “from the river to the sea has today become more present and more attainable than ever before.”
He added that the expansion of settlements and the crimes of the Zionist enemy represent an attempt to escape the “crisis and deep impasse” facing the occupation on the military, security, political, and social levels.
Qaani stressed that these practices will not be able to conceal the occupation’s “strategic failures” from October 7 until today.
Regarding settlement expansion, “Israel” previously issued a tender for the so-called “E1” settlement project.
The “E1” project is a settlement plan in the area east of Al-Quds that would separate the northern West Bank from its southern part. The plans for the “E1” area include the construction of 3,412 new settlement units, distributed across two separate schemes.
The aforementioned area extends over 12 square kilometers and is considered part of the municipal jurisdiction of the “Ma’ale Adumim” settlement, located to its north and west.
