The Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi congratulated the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation on the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary, saying the mass turnout of Yemenis in public squares to mark the occasion is unmatched anywhere in the world.
Addressing a major gathering in Sana’a, the leader said Yemenis have placed the Prophet’s birth anniversary at the forefront of their annual religious occasions, using it to strengthen their faith, deepen their understanding of the Prophet’s life and reaffirm their commitment to his message.
He said the large celebrations reflect Yemen’s deep religious identity and its longstanding connection to the Prophet, adding that the occasion provides an opportunity for Muslims to reassess their situation and free themselves from forms of dependence that deviate from the divine message.
Sayyed Abdulmalik also affirmed that the Zionist movement and its allies, particularly the United States and the Israeli enemy, are seeking to dominate Muslim nations and plunder their resources.
He called for steadfastness against oppression and aggression, while emphasizing that resistance should remain grounded in justice, moral values and faith.
He further linked the Prophet’s example to the need for strength against those who oppose the divine message, alongside compassion, cooperation and solidarity among its followers.
The Leader's remarks came as millions of Yemenis gathered across Sana’a and other provinces to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary, turning the occasion into a major expression of faith, unity and resilience despite years of blockade and pressure.
The celebrations unfolded amid continued Saudi restrictions on Yemen, while Yemeni leaders portrayed the large public turnout as evidence of the people’s steadfastness and attachment to their religious identity.
The speech linked the occasion to Yemen’s broader positions on Palestine, opposition to the Israeli enemy and resistance to US-Israeli efforts to reshape the region.
