Local sources reported on Friday that an Israeli "quadcopter" drone dropped a bomb toward a group of children filling water containers near Al-Sanafour intersection, east of Gaza City.
According to the sources, the bomb exploded before reaching the children, averting casualties but causing widespread panic and terror among those present.
Quadcopter drones are frequently used for surveillance and targeted strikes across the eastern areas of Gaza City. Previous reports have similarly documented instances of children being targeted while attempting to secure drinking water.
