The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has affirmed that the so-called humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen are yielding to pressure from the Saudi regime and refusing to allow life-saving medicines into the country, particularly anesthetic drugs.

In a statement, the ministry said the existing collusion between the Saudi regime and these organizations raises serious questions about the exploitation and profiteering of the humanitarian issue.

It noted that the Saudi regime has used the humanitarian file as a tool of pressure for 12 years, through entities ostensibly entrusted with humanitarian missions.

The ministry pointed out that such practices expose the scale of violations committed against the Yemeni people by the Saudi regime and its proxies.

It stressed that these criminal acts, among others, confirm that the Yemeni people’s move to break the blockade and reclaim their resources and sovereignty was a necessity.

The ministry further affirmed that Yemen will not be broken by any pressure and will continue its struggle until its legitimate rights are restored.

“The international community must assume its responsibilities in accordance with the international treaties and laws it has invoked for decades,” the ministry said.
