Stations of the Seismological and Volcanological Monitoring and Study Center recorded an earthquake east of the Gulf of Aden, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale.
The Center explained in a statement, a copy of which was obtained, that the earthquake was recorded at 10:36 p.m., at a depth of 10 kilometers.
