The Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development condemned the horrific crime committed by Saudi aggression mercenaries, who targeted a civilian home east of Hays district in Hodeidah Governorate, killing three women and injuring two others.

In a statement, the center said that targeting an inhabited civilian home constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the rules governing the protection of civilians during armed conflicts.

It stressed that such attacks reflect continued disregard for civilian lives and the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of these crimes.

The center warned that the continued targeting of residential areas in Hodeidah is deepening the suffering of civilians, spreading fear and panic among families, and placing their lives and security at risk.

It called on the United Nations, international and human rights organizations, and other bodies responsible for civilian protection to fulfill their legal and humanitarian obligations, condemn such crimes, and ensure accountability for those responsible.

The center renewed its call for an immediate halt to attacks on civilians and civilian objects, respect for international humanitarian law, and full protection for women, children, and all civilians from the effects of hostilities.
