The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that the crime committed by the Saudi enemy on Monday, September 7, 2026, by targeting the Central Prison in the city of Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf Governorate, which resulted in a large number of prison inmates being killed, in addition to a number of visitors, including children and women, was carried out by a Saudi F-15SA warplane.
The spokesperson explained that the aircraft took off at 16:30 from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait and carried out two airstrikes targeting the Central Prison in Al-Hazm, before returning to the same base at 16:45.
He pointed out that these details confirm the responsibility of the Saudi air force for carrying out the two strikes, reiterating that the Saudi enemy’s attempts to evade responsibility for its crimes and aggression against Yemen will not absolve it of the consequences and repercussions resulting from these actions.
The official spokesperson stressed that responsibility for this crime, and for the resulting casualties among prison inmates and visitors, will remain in place regardless of how much the Saudi side attempts to cover up what happened or present narratives denying its responsibility for the targeting.
He affirmed that the continuation of the aggression and the commission of crimes against civilians and civilian facilities will entail consequences, and that attempts to evade or disavow responsibility will not alter the reality of what took place on the ground.
