The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed the Republic of Yemen’s adherence to its position on the Palestinian cause as the central cause of the nation.

In a statement, the Ministry explained that Yemen’s position toward the Palestinian cause remains steadfast, based on religious, moral, principled, and humanitarian grounds, and that Yemen is being targeted today by the Saudi regime as a result of this position.

It said: “The Saudi enemy, no matter how hard it tries to plunge Yemen into problems, will not succeed in diverting its attention from its central cause.”

The Ministry pointed out that Yemen has repeatedly attempted to make clear to the Saudi regime that its ongoing blockade and aggression against the country constitute a service to the Israeli enemy and an attack on the Palestinian cause, but that it has proven to us and to the entire Islamic world that it is carrying out the Zionist agenda in Yemen and the region.

The Ministry called on the Saudi regime to emerge from under the mantle of the American and Israeli regimes, return to the path of sound judgment, unite efforts, and close ranks in support of the Palestinian people and in confronting the Israeli enemy.
