The local authority in Hodeidah Governorate has announced the commencement of executive preparations to implement the directives of President of the Supreme Political Council Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat regarding a general presidential amnesty for those deceived into fighting on the western coast fronts, and to receive those who lay down their arms and return to the national fold.

In a statement issued today, the local authority called on all those deceived into fighting on the western coast fronts to seize the opportunity offered by the presidential amnesty, promptly lay down their arms, leave the fronts operated by the Saudi enemy, and return to their homeland and families. 

It stressed that returning to the right path is the correct national choice, while continuing to serve the enemy’s agenda will only prolong the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The statement praised the presidential decision as a reflection of the leadership’s commitment to preventing further bloodshed and restoring unity, while providing those deceived with an opportunity to reconsider their positions and return to the national fold. 

It affirmed that the local authority would work to implement the presidential directives and take all necessary measures to enforce the amnesty decision in a manner that strengthens security, stability, and social peace.

The local authority also renewed its full support for and backing of the armed forces in carrying out their national duty, confronting the movements and military buildups of the Saudi enemy, and defending the homeland, its sovereignty, security, and independence, with the ultimate goal of liberating the occupied areas.

It hailed the victories achieved by the armed forces and the advances made on various fronts, reaffirming its support for operations aimed at breaking the blockade, alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and thwarting the enemy’s schemes.

The local authority called on the people of Hodeidah Governorate to further close ranks and rally behind the leadership and the armed forces, strengthen national unity in confronting the enemy’s projects and its tools, and foil its plans to prolong the aggression and occupation and tear apart the social fabric.
