Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriate Affairs Abdulwahid Abu Ras affirmed that maritime navigation remains safe.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Abu Ras said, “Maritime navigation is safe, and the security of maritime traffic has no connection to the skirmishes that were brought to an end in the districts of the western coast.”

Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriate Affairs Abdulwahid Abu Ras also confirmed that the skirmishes that took place in the western coastal districts have ended, stressing that the situation is stable and has no bearing on the security of the Red Sea.

The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated that Sanaa remains committed to all its international obligations. He added, however, that the Saudi enemy continues to bomb civilian infrastructure and perpetrate massacres against the Yemeni people, while persisting in its brutal aggression and imposing an unjust siege on the Yemeni people.
