Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree affirmed that Saudi enemy warplanes carried out 64 airstrikes over the past 24 hours targeting the governorates of Taiz, Hodeidah, Marib, and Al-Jawf.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Saree said the Saudi enemy’s air force conducted 64 airstrikes across the four governorates, using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets that took off from King Fahd Air Base in Taif and King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait.
He added that the Yemeni Armed Forces, “by the grace of Allah,” had managed shortly before the statement was issued to confront a combat formation over Taiz Governorate and force it to withdraw, after targeting it with a number of locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles.
Earlier, the Armed Forces spokesman had warned that the ongoing Saudi airstrikes and aggression against Yemen would not go unanswered and would, Allah willing and by His power, be met with a response and punishment. “The aggressor will ultimately suffer the consequences of his own aggression.”
