The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that the death toll among civilians from Saudi aggression and its mercenaries since the escalation began on September 3 through September 10 has reached 82 killed and wounded across six governorates.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that Saudi enemy forces and their mercenaries had targeted the governorates of Al Jawf, Al Hudaydah, Taiz, Saada, Sanaa, and Hajjah.
The attacks killed 44 people, including five children and three women, while 38 others were wounded, including 11 children and five women.
As for the Saudi enemy’s attack on the Central Correctional Facility in Al Jawf Governorate, more than 35 citizens were killed and seven others wounded.
The Ministry of Health stressed that these crimes add to the Saudi enemy’s criminal record against the Yemeni people, noting that Saudi Arabia has continued to kill, besiege, and starve Yemenis for more than 12 years.
During its aggression, it has also targeted prisons and correctional facilities, displacement camps, markets, schools, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure.
The Ministry condemned the international silence and UN complicity over the crimes being committed in Yemen, calling for an end to double standards and the selective enforcement of international law.
The Ministry of Health also called for the Saudi regime to be held accountable for the crimes it has committed against the Yemeni people and for its reinstatement on the list of shame.
