A responsible source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs said that the Republic of Yemen is closely following the 18th BRICS Summit, being held in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the source affirmed Yemen’s support for the group’s statement that the peaceful resolution of international disputes can be achieved through dialogue, consultation, and diplomacy.
The source noted that the statement’s position is consistent with Sana’a’s calls for peace, an end to the aggression against Yemen, and the lifting of the siege imposed on the country.
The source further reaffirmed Yemen’s full readiness to engage in discussions with the BRICS group on all issues of mutual interest.
