Head of the National Negotiating Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam held the Saudi regime responsible for the consequences of its continued violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and its targeting of people and their property.

In a post on the “X” platform, Mohammed Abdulsalam explained that the Saudi regime continues to launch its aggressive airstrikes on Yemen, with more than 350 strikes carried out within a few days, targeting public and private property and resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.

He pointed out that the aggressive military escalation against Yemen will not achieve any objective for the Saudi regime, but will instead lead to further complications of the situation. He said the military option had previously been tried, yielding nothing but failure, and that returning to a failed option reflects an aggressive mentality that does not believe in dialogue or peace.

Regarding the outcome of the latest operation on the western coast, the head of the National Negotiating Delegation affirmed that the situation had been normalized and that state institutions had returned to carry out their functions in serving the people.

He said, “We have not witnessed any manifestations of revenge, which reflects the moral and humanitarian commitment of the Yemeni army. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia continues its approach of blackmailing and intimidating the world under the pretext of risks threatening international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, and inciting it with false data that have no basis in fact, in an attempt to drag some international parties into its futile adventures in Yemen and to try what it has previously tried, the result of which was a failure that was clear for all to see.”

Abdulsalam concluded his post by saying, “It is indeed regrettable that the Saudi regime has fallen into adopting a campaign of fabrications, and we do not believe it is in the interest of international parties to risk their interests based on the lies of the Saudi regime, which it has been addicted to for 12 years and continues to pursue, and which no one believes anymore.”
