Al-Mahrah Governor Al-Qatabi Al-Farji affirmed that the battle being waged by the Yemeni people and the Armed Forces is an existential struggle against the occupying Saudi enemy, stressing that it is not directed against the people of the southern and eastern governorates.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Farji said Saudi Arabia is seeking, through its escalating intervention in Yemen, to impose its tutelage and continue plundering the country’s wealth and resources. He warned that continuing to rely on Saudi Arabia and its proxies would only bring further loss and destruction.

He called on those who have been misled in Al-Mahrah and the southern and eastern governorates to take advantage of the general amnesty and return to the ranks of the nation and its people, stressing the need to reject what he described as misguided bets and conspiratorial schemes targeting Yemen’s security and stability.

Al-Farji also warned that Saudi Arabia is using the people of the southern and eastern governorates as fuel for its wars, urging community leaders and social figures in Al-Mahrah to raise awareness of the risks of being drawn into Saudi mobilization efforts.

He congratulated Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the political leadership, the Armed Forces, and the Yemeni people on the reported battlefield achievements and military operations, saying they demonstrate the Armed Forces’ high level of readiness and capability. He further affirmed the support of the people of Al-Mahrah for all efforts to expel the occupier and liberate every inch of Yemeni territory.
