Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said on Friday that Saudi warplanes had carried out 26 airstrikes on Taiz province over the past 24 hours.

In a statement on Friday, the spokesman added that the total number of airstrikes carried out by the Saudi fighter jets this week has reached 300, using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets that took off from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases.

He added that the strikes targeted the provinces of Taiz, Hajjah, Marib, Jawf, Bayda, Amran, Lahj, Hodeida and Saada.
