The United Nations Human Rights Office has expanded its database of companies linked to activities in Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, adding 61 firms and bringing the total number on the list to 214.

The updated database, released on Friday, includes companies from 11 countries. Five firms were removed from the previous edition, while major corporations including Airbnb, Booking.com, Motorola Solutions, and Tripadvisor remain listed.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said the database serves as a reminder that companies have responsibilities under international human rights standards.

“This report is another reminder to companies that they have human rights responsibilities and are expected to conduct due diligence to ensure that they do not become involved in human rights violations or abuses,” Türk said.
