Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare'e said that the Saudi warplanes carried out 27 airstrikes over the past 24 hours, using F-15 and Typhoon aircraft launched from the Khamis Mushait and Taif bases.

In a statement the Armed Forces stated that the strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, including bridges and roads, in Taiz, Marib, Sa'adah, Amran, Ibb, and Hajjah governorates.

The Armed Forces stressed that the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation began has reached 1,059.

The latest figures come amid an ongoing escalation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, with Yemeni Armed Forces reporting continued air and missile attacks on several provinces and casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
