Head of the Political Bureau of the Hamas Movement, Khalil Al-Hayya, extended his greetings to Palestinian journalists and media workers, praising their role in carrying the truth to the world despite the intimidation and Israeli targeting they have been subjected to, and the sacrifices they have made while covering events and conveying the suffering of the Palestinian people.

In a press statement today, Saturday, Al-Hayya said that journalists and workers in media institutions “carried the truth to the world,” recalling the martyrs and wounded of the journalistic profession and praising their sacrifices in conveying events through both image and word.

He added that Palestinian journalists were “the voice of our people and witnesses to the crimes of the enemy against it,” stressing the commitment to continuing to convey the truth and keeping the Palestinian cause present in the media scene, despite the difficult circumstances under which journalists and media institutions operate.

Al-Hayya recalled the victims among media workers, including martyrs and wounded, pointing to the role played by journalists in documenting events and conveying them to the world amid Zionist intimidation and targeting.

He affirmed that continuing journalistic work and conveying the truth constitute an essential part of the Palestinian presence in the media, at a time when journalists continue to carry out their duties amid extremely difficult circumstances and ongoing risks.

Al-Hayya stressed the importance of continuing to convey the truth and keeping the Palestinian cause present in the media, in recognition of the sacrifices of journalists who continued their work in the field and conveyed events through both image and word despite the targeting.
