Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that the recent statements made by the criminal Donald Trump in New York have, to some extent, changed the nature of Iran’s thinking and the way it responds, stressing that Iran has throughout all the meetings and talks it has held, been keen to highlight its victimization and the crimes committed by America and the Zionists.
Pezeshkian explained that America is responsible for directing most terrorist operations around the world and training terrorists, pointing out that the sanctions imposed by Washington, which directly target the Iranian people, constitute terrorism in its very essence, requiring solidarity and cooperation among Islamic countries to confront it.
Regarding the diplomatic track, the Iranian president noted that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is in America, where he is holding continuous meetings and conducting talks, while at the same time pointing to America’s failure to honor its commitments, saying: “They do not abide by what they have written or what they have said, and every day they say something new.”
Pezeshkian stressed that Tehran is conducting these talks so that the world does not think it fears dialogue, and to prove that the Americans and the “Israelis” are responsible for the instability in the region.
He also explained that there are attempts to fuel divisions inside Iran, adding that, had there been a genuine dispute, the cohesion and unity that exist today would not have been achieved.
The Iranian president concluded his remarks by stressing the pursuit of every effort to serve the Iranian people and work for the advancement of the country, explaining that Tehran will find the means necessary to resolve internal problems and thwart all schemes directed against it.
