Former Israeli military intelligence officer Barak Seri has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately obstructing the establishment of an official commission of inquiry into the events of October 7, 2023, amid renewed reports that warnings about a possible operation had allegedly reached the Israeli leadership beforehand.
“Netanyahu is doing everything” to prevent the establishment of an official commission of inquiry, Seri said in a post on X on Saturday.
According to Seri, Netanyahu was “warned and alerted” before the October 7 events but “ignored it all.”
“This is why Netanyahu is personally blocking the establishment of an inquiry commission,” he added. "He was arrogant, complacent, conceited."
