Official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, affirmed that the total number of those killed and wounded as a result of Saudi enemy airstrikes since September 3 has risen to 174.

Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi explained that the total number of those killed as a result of the Saudi aggression airstrikes has risen to 67, while the number of wounded during the same period reached 107, most of them women and children.

Al-Asbahi strongly condemned the brutal massacres that the Saudi enemy continues to commit against the Yemeni people through its repeated targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, including bridges, buildings and popular markets. The latest of these came, Sunday, when Saudi aggression aircraft launched direct airstrikes on a commercial market—the Economic Corporation Market at Mawiyah Junction in Al-Ta'iziyah District—in Taiz Governorate, resulting in seven killed and 40 wounded, according to an initial toll.

He affirmed that these massacres reveal the true destructive intentions of the Saudi regime toward Yemen, its land and its people, adding that this crime constitutes a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and adds to the record of criminal aggression against the Yemeni people.

Meanwhile, Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree affirmed yesterday that the total number of Saudi aggression airstrikes since the beginning of the escalation had reached 1,059 airstrikes and missile strikes.
