Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdul-Wahid Abu Ras sent a message to Sayyid Ammar Al-Moussawi, head of the Arab and International Relations Office of Hezbollah, on the occasion of the annual anniversary of the martyr of Islam and humanity, His Eminence Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and his martyred companion, Sayyid Al-Hashemi.

The Deputy Foreign Minister explained in the message that the martyred leaders devoted their lives to Jihad in the cause of Allah, confronting the criminal occupying Zionist entity, and championing the just causes of the Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He noted that the Islamic nation lost, with the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, a great leader whose fragrant memory will remain engraved in the memory of generations. He affirmed that the cowardly policy of assassinations pursued by the Zionist entity will only increase the Resistance’s steadfastness and resilience and its adherence to legitimate rights.

Abu Ras renewed his affirmation that the Yemeni people will not forget the positions of the martyr of Islam and humanity, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, in support of Yemen and of the Yemeni people’s grievance, and that these positions will remain firmly rooted in the hearts and minds of the people of Yemen.

He noted that Hezbollah, despite the enormity of the sacrifices, remains steadfast and capable of continuing its path until the promised victory is achieved, affirming that the pure blood of the martyrs is bearing fruit today in victory across the arenas of Jihad and resistance.

The Deputy Foreign Minister stated that the nation, in its Jihad today and its confrontation with the forces of tyranny, draws from the legacy of the supreme martyr and his comrades in Hezbollah fuel for steadfastness, resilience and the achievement of victories.

He said: “We affirm to the martyr of Islam and humanity, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, and our brothers in Hezbollah that the saying, ‘The era of defeats has passed and the era of victories has come,’ is being fulfilled by Allah's Grace and through their sacrifices.”

The Deputy Foreign Minister concluded his message by renewing his affirmation of the steadfast position of the Republic of Yemen in support of the Lebanese people and their valiant Resistance in confronting the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon.
