Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, sent a letter today, Monday, to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and President of the Security Council Jérôme Bonnafont, against the backdrop of the threats issued by US President, criminal Donald Trump.

Iravani said that Trump’s “brazen and repulsive claims” are not merely “political bluster,” but constitute threats that violate international law and the United Nations Charter.

This comes after Trump’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly last Tuesday, in which he said that he faced a “major decision” regarding Iran, between reaching a major agreement with it or what he described as the “annihilation” of the Islamic Republic, in his words.
