Government spokesperson Dr. Omar Al-Bakhiti said, “The criminal Saudi enemy is once again fabricating false and baseless accusations against the Yemeni people, in a blatant exploitation of Islamic holy sites.”

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Dr. Al-Bakhiti said that the criminal Saudi enemy’s claims that a power station in Medina had been targeted are completely unfounded, describing them as yet another falsehood directed against the Muslim Yemeni people. He said the enemy bears full responsibility for all consequences that may follow.

He pointed out that, after failing to fabricate the lie that Mecca had been targeted, the Saudi enemy has now resorted to a new falsehood—one that, he said, will fail just as its predecessor did, with God’s help and through the awareness of Muslim peoples.

The government spokesperson stressed that the Saudi enemy has no option but to halt its aggression against Yemen and lift its blockade, adding that no lie in the world can absolve it from meeting the Yemeni people’s legitimate and just demands.
