The Al-Haq Party condemned the falsehoods and lies of the Saudi enemy against Yemenis over the alleged targeting of Medina, after it had previously promoted its fabrications regarding the targeting of Mecca by unmanned aircraft.

In a statement, the party noted that the Saudi enemy continues to repeat its lies without shame, despite Leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi affirming that Mecca is a prominent Islamic landmark that Yemenis protect with their lives, and that whoever tells lies about Mecca is undoubtedly insulting it. The same values and principles, the statement stressed, apply to Medina, which is home to the Noble Prophet’s Mosque.

The statement affirmed that dragging Islamic holy sites into the matter and falsely and deceitfully claiming that they have been targeted is unbecoming of any entity or regime that claims Arab and Islamic identity. It can never serve as a cover for any massacres it seeks to commit in Yemen, nor does it exempt it from bearing the consequences and repercussions of its aggression and siege, which have continued for 12 years.

It further affirmed that targeting electricity, water, telecommunications, infrastructure, markets, mosques, and schools is what Saudi Arabia and those allied with it have consistently carried out. By escalating today with the targeting of Sana’a, it is becoming further entangled in the quagmire, sands, and mountains of Yemen, which are capable of bringing down Saudi arrogance and haughtiness, just as they fell in Mokha and across the western coast in general.

The party renewed its affirmation that all components of the Yemeni people stand behind the armed forces in responding to Saudi fabrications and the airstrikes it is carrying out against a number of Yemeni provinces, most recently Sana’a.

The party called on the entities and states that Saudi Arabia is seeking to drag into Yemen to exercise caution and spare their peoples and resources the consequences of intervention against Yemen in service of the Zionist and American agenda, as such intervention will be a losing venture and will drag the tails of defeat, by Allah's help and through the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and its heroic mujahideen.
