The Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rodion Miroshnik, confirmed that Ukraine is "a structure entirely subject to external control, where 90% of the ongoing operations within it are funded by the West."
Miroshnik told Sputnik: "Ukraine is a structure under complete external control; it is a quasi-state formation."
He pointed to the recent statement by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal , noting that the cost of the war amounts to $155 billion, which is "equivalent to three-quarters or four-fifths of Ukraine's gross domestic product, meaning it is completely incapable of bearing such a cost," emphasizing that "90% of these costs are funded from abroad."
He added that whoever pays for this entire situation is the one controlling the actual operations being carried out in Ukraine.
