Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Armed Forces, confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces had confronted two Saudi fighter formations in the skies over Taiz Governorate.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Saree said that, with the help of Almighty God, the Armed Forces had confronted two Saudi F-15 fighter formations moments earlier over Taiz Governorate, forcing them to leave the area.
He added that the operation was carried out using a number of locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles.
