The Saudi enemy committed a new massacre against the people of Hajjah province on Tuesday morning, targeting the village of Umm Al-Dahi in Haradh district, resulting in the martyrdom of six members of one family and the critical injury of a child.

Almasirah's correspondent in Hajjah reported that the aggression directly targeted the home of a citizen and his family in Umm Al-Dahi village, leading to the martyrdom of the father, mother, and four of their children, aged between 3 and 8 years. A six-year-old girl was also injured with varying degrees of severity.

He confirmed that the bodies of the martyred family members are still under the rubble of the destroyed home, amid ongoing efforts by relevant authorities and citizens to recover the victims and provide first aid to the injured girl. This is taking place under difficult field conditions due to continued bombardment and the destruction of infrastructure and residential homes in the area.

The massacre in Haradh district is the latest in a series of Saudi attacks on civilians in Hajjah province, which has been heavily affected by the 12-year of Saudi aggression. The targeting of a family home, resulting in the martyrdom of parents and four children, constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits targeting civilians and civilian objects.

The killing of an entire family—parents and four children aged 3 to 8—represents one of the most horrific crimes committed recently by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen. The targeting of children in their home, while sleeping or going about their daily lives, underscores the indiscriminate nature of Saudi airstrikes and artillery shelling on civilian areas.

The fact that the bodies remain under the rubble highlights the challenges facing rescue teams and the scale of destruction caused by the attack. The continued bombardment and destruction of infrastructure in the area are hampering recovery efforts and exacerbating the suffering of the local population.
