Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare'e announced that Yemeni forces had shot down a Saudi-operated CH-4 armed reconnaissance drone over Al-Jawf Province.
In a statement early Wednesday, Sare'e said the drone was downed while carrying out hostile missions over the province, adding that it was targeted with a suitable weapon.
The operation came less than 48 hours after Yemeni forces announced the downing of a Wing Loong drone, according to the statement.
