The Armed Forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile on Monday.
In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces confirmed that, with Allah's grace and assistance, the Armed Forces had successfully targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi enemy’s capital, Riyadh, on Monday evening with a ballistic missile, achieving a precise hit.
The Armed Forces renewed their warning to all international airlines, as well as experts, employees, workers, and travelers from around the world, against the risks of operating flights to Saudi airports, declaring them unsafe, with the exception of the airports and airspace of the holy regions in Mecca and Medina.
The Armed Forces spokesperson added that the Armed Forces had carried out another military operation targeting Khamis Mushait Air Base with a drone, achieving a direct hit, by Allah's grace.
Earlier, Reuters and Agence France-Presse confirmed that explosions had been heard in Riyadh on Monday evening.
It is worth noting that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has remained closed since Sunday following several Yemeni military operations involving ballistic and cruise missiles that struck the airport directly. Reuters also reported that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh would remain closed until October 17.
