The Yemeni Armed Forces Warn Public to Stay Away from Saudi Aramco Facilities and Airports
The Yemeni Armed Forces on Tuesday warned all citizens and employees to stay away from Saudi Aramco facilities and airports across Saudi Arabia.
In a post on his Telegram channel, Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said: “The Yemeni Armed Forces warn the Saudi enemy that any attacks on the capital, Sanaa, will be met with a harsh and painful response in Riyadh, the capital of the Saudi enemy.”
The Yemeni Armed Forces also urged all employees and civilians near any facility belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco to evacuate the area and keep their distance, declaring such facilities legitimate targets for its forces.
In a separate statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces renewed their warning to experts, engineers, workers, and all other personnel at Saudi oil facilities to stay away from locations considered targets by their forces, whether previously targeted or not, in order to avoid putting their lives at risk.
They also reiterated their earlier warning to aviation companies, passengers, and personnel operating in the previously identified airspace and airports.
The measures come in response to a threat issued by a spokesperson for the Saudi enemy, who said that Saudi warplanes would target the Yemen Petroleum Company facility in the Al-Sabaha area of the capital, Sanaa.
