Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Saudi enemy continues to commit daily crimes against civilians in Yemen, most recently an attack on a home in Al-Tawila area, Sahar district, Sa’adah province, which killed 10 people and wounded 23 others, mostly women and children, according to preliminary figures.

In a statement, the ministry reminded the international community that the perpetrator of Sunday’s massacre was the same party that declared the entire city of Sa’adah a military target in May 2015.

It added that similar crimes committed elsewhere in the world would trigger widespread international condemnation, but said Saudi financial influence had bought international silence, with political and economic interests taking precedence over humanitarian principles and international law.

The attack comes amid a renewed escalation of Saudi military operations against Yemen, with civilian homes and infrastructure among the reported targets.

Yemen’s Foreign Ministry said the ongoing attacks and blockade, imposed for nearly 12 years, would not force Yemen to abandon its legitimate rights, vowing to continue efforts to compel the Saudi enemy to end its military campaign and lift the blockade.
