Taiz Governor Judge Ahmed Al-Masawi announced that, with the help and guidance of Almighty Allah, the Yemeni Armed Forces had succeeded in expelling Saudi military buildups, securing and opening all roads in the governorate, in response to appeals from the sheikhs, notables, and dignitaries of Taiz, and with the cooperation of all free and honorable people across the various districts.

In his statement, the governor explained that this step comes after Saudi news outlets and the websites of its affiliated mercenaries officially announced on October 2 the closure of those roads to citizens.

The statement affirmed that, of the nineteen roads that the Saudi enemy and its military buildups had announced they were closing, only the (Al-Qasr–Al-Kamb–Al-Madinah) road remains completely closed by their side. It expressed hope that they would heed the voice of reason and take the initiative to reopen it in the service of civilian citizens in the coming hours.

It also pointed out that the second road, (Hayfan–Tur Al-Bahah) and (Al-Qubaytah–Tur Al-Bahah), had been partially opened today during daylight hours. The statement expressed hope that it would remain open in the coming days throughout both day and night, allowing citizens to pass through and meet their needs.

The statement asked: “Will the Saudi enemy and its military buildups learn from the disastrous consequences of challenging the will of the people and disrupting the interests and needs of society?” It added: “This is Taiz and its authentic Yemeni society. Dealing with them with a mindset of siege and restricting public life is a form of madness and a suicidal course of action whose consequences are unmistakably clear.”

The statement affirmed that eleven districts, along with all roads leading to and from them, had been liberated from the Saudi enemy’s military buildups along the routes. As soon as the enemy announced their closure, free men joined the heroes of the Yemeni Armed Forces, opened the roads, secured the land and its people, and expelled the Saudi military buildups. Praise be to Allah for His grace and guidance, and the ultimate victory belongs to whom fear Allah.
