Monday, 15th Ramadan, 1445 A.H. (25th March 2024 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
May Allah (Glory be to Him) accept our fasting, nights of worship, and good deeds.
At the forefront of this prominent aspect (the aspect of steadfastness) are those who mobilized from the sons of our dear people, from all various segments of society, to the frontlines to confront the aggression that started against our beloved country. They moved with utmost seriousness, sincerity, devotion, bravery, and steadfastness. They came from the military and from all categories of our people: from scholarly figures, from universities, from school students, from farmers, from cities, from villages, and from all walks of life. They moved to confront the aggression with sincerity, devotion, steadfastness, and bravery, and behind them were their families who displayed patience.
Within the framework of that extensive and comprehensive move to confront the aggression against our country, thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives after they wrote epics of heroism, sacrifice, and devotion that will remain in history and serve as a school for future generations. Tens of thousands were also wounded, and thousands were held captives, enduring immense suffering under the captivity of the aggression coalition. Many were the hardships and sacrifices. So at the forefront of this prominent aspect (the aspect of steadfastness) are those who mobilized and are currently stationed on all fronts of the battle. They remain constantly vigilant and display enduring patience in the face of all hardships. They stand ready in their positions day and night, exerting their efforts to prevent any breach or advance by the enemies who seek to regain control over our country.
This title is also manifested in the honourable role played by all those who have sensed their responsibility and taken action in various fields: in the humanitarian and relief field, in the economic field, on the mobilization fronts, in the educational and awareness-raising fields that seek to maintain the cohesion of the internal front, in the political field—in all fields. They have mobilized to confront the enemies and their conspiracies that targeted all fields. Within the title of steadfastness, general cohesion and patience emerge, which have been the prominent feature of our society as a whole, as well as the state institution employees, especially in the face of the oppressive and suffocating blockade.
From its very first moment, the aggression on our country came as a surprising, unexpected, and unprovoked aggression without justifications. It is a brutal and criminal aggression carried out to achieve dangerous objectives, under American supervision, and within the framework of an American-Israeli-British plan executed by the coalition.
The aggression on our country came within the framework of a comprehensive plan to reorganize the region under the leadership of the Israeli enemy, to put an end to the Palestinian cause, and to eliminate any entities supporting the Palestinian cause. The goal, as we mentioned, is to empower the Israeli enemy to lead the region and rearrange its situation accordingly. This has become evident in recent years, whether in relation to normalization programmes or 'the Deal of the Century'.
The aggression on our country has no legitimacy, nor legitimate goals, nor legitimate practices. It is an aggression in every sense of the word. Some of the banners raised by the coalition at the beginning of the aggression, such as 'the Arab embrace', have been exposed as completely baseless. In fact, it has become clear that efforts were made to bring the entire region and the entire Arab world into the Hebrew embrace, not the Arab one. Similarly, other banners such as 'Arab national security' have all been exposed with the normalization scandal and with the ongoing aggression on Gaza, too.
Since the beginning, the aggression coalition, under American supervision, has sought to destroy our country, occupy it, and seize the rights of our people to freedom and independence. Even in its first airstrikes, it targeted civilians and committed crimes. The targeting was comprehensive, aiming to destroy all aspects of life. The focus on killing the Yemeni people everywhere was clear. The coalition's airstrikes were killing people in their homes, whether in cities or villages. Even the tents of Bedouin were not spared from being targeted. They killed people in all their gatherings, whether celebrations, weddings, mourning gatherings, or funeral events. In various events where people gathered, the aggression airstrikes targeted them, and many tragedies occurred, which were documented and reported in the media.
There has been a focus on killing the Yemeni people in markets, hospitals, mosques, schools, everywhere, including roads. Also, as we mentioned, all aspects of life has been targeted: homes, mosques, schools, hospitals, historical landmarks, cemeteries, roads, bridges, and all types of service facilities, such as water tanks and sewage networks, among others. The targeting clearly reveals a comprehensive aggression that aims to destroy the country and target our dear people. Even centres for the visually impaired have been targeted, and the Yemeni people have also been subjected to blockade, starvation, and conspiracies against the national currency, the central bank, and more.
The number of airstrikes reached—it is not an exact and comprehensive count, as it started at a specific period and much has been missed—according to what has been counted only, 274,302 airstrikes. two hundred thousand airstrikes is not a small number. How many bombs and missiles were dropped in them? On whom?! on the Yemeni people, to kill them and to destroy their infrastructure. This number (274,302 airstrikes) is not even a complete tally!
When we observe the magnitude of what the aggression coalition targeted in our country, the nature of this aggression becomes clear to everyone. It is a criminal and brutal nature that pursuits evil objectives.
As for the targeting of mosques, the number of mosques destroyed by the aggression reached 1,843. This is a very large number despite the sanctity of mosques as they are Allah's houses, and we all know their sanctity in Islam. Nevertheless, the coalition of aggression targeted them, whether in the depths of cities and villages or in various regions and provinces: Indeed, they were targeted by airstrikes.
tourist facilities reached 393; hospitals and health facilities, which the coalition of aggression focused on targeting, reached 427. Hospitals are few in our country to begin with, and the health service in our country has been and is still weak and limited. However, the coalition of aggression targeted them, destroying them and killing medical staff and patients.
As for schools and educational centres 1,331 schools and educational centres were targeted. In what context can this be justified? All the banners raised by the aggression coalition are ridiculous in comparison to what it has done and to the reality of its actions and programme. This is a programme of destruction for the country (destruction of all resources, all potential, all facilities, and all services), an aggressive approach and criminal behaviour in every sense of the word.
In regards to sports facilities, they were not spared either. sports facilities reached 146 sports facilities. As for archaeological sites, 269 archaeological sites were targeted. We were surprised by the targeting of even archaeological sites and landmarks and the attempts to destroy them through airstrikes. Why is that?!
In regards to media facilities, 63 media facilities were targeted. As for agricultural fields, over twelve thousand (12,775) agricultural fields were targeted. The aggression coalition targeted farms with bombs to destroy them and disrupt agriculture, as part of the targeting of all signs and necessities of life, including the agricultural sector.
In terms of infrastructure, airports were targeted (fifteen airports), despite the fact that our country's infrastructure was still weak. Nevertheless, whatever was there was targeted, so fifteen airports were targeted, including Sana'a Airport, which was constantly targeted with airstrikes. Sixteen sea ports were also targeted.
As for power stations and generators, despite the fact that they were limited in our country, 354 of them were targeted. As for roads and bridges, 7,940 roads and bridges were targeted by the coalition of aggression, resulting in the deaths of many citizens. Trucks, transportation means, and people were also targeted on those bridges and in those roads. communication networks and stations reached 647.
water tanks and water networks reached 3,332. This clearly demonstrates the hostility of the aggression coalition and its malicious objectives. Why does it target water networks and tanks? It targeted them to inflict suffering on the citizens, even in drinking and getting access to water.
As for government facilities, which are infrastructure that benefit the country, were heavily targeted, as 2,155 government facilities .
Furthermore, regarding the economic aspect, it attempted to heavily target factories, resulting in the destruction and targeting of 417 factories. fuel tankers reached 397; commercial establishments, over twelve thousand (12,534); poultry and livestock farms, 484; transportation vehicles, over 10,000; food trucks, over 1,000; markets, 712 markets were targeted, resulting in mass killings, killing people, and targeting people's livelihoods, as well as economic targeting; fishing boats, 493. Fishermen were among the most suffering people, with many being martyred in the sea. As for food warehouses, more than one thousand (1,043) , adding to the plight and starvation of the Yemeni people and targeting their economy and food. fuel stations reached 434.
We find that the targeting included all the signs and necessities of life, and such actions can only be described as aggression. It cannot be justified or labeled according to the banners raised by the coalition to justify or legitimize its aggression. It killed the Yemeni people and destroyed everything: destroying universities, mosques, schools, and hospitals and killing people everywhere. Furthermore, it waves such banners with the intention to deceive the Yemeni people. Can such deception fool the Yemeni people?!
This resulted in the martyrdom and injury of over fifty thousand civilians, apart from the field martyrs on the frontlines. These are civilians, and most of them were children and women—large numbers of them. Numerous heinous crimes were highlighted at the time and were reported by the media, gaining global recognition and reaching the ears of various countries. Throughout the past stages, there have been countless horrific crimes that have shocked the conscience of humanity, involving the killing of children and women, as well as the mass killings of the Yemeni people during their special events and their gatherings.
All of that was in addition to the immense suffering from the blockade and starvation, which was an aggression that paralleled the military aggression. There was starvation, blockade, a tremendous amount of suffering, and systematic targeting to the economy: targeting the national currency and the central bank, taking control over national wealth related to oil and gas, imposing control over ports, hindering the movement and mobility of people, preventing people from traveling through airports, and closing airports. The Yemeni people endured a significant, comprehensive blockade and tremendous suffering.
In the face of that aggressive, criminal, brutal targeting, our dear people have shown steadfastness, patience, firmness, and unity. This unity at the official level, the popular level, and within the internal front was honourable and played a significant role in the failure of the aggression coalition. Despite the scale of the aggression, the crimes, and the extensive destruction, the coalition could not break the will of this people. Our dear people's patience, steadfastness, and firmness (despite starvation and suffering) is a great blessing and a manifestation of divine grace. Nonetheless, our people continue to endure immense suffering as a result of this aggression.
Our dear people have mobilized, and their men and heroes have risen to confront the aggression in all fields. in regards to the frontlines, in defending against the ground invasion, through which the coalition of aggression aimed to fully occupy our country, as it launched military operations with specific titles and names in an attempt to reach Sana'a and invade all other provinces. In fact, it conducted large-scale operations, prepared for them, presented some specific titles, and provided significant, immense media and political coverage. However, with Allah's grace and as Allah granted success to our people to be in a state of steadfastness and resilience, the coalition of aggression failed to fully occupy this country. It gained control over a vast area of the country, including its sovereign, oil, and gas wealth. It also gained control over many ports, a wide coastal area in the southern provinces, parts of other provinces, part of Bab Al-Mandeb, etc. However, it failed to occupy the geographical and strategic depth of our country. The densely populated provinces remained in confrontation, resistance, Jihad, and firmness. This is of great importance to the entire country, and it is a great blessing (thanks to Allah).
- In terms of the overall human losses suffered by the enemy, the number of killed and injured from their military formations—for they are various formations, which include their direct participating armies and mercenaries recruited from different outskirts, regions, and countries, a significant portion of them unfortunately from our own country, those who betrayed their homeland, fought against their people, and exerted all efforts to enable the foreign occupier to occupy their country. Their human losses reached a total of 282,879 killed and injured, indicating significant losses incurred across their fighting formations.
- Their losses in vehicles and equipment amounted to 18,397, which also represents significant losses in military vehicles and equipment.
- In terms of air defence operations, the coalition of aggression heavily relied on air power and airstrikes and the use of aerial bombardment as part of its aggression against the Yemeni people. The air defence operations resulted in shooting down 165 warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft, with a total of 4,585 air defence operations carried out.
- The naval and coastal defence operations amounted to 38 operations, which played a crucial role in deterring the enemy. Among the notable operations were the targeting of the frigate Al-Madina and the warship Swift and capturing the ship Rabigh.
- Regarding missile and air operations, they played a significant role in countering the aggression, whether in the frontlines where the majority of operations were carried out in targeting the military gatherings and camps of the enemy or elsewhere as some operations extended beyond the borders. The total number of missile operations reached 1,828, with 1,237 operations targeting military and combat targets, and 589 operations conducted against targets beyond the borders.
- Regarding the operations of armed unmanned aerial vehicles, the number of these operations reached 12,009 offensive and reconnaissance operations, with the majority of them carried out as part of combat missions, both defensive and offensive. Out of these operations, 997 operations were carried out against targets beyond the borders.
- As for the support operations for the ground forces, they amounted to 211,136 operations, including sniper operations, artillery targeting, anti-armor operations, and engineering operations.
This extensive and highly significant movement played a crucial role in the failure and defeat of the aggression coalition's goal to fully occupy our country, exert complete control over our people, and deprive them of their right to freedom and independence.
Moreover, it has been very clear that the enemy failed in destroying our military capabilities. In fact, the result has been completely the opposite. Since the beginning of the aggression, our dear brothers in the armed forces focused on developing missile capabilities, unmanned aerial vehicles, and air defence and naval capabilities, in various fields necessary for weapon manufacturing. That is because the enemies from the very beginning have sought to deprive our country of acquiring weapons. Part of the blockade imposed on our dear people focused on preventing the importation of the weapons they needed, considering it a heinous crime to manage to obtain a shipment of weapons, even basic ones like Kalashnikov rifles. When the enemy took hold of a shipment of weapons, they considered it a significant achievement and used it as evidence to claim that our dear people committed the most atrocious, most heinous crimes simply because they wanted to get weapons to defend themselves, their land, their independence, and their freedom! In contrast, all types of weapons, including internationally prohibited ones, were reaching the aggression coalition and made available for them to purchase. Indeed, among the reasons for the aggression was to benefit from some regional countries like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in purchasing American military products and weapons, allowing the Americans—among their objectives in carrying out the aggression—to achieve enormous financial gains. These deals were hailed as the biggest of the era and were dubbed 'the Deal of the Century', just as there was another 'Deal of the Century' being promoted to seize Palestine in the other direction. There were indeed weapon deals that deserved to be called 'the Deal of the Century', involving highly-costing weapons, aimed at killing the Yemeni people and destroying Yemen. These deals included bombs, missiles, and a lot of tons of explosives intended to be used in devastating Yemen and killing and targeting its people.
Actually, the path that was followed in terms of weapon manufacturing, including missiles and various other military capabilities, started from scratch and went through very basic stages. By the grace of Allah and through the success He grants, this path developed in all types of weapons that our brothers in the armed forces have turned to manufacturing in: at the level of artillery, sniper rifles, artillery shells, missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as some products related to weapons and warfare equipment belonging to naval weaponry, air defence, and other fields. This has been a successful ascending path, despite the blockade and extremely challenging economic conditions. Thanks to Allah, significant achievements were accomplished and announced, and some of them were showcased in dedicated exhibitions, witnessed by the people and also seen on the battlefield, in the field of Jihad, inflicting defeat on the enemy in reality. Praise is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
The enemy has tried to exert significant pressure on our dear people through the economic situation, blockade, and depriving them of their oil, gas, and sovereign wealth, which was previously vital for paying salaries and providing some services. However, our people continued to resist and remain steadfast, never surrendering or weakening.
Enhancing military capabilities has been and continues to be an extremely important and fundamental requirement in seeking victory, defeating the aggression, liberating the territories occupied by the coalition of aggression, and achieving the ultimate goal of our dear people: to fully enjoy complete freedom and full independence, as this is a well-deserved and legitimate right for our dear people. It is necessary for the rest of the countries to reassess their misguided calculations and aggressive policies towards our country because the issue others have with our dear people is not that they pose a threat to their regional Arab or Islamic surroundings. Our dear people are at the forefront of nations in their keenness and care for Arab national security, the security of our entire Islamic Ummah, and the prevalence of security, stability, brotherhood, and positive relationships (within the Arab world in particular and all Islamic countries as a whole) that are based on the fact that we are one ummah that follows the same religion, has the same interests, and faces the same risks and challenges. Therefore, no Arab country has any justification to adopt hostile policies against our dear people, based on the misconception or imagination that there is a threat to it from Yemen or from the Yemeni people.
All Arab peoples and the Muslim world should look at the Yemeni people as a people who embody true brotherhood. They are the supporter of the entire Ummah, all Muslims. What exists in Yemen at the ideological, intellectual, cultural, and directional levels is all within this context: a people who care about their entire Ummah, aspiring for it to be a respected, strong, united, and cooperative ummah. Our enemy is clear. From the very beginning, we have been saying that our enemy is the enemy of the entire Ummah—the Israeli enemy, which poses a real danger to all Muslims, especially Arabs, as it has targeted them before anyone else. One of the worst, most despicable, and ugliest forms of deception is portraying the Israeli enemy as a friend of the Arabs and depicting Iran as an enemy. This is what the Israelis have been working on since the beginning, along with the Americans.
Since the beginning, the Americans and Israelis have tried to deceive and mislead Arabs with this narrative: Iran is an enemy and Israel is a friend. However, it is the Israeli enemy which has targeted Arabs before anyone else: It has targeted Palestine, which is an Arab Islamic land, before targeting any other Muslim country. It has killed Arabs before others and targeted Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. It has occupied wide parts of the Arab world. Even the Israeli plan—the major Israeli illusion regarding 'Greater Israel'—completely focuses on the Arab region and Arab countries.
The Israeli enmity towards Arabs is well-known, clear, explicit, and evident, even in their culture, schools, curricula, books, heritage, and policies—in everything. When some people have ignored these clear truths and still ignoring them, when the normalization project came, ignoring all these facts and considerations, and when the trend has shifted towards igniting wars here and there, targeting this people here and that country there, and spreading turmoil from one country to another, this has led to a great tragedy for our Ummah. When countries, governments, and regimes directed all their energies and capabilities to serve American policies, which are hostile to our entire Islamic Ummah, to all our countries with no exception, this has become a real problem and a catastrophe in the reality of our Ummah. Therefore, it is one of the greatest ordeals and an evident loss for the Ummah that some Arab countries employ their capabilities and capacities and make every effort to serve American and Israeli conspiracies, despite the fact that both the Americans and Israelis are two faces of the same coin and neither of them desires good for our Ummah or any people, even those who turn to normalization with them. Indeed, they want to exploit and utilize their capabilities and capacities only for their own benefit, and there is no interest for any country in serving them.
Unfortunately, America continues its policy of pushing some Arab regimes into this direction (the internal hostile direction of causing turmoil within the Ummah and igniting problems and conflicts within the Ummah) using their money: Arab funds and wealth. It continues to orchestrate conspiracies in which takfiri groups are mobilized, these same groups that have been exposed during the Israeli aggression on Gaza. They had no genuine stance whatsoever, not even issuing fatwas for supporting the Palestinian people. The matter does not even require or need fatwas, as it is very clear, but they have taken no action at all. This is a sufficient scandal for them in the eyes of our peoples.
Therefore, we affirm that the aggression against our country is an aggression under American supervision, with American, British, and Israeli planning. It comes within the context of a scheme to target the region as a whole and change the situation. The main objective behind this is to put an end to the Palestinian cause and allow Israel to lead the region. In other words, the rest of the regimes and countries would normalize with it, and it would lead the region and then use this as a means to enhance its extensive control in the Arab world in general. To the Israeli enemy, normalization is a means to consolidate and enhance its control and influence over the entire Arab world. It is not about seeking peace with Arab countries as much as it is about strengthening control, dominance, and influence over them.
After all these stages, after nine years of aggression on our country, and as many truths have become clear during these years, we want to make it clear to everyone that we are very keen on understanding, peace, brotherhood, and positivity in relations with all Arab and Islamic countries. We do not harbour any hostile intentions towards any Arab state, nor any Arab or Islamic country. Our current position is a clear and direct confrontation between us and the evil trio: America, Israel, and Britain.
In the current stage and in the face of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, our country has taken an honourable position, the position that should be taken by all people of the Ummah, standing alongside the Palestinian people and fully supporting them. Militarily, our operations continue. The same is true at all levels. There is an extensive popular mobilization, as well as intense activities in all fields. Our media is directing all its energy and capability to support the Palestinian people. This is the direction we adopted at all levels, and this is our cause. From the beginning, this is the direction we have followed: to prioritize the major causes of our Ummah, first and foremost the Palestinian cause, which is forsaken by many Arabs.
In the current situation, the position and direction our dear people have taken are clear, so there is no justification for the Saudis or the Emiratis to continue in their current path, which involves clear procrastination regarding the requirements of peace. If they truly seek peace, which is the actual and genuine interest for all, they should move from the stage of de-escalation to the requirements of peace and take serious steps according to a clear agreement that includes what we have emphasized and what has been discussed and negotiated throughout all previous stages. This agreement should lead to a complete end to the blockade, aggression, and occupation, as well as the exchange of captives, and it should ultimately end the problem. This is for the benefit of all and is the true interest of everyone.
Throughout all the previous stages, we have consistently emphasized that the requirements of peace are clear. These requirements include:
- ending the blockade,
- ending the aggression.
- ending the occupation,
- the exchange of captives, and
- compensation for damages.
These are clear and explicit requirements, legitimate demands for our dear people, and fair demands, too. Therefore, we advise the coalition of aggression to move from the stage of de-escalation to a clear agreement. As we have previously mentioned, numerous discussions and direct negotiations have taken place in order to achieve this, and it is necessary to move beyond the current state.
As for any Arab country that continues to serve American policies—which are hostile and exploitative towards our entire Ummah, as they only seek exploitation and show no respect even for those being exploited or consideration for their true interests—there is no Arab country that has any real and genuine interest in serving American policies. The consequence of that is nothing but loss and misery. (It is Allah's help alone that we seek.)
Therefore, we advise everyone to liberate themselves from blind subservience to America. Our position at this stage is clear. We hope to reach a fair and just solution that leads, as we have stated, to the implementation of these clear peace requirements. As for America, Israel, and Britain, our position towards them is clear.
At the end of this speech, we say:
In the tenth year, we are coming with advanced military capabilities to protect our people, support the oppressed Palestinian people, and confront the conspiracies of the enemies. We are coming with an organized, faithful, and jihadist army that combines practical experience and building for strength. We are coming with widespread mobilization and unprecedented popular awareness. We are coming with complete cohesion on our domestic front.
In conclusion, we extend our thanks and appreciation to all those who stood with our country throughout these years: First and foremost, the Islamic Republic of Iran, which showed clear and explicit solidarity with our country; our brothers in Hezbollah in Lebanon, who had a supportive, united, and cooperative stance and faced many problems as a result; our brothers in Iraq; and all the free people around the world from our Ummah's sons and from all over the world who stood in solidarity with our people in their oppression and ordeal in all forms of solidarity.
We ask Allah (the Almighty) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah (Glory be to You), have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are All-Hearing!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
