Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on the Latest Developments
Thursday, the 11th of Ramadan 1445 A.H. (the 21st of March 2024 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
May Allah (Glory be to Him) accept our fasting, nights of worship, and good deeds.
In the middle of the sixth month, for twenty-four weeks, and on the one hundred and sixty-seventh day, the Israeli enemy continues its crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It commits mass massacres in which people are killed in masses. During this week, it has committed more than sixty massacres, at a rate of at least one hundred martyrs per day. The number of mass massacres (since the beginning of the Israeli aggression) has reached more than two thousand and nine hundred. This is a very huge and terrible number. The number of martyrs and missing persons has reached more than forty thousand martyrs and missing persons. The wounded are more than seventy-four thousand and six hundred wounded. Most of those who are martyred, wounded, or missing are children and women and within a limited geographical area in the Gaza Strip.
In the West Bank as well, there are four hundred and thirty-seven martyrs, four thousand seven hundred and twenty wounded, and seven thousand seven hundred abductees, who were kidnapped by the Israeli enemy and taken to its prisons.
These thousands of souls lost at the hands of the Israeli enemy, as well as the hundreds of thousands among the Palestinian people in Gaza who endure wounds, pains, and suffering in its harshest forms—children and women make three-quarters of them. This persistence in following this deliberate and calculated policy of systematic genocide, which is adopted by the American and Israeli enemy as a deliberate tactic and a supported and planned policy is a living testimony to the heinousness, savagery, and criminality of the killers of life, the Zionist bloodsuckers. This reflects how criminal, murderous, and dangerous to all humanity they are.
There is no surprise in the brutality of the hateful Zionist killers, who are systematically destroying all aspects of life for people whose land is usurped by them. That is because these murderous criminals have been raised since childhood on ideas and ideologies that instill in them hatred and love for killing every Arab and Muslim. This is evident in their educational and pedagogical curricula and policies.
These horrific massacres and this barbarism which America sponsors, supports their continuation, and insists on their continuation, bear witness to the moral decadence and human bankruptcy of a country that has deceived many by claiming that it leads the civilized world. These terrible crimes reveal America’s ugliness, and ring a renewed warning bell about the danger of its practices towards other nations, and they also serve as a reminder to many people in this world who have forgotten America's dark past, which was founded on crime, arrogance, and denial of the rights of others and built on the ruins of the inhabitants who were exterminated in their own lands. America sucks the blood of peoples, and its victims are in the millions, from Vietnam, to Afghanistan, to Iraq, to Palestine and Yemen. It is the only country in this world that used atomic bombs against civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. For those who have forgotten, or have been deceived, or have fallen asleep, the tragedy of Gaza is enough to waken all up, if only there was still any hope of waking up. It reveals the truth about America and its dependent, the Israeli enemy, which has been feeding on blood since its illegitimate birth and up to this day.
This tragedy is also a scandal to the so-called international community. It is a trampling of its international laws and norms. It is a disgrace to the Muslim community in various Islamic countries, in Arab countries and elsewhere. They bear more responsibility than others: In addition to the humanitarian responsibility, they bear a religious and ethical responsibility, as well as the responsibility towards the national security of the Ummah.
The criminal practices of the Israeli enemy are diverse, and it is coming up with more intense criminal methods and more crimes against the people of Palestine, including what happened in the early hours of last Friday. The hungry were gathering at the Kuwait roundabout, but they were surprised by an Israeli helicopter shooting directly at them. And when the survivors tried to take shelter in nearby buildings from the helicopter fire, the artillery of the Israeli enemy continued the massacre and rained them with shells. The next day, the Israeli enemy’s aircraft destroyed a residential building in the Al-Rimal neighborhood with several raids while residents were still in the building. Several families were buried under the building’s rubble. The excuse used by the Israeli enemy for this crime, or the reason used to justify this crime is the water well that is in the building’s courtyard. The distributed water from this well was supporting dozens of displaced families in buildings and around it.
As for the siege and starvation, the Israeli enemy is moving in two directions:
- First, obstructing the entry of trucks loaded with food and the necessary needs to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Only a rare few enter while the famine intensifies, the deaths increase, and the tragedy has reached its peak.
- Second, it targets some of the little that enters as it moves on the streets, while it targets the other part when people gather to receive this food.
One hundred percent of those in the Gaza Strip need food and aid. This percentage has been reported by international bodies and the United Nations. It is an unprecedented percentage that has never been seen in any country in the world. This means everyone in Gaza, without exception, needs assistance with food. This is a tragedy! It is very large, unprecedented in the world, and currently unparalleled in any country afflicted or in war. It is a very unfortunate and a very tragic situation.
According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification tasked with globally monitoring hunger, which consists of United Nations agencies (international relief bodies), extremely dangerous levels of acute malnutrition and deaths are imminent for more than two-thirds of the population in northern Gaza, where the forces of the Israeli enemy are imposing a siege on three hundred thousand Palestinian citizens. This is a disaster, a catastrophe, and a very terrible crime!
The enemy has also increased the frequency of targeting aid trucks while they are on the move . These are the few that rarely enter Gaza. Israeli enemy forces also target distribution centers. This week alone, they have committed more than ten massacres against aid distribution centers and killed workers in the organizing committees, seeking to intensify the war of starvation and create a state of chaos. The Israeli enemy has even targeted the tribal committees that secure the distribution of aid and killed many of them, including what happened the day before yesterday, Tuesday, in the Kuwait roundabout.
One of thousands of cases that express the magnitude of the tragedy of the Palestinian people, including women and children, is the scenes that spread in the media for a Palestinian mother. She went to search for flour for her starving children, and upon her return, she found her home in ruins. The Israeli enemy has bombed and destroyed the home while her children were still inside. In a tragic scene, the mother goes through intense episodes of crying while feeling the unbearable oppression for her killed children.
These tragic scenes and numbers are not stories to be told, but rather they are tragedies and pains that should awaken the conscience of those who still have a heart. They are a curse upon those oppressive criminals and their supporters and a stain of shame on the foreheads of the people who are silent and watch without taking action.
As for those who collude for the sake of gaining America's liking, they can reflect upon the late Pakistani president Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq's statement in which he said that America has no friends and those who deal with the White House are like those who deal with a coal seller, for they only end up with nothing except blackened faces and hands. May Allah blacken the faces of all people who are silent and watch without taking action!
America persists in belittling the great tragedy there and keeping it ongoing. Despite the warning reports from the United Nations and the statements of many countries and organizations stating that the Israeli enemy is using starvation as a weapon to kill the people in Gaza, despite the clarity of this fact to the naked eye, and despite the fact that this tragedy is being watched on television in the documented video footage, the Americans, who are a partner to the Israeli enemy in its crimes, shamelessly appear and say that they have not seen any evidence and demands conclusive proof. All of this is a manifestation of deception.
As for the displaced and their suffering, the Israeli enemy employs various methods to exterminate them, persecute them, terrorize them, and diversify the methods of killing them. They do that by displacing them and designating certain passages and streets as safe, only to kill them through bombarding the convoys of displaced people in those passages. They also deploy snipers who set up ambushes in those streets to carry out executions against the displaced. They also designate areas as safe zones for displacement and announce them to the Palestinians, but suddenly, after these areas become crowded with displaced people, they declare them as military zones and bombard them, resulting in the deadly killing of the displaced: After being able to gather a large number of them in a confined geographical area, they subject them to famine, epidemics, and various methods of extermination.
In this week, the forces of the Israeli enemy besieged two schools that were housing displaced people near Al-Shifa Hospital in the city of Gaza. They stormed one of the schools, arrested several displaced individuals, displaced women forcefully, and compelled them to leave through Al-Rashid Street, which the enemy forces designate as a passage for displacement and then commit massacres in it. Once the people reach that street, the enemy forces commence killing, sniping, and executing them. The killings of the displaced continued through direct targeting of their gatherings, even reaching their tents. As a result, the majority of Gaza's population has become displaced, with around two million displaced individuals.
Regarding the health situation, it is catastrophic by all measures, and the Zionist enemy continues to destroy the healthcare system and terrorize patients and medical staff through repeatedly invading hospitals, opening fire towards patient rooms every now and then, and even killing patients on their hospital beds. This week, starting from last Monday, the enemy initiated a continuous military operation targeting once again Al-Shifa Medical Complex through shelling and direct gunfire; it has killed dozens and wounded hundreds inside and around the hospital. The doctors and nurses have reached a point where they are unable to save some of the wounded, even though they were in the hospital, due to the intensity of the gunfire and the enemy's targeting of anyone approaching the windows. Furthermore, the enemy soldiers stormed the hospital, executing and killing patients and medical personnel after arresting them. The Israeli enemy has admitted to executing ninety patients and members of the healthcare staff.
The enemy also subjected the remaining medical staff and patients to physical assault and abduction, and it disconnected ventilators from some patients to kill them. It also compelled some of them to leave the hospital on foot and besieged the specialized surgery building, setting it on fire. It also besieged the emergency department, terrorizing patients and displaced individuals, and set fire to the hospital gate. The Zionist criminals even stripped the unarmed captives completely for a full day. These acts of brutality and criminality are unparalleled! However, the normalizing Arabs present these people as doves of peace and seek to make our Arab peoples believe that the correct and wise choice is normalizing relations with them. As for the targeting of medical personnel, four hundred and seventy-six of them have been martyred, and three hundred have been taken captive.
In terms of the comprehensive destruction and devastation that has affected most cities, homes, residences, facilities, and buildings in the Gaza Strip, around 369,000 housing units have been completely or partially destroyed. This includes over five hundred mosques targeted by the enemy through shelling and destruction.
In addition to all this criminality, genocide, and immense and comprehensive destruction, the enemy seeks to destabilize the security situation in Gaza and spread chaos. It is attempting to restore a state of direct occupation and exert direct control over the Strip. It has targeted the police chief in the Gaza Strip, the head of investigations in northern Gaza, the police chief in Al-Nusairat, and government personnel in the city of Rafah. Its aim is to undermine security and order, sow chaos, and create an environment conducive to imposing its proxies to take control of the situation for its own benefit. This is part of its aggression against the Palestinian people; it is a gruesome and dangerous part of it.
In this context, we commend the awareness, insight, and steadfastness of the people of the Gaza Strip, who have taken a decisive position and categorically rejected any dealings with the Israeli enemy or its proxies. This demonstrates their awareness, faith, and wisdom, and it is the right position to take.
In the face of such atrocities, brutality, genocide, and immense destruction—which does not only enjoy the support of America but also its participation and is supported by Western countries, including Germany, France, and others—the mujahidin and the people of Gaza have shown steadfastness, a great steadfastness.
The mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, including the Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and other jihadist factions, continue to fight courageously, to confront the Israeli enemy, and to inflict losses on its soldiers and vehicles. They set up deadly ambushes to the enemy’s soldiers, and during this week, they have targeted approximately fifteen of the enemy’s vehicles.
Considering the scale of aggression, criminality, genocide, immense destruction, and the enemy's excessive use of internationally prohibited weapons and despite the extremely limited capabilities and modest resources of the mujahidin under a years-long blockade that is not new but has intensified even more, the cohesion of the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip is a divine sign from Allah and a source of pride for the Palestinian people in all future generations. In fact, the mujahidin in Palestine, along with the local residents, remain cohesive and steadfast. They continue to fight and confront the enemy with bravery, inflicting casualties in terms of deaths and injuries and destroying enemy vehicles. The people insist on staying in the Strip, rejecting displacement, despite the unparalleled, tragic, unfortunate, and deeply painful for any person who retains a living conscience and a shred of humanity!
The Israeli enemy is facing great failure: It has neither been able to take control and get rid of the mujahidin’s steadfastness, operations, ambushes, or strikes nor to get its captives back or to achieve any form of victory so as to boast and brag about it. It just brags about its various heinous crimes, including its killing of children. Indeed, its officers, soldiers, and political leaders brag about killing civilians, killing the elderly among the residents, killing patients on hospital beds, and killing the residents in their homes, streets, and roads. This is all they boast about.
Furthermore, in the reality of the Israeli enemy, there is now a crisis in recruitment. This indicates the difficulty the enemy faces in fighting the mujahidin in Gaza, and it reflects their bravery and steadfastness. The Israeli enemy has incurred significant losses in terms of those who got killed or wounded or are suffering psychological and mental issues and those who evade participating in combat. They are attempting to compensate for this through recruitment. However, there is resistance to recruitment and combat among various Israeli groups, including even those groups who harbour the strongest hatred towards the Palestinian people and towards Muslims in general, especially Arabs. These groups do not lack hatred or the gloomy, hostile view towards the Palestinian people or towards Muslims, particularly Arabs. Despite that, they refuse to enlist and threaten to leave Palestine. Some choose imprisonment over recruitment, and some raise the slogan 'Death rather than recruitment!' They evade recruitment, causing a clear crisis and internal problem for the enemy in this regard. This is among the results of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their mujahidin. Also, what bears witness to the failures of the Israeli enemy is that there are increasing, intensifying conflicts that are clear and declared.
As for the economic losses, which the so-called Israeli Minister of Finance refers to and describes as a catastrophe—this means that the economic losses are very significant and continue to increase. Their magnitude and figures reach a frightening level for the Israelis. The same applies to debts.
Among the factors that have impacted the Israeli enemy's economic situation is the disruption of the port of Umm Al-Rashrash, which the enemy refers to as Eilat. It has been decided by the enemy to lay off half of the port workers. Indeed, the port has come to a complete halt. This has had an impact on its economic situation in the city and reflected on the overall economic situation of the Israeli enemy.
There are statements expressing disappointment and significant losses among the Israelis, including Israeli media outlets stating that they are facing the most severe scandal since the establishment of their army and the most significant failure since the establishment of Israel. They also add that the internal front 'is not prepared for a regional war, which will be thousands of times more difficult and serious than the war in the Gaza Strip.' The Israelis are evaluating the effectiveness of their army in facing only a few thousand mujahidin in Gaza with very limited resources and under (as we have mentioned) a long-standing siege that has intensified during the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza. They observe the situation: Despite the immense destruction and heavy bombardment and despite the deployment of numerous military units and brigades (the majority of the Israeli army) to fight in Gaza, they see their failure.
A significant number of regular and reserve soldiers have been dismissed. Indeed, a great number has been dismissed. Despite their military capabilities and potentials, they have witnessed their failure. That is why they refer to this failure as a scandal and the biggest scandal since the establishment of Israel. Therefore, there is a great value and significant impact for the steadfastness of the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, their firmness, and their determination, as well as for the steadfastness of the people of Gaza despite the magnitude of suffering and sacrifices. In fact, this stage is considered crucial, historic, and fateful and holds future importance and impacts. Hence, the matter is of utmost importance. This relates to the confrontation in the Gaza Strip, the failure of the Israeli enemy, and the steadfastness of the mujahidin and residents of Gaza.
As for the supporting fronts, the direct Lebanese front, which is directly engaged in combat with the Israeli enemy, continues to inflict harm on the enemy and deliver painful strikes. In fact, its impact on the Israeli army and the herds of the occupying settlers in northern Palestine is significant. It announces the operations in detail, providing video documentation, and promptly disseminates this information.
Regarding the front in Yemen, within the comprehensive position adopted by our country both officially and popularly and the efforts made at all levels, especially military operations carried out by the missile and drone forces and naval forces, this week has witnessed operations that involve launching eighteen ballistic and winged missiles and drones.
One of the most significant operations this week, which caused great concern for the enemy, was an operation targeting Umm Al-Rashrash with an advanced missile. This missile managed to reach its target, surpassing all monitoring and interception technologies possessed by America and Israel. This development surprised the Israeli enemy, who openly admitted its surprise. Furthermore, it opened up new horizons for the dear mujahidin brothers in the missile forces, particularly in the development of long-range missile capabilities. The Israeli enemy's significant concern has been evident in its media outlets.
Our armed forces have also carried out operations to target Israeli and American ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, as well as an additional operation in the Indian Ocean. The total number of strikes since the beginning of these operations is 479 missiles and drones.
On the other hand, regarding the American enemy's attempt to support the Israeli enemy and provide cover for its crimes, in its joint operations with Britain, there were thirty-one airstrikes and naval bombardments during this week. This makes the total number of airstrikes and naval bombardments carried out by America and Britain in support of the Israeli enemy against our country reach 407. America utilizes its advanced capabilities and weapons in these strikes and bombardment, yet it is failing and acknowledging its failure, starting from the US president to other officials, officers in the US Department of Defense, and officers in the US Navy. They all admit that their operations are failing: failing to achieve deterrence, to prevent operations launched from our country in support of the Palestinian people, and to limit those capabilities. On the contrary, there is an evident, tangible improvement in the capabilities that has been clear to them, starting with the improvement that has been seen in the strikes launched towards the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden. They have also noticed the use of ballistic missiles, for the first time in history, in targeting ships in the sea. They have also noticed the exceptional capabilities of hacking and accessing information about ships, their movements, and their locations before striking and targeting them in the right place.
The recent developments, including the missile that reached Umm Al-Rashrash without detection or interception, as well as the operations of striking and targeting that have reached the Indian Ocean, are extremely significant developments, and there will be even greater, more significant, more impactful developments, by Allah's grace. However, as we mentioned before, we leave room for actions first and words second.
The failure of America and Britain is also evident in their inability to protect the ships belonging to the Israeli enemy. Lately, since America and Britain collaborated in committing an aggression against our country in support of the Israeli enemy, they have also been unable to protect their own ships. The current situation for them is both concerning and troublesome.
Among the criteria and evidence of this success for our armed forces is the limited movement of Israeli ships, ships associated with the Israeli enemy, and American and British ships, as this is the case except on rare occasions and after resorting to extensive camouflage operations. They are publishing new contracts to make it look like that they have sold those ships, as if America were bankrupt and urgently needed to sell its ships! Despite engaging in camouflage and deception operations, raising flags of other countries on the ships, and attempting to provide misleading information about the ships, they end up being exposed and astonished at how all those misleading and deceitful operations, through which they tried to protect their ships, had been exposed. After their military failure, they are seeking means of camouflage, which serves as clear evidence of their failure.
It is the less capable party who is often more likely to resort to means of camouflage. However, in spite of all their weaponry, they failed and resorted to the same measures used by others who have limited, humble resources, such as seeking camouflage operations and reducing their movement activates, which has a significant impact on them.
In fact, this causes them to constantly suffer economic losses and soaring prices in America and Britain. As for the Israeli enemy, it is facing shortages of some goods, and the prices of some goods have significantly increased, a trend that continues and will, Allah willing, persist even more with other steps and measures that will have a greater impact on the enemy, Allah willing. The detailed statistics—which we leave to our brothers in the media to present to the sons of our Ummah and our dear people—regarding the economic losses of the Israeli, American, and British enemies and their failures, setbacks, economic losses, and clear economic problems are important and useful details.
The shipping costs are rising, causing prices to soar to multiples, to high levels. This is not to mention the morale of the US Navy forces in battleships and warships tasked with supporting the Israeli enemy: Their morale is low. Here, we share a statement from an American officer in the US Navy, since he is one of them and can serve as a witness from their own ranks: He says that what they (the Americans) are facing in the Red Sea is a relentless war and poses the greatest challenge to the US Navy in recent history. Notice this precise and realistic description, a description from their own perspective, so this reveals the impact and effectiveness of the operations carried out by our armed forces. He says that this is the greatest challenge to the US Navy in recent history and 'the most since World War Two'. This has a tremendous impact, and it is a blessing to have such a significant impact and effectiveness. It is a great blessing. This is a manifestation of divine support and help! He also states that was the last time America operated in an area where they could be fired upon every day. They are in constant worry on their military ships in the sea, on their military vessels.
He also says that they are away from home. It is clear that they feel a sense of alienation; however, they are nosy and aggressors. They have come to these waters driven by aggression, oppression, and injustice, supporting the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy in its genocidal acts against the Palestinian people. He says that they are away from home. So return to your homes! Has anyone from the Islamic world waged war against you? Have the Palestinian people done anything to you that could justify your participation in aggression against them to this extent? What have our Yemeni people done to provoke your aggression? What have the people of the Islamic world in various countries done to you? You are the aggressors. Return to your homes. The solution is simple.
He says that they are away from home with few creature comforts. In fact, they are accustomed to comfort, as the American military, whether the navy, army, or other military formations, has abundant means of comfort. They are pampered. As for the mujahidin in our armed forces, they are accustomed to enduring hardships. They are mujahidin in every sense of the word and perform their sacred duties with pride, honour, and pleasure.
This American officer says that bill of every meal on the carrier alone is $2m a month. In other words, even their food expenses on those ships are exorbitant. The financial cost is a challenge for them. He says, 'It's difficult to define winning and losing in this kind of conflict.' This indicates that they have little hope of winning the battle or achieving their objectives. Also, he says that it would also require wider government and international efforts. In fact, they attempt to entangle others to alleviate the burden on themselves, and this is America's policy in all conflicts and assaults it carries out against other nations.
He says that it would take more than a powerful American carrier strike group to resolve this issue. He also says that his troops entertain themselves with dogs for amusement—as they say, 'Birds of a feather flock together.' The lowly and degrading state in which they live while engaged in criminal, aggressive missions brings them to such a low level—and to alleviate some of the pressure resulting from being away from their homes for several consecutive months.
With regard to popular activities, but before we talk about popular activities, America also moves in a political direction in addition to the military direction against our country to pressure it to stop its operations in support of the Palestinian people. The use of pressure at the economic and humanitarian levels and exerting pressure on humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people is another direction being moved in. There is also a media-focused direction that started at a certain pace and continues to escalate through those who act as its mouthpiece. America shapes the media policies, provides the headlines, and determines the directions, and their mouthpieces who belong to our people act according to that. The Saudis finance—they provide the money. Therefore, there is a media-focused direction being moved in, and our dear people must be fully aware that the American, Israeli, and British side works on a media-focused scheme that is part of their battle against our country and against the Palestinian people. They even continue to defame our mujahidin brothers in Palestine: They continue to defame the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas, and the factions of those mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Al-Quds Brigades, and the rest of the factions. They hold them responsible and constantly seek to defame them through all headlines and hold them responsible for all the terrible crimes committed by the Israelis. There are also intense efforts to defame Hezbollah's supportive position and the Yemeni front, as a continuous track. We did track some of those propaganda campaigns launched by America and expressed by Israel and Britain before being reproduced by their Arab-affiliated parrots and those attributed to our country. They move accordingly and follow the same headlines and directions.
As for our dear people, thanks to Allah (the Almighty), an opportunity has arisen for a comprehensive and complete position. We are lacking one matter: directly sending crowds of fighters. That is because of the geographical barriers with Arab countries, which have refused to open land corridors for the mujahidin from among our people and their armed forces to join the Palestinian people in confronting the Israeli enemy. This is the only missing thing; however, it is beyond our reach. If we were just given the opportunity—we requested the Arab countries that separate us from Palestine geographically , even as a test and a proof, but they adamantly refused. They are not inclined to provide the simplest form of solidarity with the Palestinian people by severing diplomatic and economic ties with the Israeli enemy, let alone opening safe land passages for our people to engage in direct combat.
However, our people fought, and our armed forces fought with the available resources, including missiles, with continuous development and a high pace for the missile forces so as to overcome obstructive technologies such as jamming, interception, and surveillance by the American and Israeli forces. In fact, they are considered the most advanced. That is, what America and Israel possess is among the most advanced technologies and capabilities in surveillance, jamming, and interception. So surpassing them signifies a significant victory and a major development in our country's capabilities. This in itself is a triumph.
Our people participate at the military level, stating with intensive bombardment operations in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea and extending to the Indian Ocean. We have significant plans for the future to, Allah willing, deal more impactful blows to the enemy. We work with all our capabilities without any hesitation, neither political nor any other reservations or considerations, except for being mindful of Allah, striving to please Him, fulfilling our responsibilities, and keeping our conscience sin-free before Allah, the Almighty. We will do anything that we can do and that is legitimate, without hesitation and without any concern for political calculations. We are not worried by the enemy's threats, classifications, hostile propaganda campaigns, statements, condemnations, characterizations, or anything else. Our greatest goal is being mindful of Allah, working to please Him, and responding to the call of the human conscience within us and the call of faith regarding the duty we have to do in support of the Palestinian people. Militarily, we continue to develop our military action and military operations more and more, with a wider range of options available.
At the popular level, this position should be supported and expressed, for America's constant approach is to hinder any position from within. It tries to obstruct it from within through causing confusion, stirring up problems, exerting pressure by use of different headings, and imposing other priorities that distract people from the greatest responsibilities, the most important events, and the most crucial positions. Our dear people have experienced this during the aggression over the past nine years.
During the aggression, when the massacres committed by the enemies under American supervision were at their peak, with American bombs and missiles killing thousands of our people in cities, villages, roads, markets, mosques, and hospitals and when the forces that executed the aggression on our country under American supervision were invading the country from all directions, America, along with its mouthpiece and proxies, tried to distract our people from all of that. Even though the situation was really terrible (horrifying crimes, intense blockade, and widespread ground invasion), America attempted to numb and distract our people and divert their attention to accomplish its task of gaining complete control over our country and people. Nonetheless, public awareness, the high awareness of our dear people, kept standing in its way as a stumbling block that often led to its failure—they succeeded in some provinces and areas but failed in other areas.
When military operations are accompanied with popular activity, this holds significance to the military action and also plays an important role in sympathizing with the Palestinian people in the midst of this responsibility-evading environment, where deafening silence prevails in Arab and Islamic countries. You can hardly hear a sound from them, nor perceive any sensation, movement, or stance, as if they were dead! Where is the pressure-causing position? Where is the supportive position? Where is the loud supporting voice? In the midst of this surrounding of Arab and Islamic countries, most of which are dominated by silence, inertia, stillness, spectatorship, neglect, and heedlessness, the Yemeni people's position emerged in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, with their loud voice and comprehensive position. They donate money despite the harshest and most difficult circumstances, giving out of that little they have and offering whatever they can. They take to the streets and participate in roaring demonstrations in millions. This holds great significance in supporting the Palestinian people. It lets them hear those standing by their side, shouting for them, supporting them, expressing solidarity, and taking a stance against the enemy. This has extremely tremendous importance, and it is an undisputed matter. Therefore, the popular position and people's activities are of utmost importance, alongside military actions and others.
While discussing popular activities, we would like to turn to the domestic affairs to talk about a tragic and painful incident that occurred this week in the city of Radaa. The security forces in Radaa was targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of two of them. The reaction from some security personnel involved assaults, brutal and unlawful behaviour, and the detonation of a house adjacent to others. The tragedy further unfolded with the martyrdom and injury of some residents and the damage or destruction of some homes. In light of what happened in this regard:
First, I extend my condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs residing in those houses.
Second, we disassociate ourselves to Allah (the Almighty) from those transgressions, assaults, and similar acts.
Third, We immediately directed the relevant official authorities to take action against those involved in the assault and expedite fair and comprehensive compensation for the affected individuals. There was concern, regret, and pain towards this individual, criminal, unlawful, and unacceptable behaviour. The official entities, including the presidency and the Ministry of Interior, expressed regret, sorrow, and sadness. The Ministry of Interior responded promptly and swiftly moved to implement these measures.
Fourth, individual transgressions and assaults, whether committed by individuals affiliated with the security units or others, which involve injustice or aggression, do not represent us, our morals, our religion, or our values. The official entities are concerned and responsible for continuously striving to prevent such transgressions, hinder them, and exercise full control over operational performance, ensuring prompt justice in addressing any occurrences of transgressions or breaches.
Fifth, I commend the high awareness of the residents there, in Al-Bayda Governorate as a whole (both those affected by this unfortunate incident and the people in Al-Bayda Governorate as a whole). Despite the enemies' considerable efforts to exploit this incident and fuel internal conflicts, the position of the residents there was conscious, honourable, and responsible. When they witnessed fair measures being taken, they deprived the enemies and haters of the opportunity.
Sixth, I affirm that Yemeni blood is precious to us, and we will spare no effort to ensure the protection of lives, dignity, and properties. We will constantly strive for that. The people in Radaa are our own people, our sons, and our brothers, and we feel pain for what happened there.
Seventh, It is ironic that the condemnation came from the U.S. Department of State, while the Israeli enemy made provocative comments. Consequently, their media mouthpiece mobilized in that context with Saudi funding. All their efforts are directed towards what happened; however, they are indifferent towards the affected local residents or the injustice they suffered. They do not care about them or the Yemeni people. Rather, they have sought to exterminate the Yemeni people, and they adopt this culture that was expressed by one of their scholars who said that there was no problem to exterminating twenty-five million Yemenis for the sake of the other one million—that is, them and their followers. This is their culture, a culture of extermination and criminal tendencies. They are not concerned about what is happening in Gaza, nor have they shown any concern for the massacres, injustices, and genocidal crimes against our people over the past nine years. On the contrary, they justified them, participated in some of them, supported them, and incited the extermination of the Yemeni people with all their power. So when they shed crocodile tears, they have no regard at all for our people and what they are going through.
The American position has no concern except protecting the Israeli criminality in Gaza and undermining any action in support of the Palestinian people by all means: through using media, fueling internal problems, and imposing things on people as priorities that dominate people's minds, interests, and speech to make them forget the tremendous tragedy happening in the Gaza Strip. It strives to hinder any action that supports the Palestinian people. How can it be otherwise when America is the mother of terrorism, criminality, and the greatest killer and destroyer in all of history? Even the Mongols did not kill as many people as America has killed. America is the greatest killer and destroyer throughout history.
In all nations, there are those who are victimized by America. It has victimized nations, cities, villages, and millions of people across the world, from Japan and Vietnam to Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, and Yemen. The Yemeni people have been killed in acts of genocide with American bombs in various provinces, and these crimes are documented on video and widely known. Therefore, America lacks integrity to pretend sympathy or take a position towards any issue here or there. As for Israel, there is no need to say anything, as it daily commits acts of genocide in Palestine.
As for some mercenaries, they are mouthpieces for America and Israel. All it takes is to do some digging in this regard, and one will find that America and Israel are the ones standing behind this, while they are parroting what America has said, but in the local and Arabic language. Their crimes against the Yemeni people and their bloody and brutal criminal record are known in all provinces. We are not here to go into details. However, I say to them:
Where is your role towards Gaza? Compete, take a more noble position, and take a position with the sincere intentions that you claim to have. Take a position instead of constantly seeking to defame others' positions or discourage them. We have the courage to acknowledge the mistakes of those who err and commit wrongdoing, hold them accountable, seek justice for their transgressions, and work towards preventing such mistakes in the future. Do you have this courage towards the crimes committed in the occupied provinces?!
We are more concerned for our dear people than America, Israel, the coalition, and its mouthpieces and proxies. Our greater concern for them is driven by our sense of humanity, faith, morals, values, and responsibility before Allah, as well as the mutual responsibility we all share as citizens of one county.
The supportive position towards the Palestinian people is a position that represents every person who is free and still has a human conscience in our country. It is not limited to a specific group and should not therefore be linked to any particular issue here or there. It is a position taken for the sake of Allah and has to do with history, responsibility, and conscience. It is an important position; it is a human, moral, and religious responsibility. It is fortunate for a person to move consciously in that regard, without being influenced by the length of time—as some may become apathetic. Lacking interest reflects weakness in one's faith, sense of responsibility, and awareness—or getting affected by the enemies' discouraging efforts, as they are active in that regard, or by defamation, as they are active in that too.
We are in the month of fasting, the month of Taqwa, and the month of reciting the Holy Quran more than any other time or month. The expected outcome of that is to have Taqwa, show practical response to Allah (the Almighty), and move in a way that enables one to achieve the perfection of Taqwa that makes his fasting, Salat, and good deeds accepted, for Allah says, {'Allah only accepts from those who are muttaqin'}. For the sake of drawing closer to Allah (the Almighty) through one of greatest acts that draw one closer to Allah, seeking His pleasure, and keeping our conscience sin-free from any involvement in the crimes of the Israeli enemy—as falling into a state of ignorance and indifference and not taking any action or expressing solidarity make one complicit in what is happening there—we must continue in the comprehensive movement in the month of Ramadan, the month of the Conquest of Makkah and the month of the great Battle of Badr, the Day of Criterion. It is the month of Taqwa, fasting, good deeds, jihad, and raising the banners for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him). The weekly turnout of our people amidst widespread inaction and silence in most Arab and Islamic nations is a great honour and a manifestation of their faith, values, and ethics.
Last week, on the first Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, there was confusion regarding the timing of the demonstration in Sanaa, whether it should be in the afternoon or after Salat Al-Asr. This week, the committee will announce the timing precisely to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding in that regard.
Finally, I address our dear people and call upon them with the call of Allah (the Almighty), Who says, {'Mobilize, light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and yourselves in the way of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew'}. I call upon you with the call of His Messenger (PBUH&F), who said, 'Whoever wakes up without concern for the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them, and whoever hears a Muslim calling out "O Muslims!" and does not respond to him is not one of them.' This call, 'Oh Muslims! Oh Arabs!' is made to you by the Al-Aqsa Mosque, by those stationed there, and by more than two million Muslims in the Gaza Strip. So go out tomorrow, by the will and grace of Allah! O people of loyalty, chivalry, faith, honour, steadfastness, nobility, and manhood, go out by Allah's grace, according to the established arrangements and rallying points.
We ask Allah (the Almighty) to accept our fasting, night prayers, and good deeds, to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people, and to grant us victory. O Allah, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are All-Hearing!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
