Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi, Leader of the Revolution (May Allah protect him), regarding the latest developments in Palestine

I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and with all Your righteous servants and the mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
First, we extend our congratulations and greetings to the dear Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin in the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Al-Quds Brigades, and all the other jihadist factions, on the monumental and historic victory that Allah has bestowed upon them and our Islamic Ummah in the blessed operation of Al-Aqsa Flood. Through this operation, Allah has granted these heroic mujahidin a significant and historic victory unprecedented in the march of jihad by the brave mujahidin of the Palestinian people, the oppressed dear nation.
This operation has had significant results in breaking the equations and inflicting severe losses on the criminal, arrogant, oppressive, aggressive, and usurping Zionist enemy. It has also had incredibly profound effects on elevating the level of jihad performance for the dear and heroic mujahidin among the Palestinian people. Furthermore, its timing holds great importance, considering the circumstances, the reality, and the context in which it unfolded within the broader regional context.
The grievance of the Palestinian people and the Western countries' embrace of the criminal entity
The Palestinian people have been oppressed since the inception of the criminal usurping entity, which has no right or legitimacy to seize Palestine, commit all forms of injustice and tyranny against the oppressed Palestinian people, control the land, and do injustice to the dear Muslim people for that.
Since the establishment of that usurping entity, its inception has been based on criminality, daily killings, assaults in all forms, land confiscation, the deprivation of rights, and the practice of committing abduction, killings, and torture against the Palestinian people. Since its first day, the Israeli entity has been the darling of the arrogant colonial powers, starting with Britain and ending with America. It has received, at every stage and up until now, open support and complete endorsement from the Americans and Western countries, as evident primarily in the British stance, followed by the French stance, the German and Italian stances, and the majority of other Western countries.
Everyone supports, endorses, and backs the Israeli entity in all its crimes to remain a dominant occupier and continue its oppressive criminal practices. These practices have been a catastrophe for an entire people, the oppressed Palestinian people. Despite all the slogans proclaimed by the disbelieving West, led by America, about various rights, such as human rights, women's rights, children's rights, the right of peoples to self-determination, the right of peoples to freedom and independence, and the right to life—all the rights that the West speaks about or are included in the United Nations Charter—none of that holds any value or consideration when the Palestinian people are involved. America, France, Britain, Germany, Italy, and Western countries in general have allowed the Zionist Jewish enemy to do whatever it likes in Palestine. They permitted it to kill the Palestinian people, to kill men and women, to kill young and old, and to excel in killing and executing them using all means, whether in cold blood or in prisons. If it wants to kill them through airstrikes, it is okey. If it wants to kill them through direct gunfire, it is okey. If it wants to kill women, it is okey, since there are no rights for women in Palestine. If it wants to kill children, it is okey. If it wants to kill people while they are sleeping in their homes, it is okey. They unleashed it to commit all forms and types of crimes, to occupy the land, seize private property, demolish houses and homes, uproot olive trees, seize lands unjustly, usurp the independence and freedom of a people, and occupy an entire homeland over an entire people! This is because they wanted the Zionist enemy to be their spearhead in the Arab and Islamic region so that it targets the entire Ummah and acts as their agent and tool in targeting the Ummah, as a whole.
The criminal practices of the Zionists are a testament to the criminality of Western regimes
Since the inception of the Zionist entity until today, all the scenes, practices, policies, and crimes expose the non-believer West. They expose America, Britain, and Western societies in what they boast of as slogans and use to present themselves as a civilized nation. All the practices and crimes that often escalate to the level of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity and human existence, as well as all forms and types of crimes and aggression, provide clear evidence that Western regimes, led by America and Britain, are criminal systems whose leaders and officials are criminals in every sense of the word. That is why they support those criminals from the usurping Zionist entity, which is an entirely criminal entity. They have supported it because they themselves are criminals. They are criminals who support criminals in every sense of the word. We, as an Islamic world, as well as all the free people of the world and all the nations around the globe, should look at them with this true perspective: that they are indeed criminals and oppressive tyrants who cannot be trusted with anything. So when they boastfully wave some banners about rights, freedoms, or anything else, they imagine that people are fools, and they imagine that human society is so foolish that they can deceive it and speak before it—while they are engaged in criminality and tyranny—using such banners to deceive it. That is because to them, these are merely methods of deception that they politically employ to penetrate our societies, interfere in all our affairs, and sow discord in our countries. Otherwise, the facts are clear in Palestine today.
The Palestinian people, throughout all these decades, for over seventy years and even before that, since the beginnings of the organized Jewish immigration within the framework of the occupation plan for Palestine until today, have never received any serious attention to address their grievance and to put an end to the oppression they face, not even from the successive international institutions that present themselves as concerned with the rights of peoples and with establishing peace and security for human society. What has the United Nations done since the beginning of the events in Palestine, since the beginning of the Nakba and the oppression of the Palestinian people until today?! The United Nations admitted the criminal Zionist Israeli enemy, which has no legitimacy whatsoever, as a member within it (the United Nations), and recognized it, despite its lack of legitimacy. It has recognized it, acknowledged its clear and unjust control over Palestine, admitted it, and considered it a UN member.
What has the Security Council, with its orientations and decisions, done for the Palestinian people? Has it protected Palestinian children, Palestinian women, women in Palestine, the elderly, and the innocent civilians in Palestine? It has never protected anyone. The primary role of the Western society (the Western regimes, the successive American administrations, European regimes, especially the British regime) has been to seek to impose an equation that allows the Zionist Israeli enemy to do whatever it pleases to the Palestinians: daily killings, abductions, imprisonment, torture, destruction, confiscation of freedom and independence, and occupation of an entire homeland with all forms of torture, such as uprooting olive trees, demolishing houses, and committing all forms of aggression without any reaction from the Palestinians. They also sought to maintain the deception and false hopes regarding Palestinian rights in a part of Palestine serves only as a way to divert the Palestinian people from following any proper path to regain their rightful and legitimate rights, to regain their homeland, and to repel the injustice. This equation was pursued by the United States and Western administrations, particularly the British administration, ensuring that Israel can do whatever it wants without any reaction from the Palestinian people. Then comes the issue of deceit and illusions, which have no reality. Then there are also efforts to extinguish this issue within the framework of normalizing relations with the rest of the Arab and Islamic countries, making them accept the Israeli enemy as it is, with its occupation of Palestine and injustice towards the Palestinian people, making them accept it as a member in the region, as a normal entity, and pushing them to enter into normal relations with it, recognize it as if it were a legitimate state, and acknowledge its alleged rights.
The grievance of the Palestinian people is one of the clearest issues, if not the clearest grievance and issue, and the most evident rights in this era. Even though it is a grievance of such a magnitude, a grievance of an entire nation and at such a level of clarity, they try to eliminate and undermine it. They also attempt to fight the Palestinian people through the approach of normalization and relations with their Arab proxies in the Islamic world. For what purpose? They seek to make the Palestinian people feel that they are alone on the battlefield, without support or backing, and that there will be no one in the Islamic world or Arab countries to stand by their side! They aim to use this as a means of pressure to undermine their cause. This is a tremendously great grievance.
This is the only option for the Palestinian people to alleviate the injustice inflicted upon them
Therefore, it becomes clear that the Palestinian people have no option but the divine option, which is jihad in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him) and engaging in jihad to repel injustice, to expel the occupier from their land, to reclaim their legitimate rights, to save their families, and to push back the evil and injustice perpetrated against them on a daily basis by the Zionist enemy.
The mujahidin in Palestine have been active throughout the past years and for decades, enhancing their jihadist performance and achieving tangible accomplishments. And now they have become a force with influence and active presence. This is the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
This operation (Al-Aqsa Flood) is a great and significant operation that is carried out within the framework of the legitimate right of the Palestinian mujahidin and Palestinian people to stand up to and confront their oppressive, criminal, and occupying and usurping enemy. This enemy subjects them to all forms of injustice, killing them every day (including children, women, and men of all ages), confiscating their rights, occupying their land and homeland, and denying them their right to independence and freedom. This is why they cannot be blamed. They possess divine lawfulness: Allah stated in the Holy Quran, {'Permission has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory'}, and He also stated, {'But indeed any do help and defend themselves after a wrong to them, against such there is no cause to blame'}. The argument and blame should be directed against the hostile Israeli entity, which is the usurping and occupying entity, and against those who support it in all forms, foremost among them is the United States. The United States provides ammunition, missiles, and bombs that kill children and women in the Gaza Strip. It provides the resources and means of killing and destruction used by the Israelis to kill civilians, the Palestinian people of all age groups (men and women), and to destroy their homes and civilian infrastructure. America is criminal, endorsing this criminality and directly participating in it.
Since this operation began, America has quickly responded and acted as if it is the primary party involved. This clearly demonstrates to our nations and our Ummah the basically evident truth, which has been witnessed in all the events and stages of the past years, namely the level of the American role that reaches the degree of partnership, in every sense of the word, with the Zionist-Israeli enemy in all the crimes it commits against the Palestinian people, our Islamic Ummah, and our Arab countries and peoples. It is a clear reality that America is a partner in all the crimes of the Zionist-Israeli enemy: in all its criminal practices against civilians including children and women, against all the people in Palestine, and against our Ummah in general. America is a partner in criminality, and it is well known that Israel is the darling of America. This is an important matter for our peoples and our Ummah to maintain a correct perspective: to know who the enemy is that targets us as a Muslim ummah and the Muslim Palestinian people, who are part of us. We bear responsibility towards them, and at the same time, we bear responsibility against the danger that threatens them and threatens the entire Ummah. The matter is clear when the Americans took immediate action to fully support the Israeli stance after witnessing the current situation that the Zionist enemy has reached, the magnitude of shock and astonishment, and the immense confusion that has overtaken the Zionists. They have suffered a major defeat to the point of bewilderment and complete confusion, which is evident in their reality. The magnitude of the shock is enormous towards this operation, prompting other Western countries to take action: issuing statements, declaring positions, and providing support, financial aid, and more.
Supporting the mujahidin in Palestine is an obligation in all respects
So, taking into account all considerations and circumstances, it is a religious, humanitarian, ethical, and religious duty for our Islamic Ummah as a whole, and primarily for the Arabs, to support the Palestinian people, to support the mujahidin in Palestine, to stand with them, and to provide them with all forms of support and assistance at the political level, the media level, the financial level, and even the militarily level.
It is unacceptable and inappropriate for this Ummah to stand by, watching the Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin. This is true especially as all the other Western countries rush to support the Zionist enemy, the oppressor, the criminal, the occupier, the usurper, and the defiler of sacred sites. Even the circumstances that witnessed the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation were clear, even in terms of targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque. The levels of the targeting reached unprecedented levels, with negative consequences and grave repercussions, to the extent of posing a real threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque, in spite of its significance and sanctity to our Islamic Ummah.
This operation must receive support, and there should be a clear stance by Muslims. Where is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation?! Why don't they gather and take serious positions?! Where is the Arab League?! Why don't they gather and take serious positions?! There is a significant weakness, retreat, and great negligence, even at the level of routine positions, even in terms of statements and condemnations from many Arab countries, many of which have weak, hesitant, and appeasing positions.
As for the position of those who have normalized relations with the Israeli enemy, it is a shameful position that reveals their loyalty to the Israeli enemy and their great offenses against the Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin. They talk about the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, Palestinian factions, and Palestinian resistance movements as if they had no cause. They treat Palestine as if were a piece of land belonging to Iran, as if those Arabs had come to fight on behalf of Iran. The land of Palestine is an Arab land in the first place, even though the entire Muslim world is concerned about this issue, because there is a Muslim nation there, as well as a cause that concerns all Muslims, not to mention the Islamic holy sites there. Despite all the suffering endured by the Palestinian people, they speak of them as if they had no right or cause, as if no injustice were done to them, as if they did that out of mere curiosity or for serving other sides. However, it is certain that the decision in this operation (Operation Aqsa Flood) is a Palestinian decision, possessing clear legitimacy and rights. Both the enemy and the friend were surprised by it. It is a pure Palestinian decision derived by a clear grievance witnessed by the whole world and a clear just cause. There is absolutely no ambiguity in it. Therefore, it is the duty of Muslims to have a clear stance.
Then at all levels, the peoples themselves must have a heard voice. Our beloved Yemeni people had a heard and clear voice from the very first day, since the beginning of this operation and what followed, and this voice will continue, Allah willing.
Our Yemeni people are present to do everything they can in fulfilling their sacred duty, standing alongside the Palestinian people and their heroic and free mujahidin. The participation of our people in massive demonstrations and marches expressed this stance.
We had hoped that we were neighboring Palestine, and if it were possible for us, our people would have immediately sent hundreds of thousands of mujahidin to directly participate with the Palestinian people. Our people are ready to mobilize hundreds of thousands of mujahidin and to go to Palestine and join the Palestinian people in this holy jihad against the Zionist enemy. We need a way, and our people are ready to send hundreds of thousands of mujahidin to go to Palestine. We have geographical challenges, and we have obstacles in moving large numbers of our people to reach there. But regardless of the obstacles, we will not hesitate to do everything we can, to do everything possible, and to do everything within our capabilities.
The axis of jihad and resistance... Red lines and open options
We are in complete coordination with our brothers in the axis of jihad and resistance to do everything that we can and that is within our power to do. This coordination has red lines and specific levels for events, including if the United States directly steps in militarily, as it is currently providing support to the Israeli enemy—if it steps in, we are prepared to participate, even at the level of missile strikes, drones, and military options to the extent of our capabilities.
There are also red lines regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip. We are in complete coordination with our brothers in the axis of jihad and resistance in this matter, and we are ready to intervene with all our capabilities. We will strive, Allah willing, to have that kind of options that contribute to making a significant impact in reality within the framework of our coordination with our brothers in the axis of jihad and resistance.
Regarding the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip and in Palestine as a whole, we say to them: You are not alone. Our people are by your side, and the free people of this nation are by your side. Do not pay attention to the media campaigns, the exaggeration, and the sensationalism. This grand operation (May Allah bless you in it) is a signal from Allah (the Almighty) for the beginning of a new phase in which He will grant you more support, assistance, and victory. It is, Allah willing, an indication of the approaching divine relief.
We will, Allah willing, be in a state of constant follow-up and continuous coordination with our brothers in the axis, with our mujahidin brothers in Palestine. We will be, Allah willing, ready to participate within the framework of this coordination according to the planned levels within the context of this battle, Allah willing.
We affirm our position and also condemn and denounce all the actions of those who normalize relations, including their insults in the media towards the Palestinian people, their free individuals, and their heroic mujahidin. Such actions include discouragement, and an attempt to keep the Arabs and the Muslims in general from adopting serious stances.
Furthermore, at the humanitarian level, there is evident indifference, even in terms of humanitarian support, from countries that possess immense capabilities. These countries scatter their wealth in serving the Americans, Israelis, and Western societies, while they miserly withhold humanitarian support for the oppressed Palestinian people.
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to grant victory to the Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin, to support them, aid them, guide them, and grant them success. We also pray for guidance and success for us to fulfill our duty properly towards this grievance and this great cause, which is the cause of the entire Ummah. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing of supplication.
