Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on the Latest Developments

I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Allah (the Almighty) said in the Holy Quran, {'The believers fight in the cause of Allah, whereas the disbelievers fight in the cause of Taghut. So fight against the Auliya of Shaytan. Indeed, Shaytan's schemes are ever weak'}. Allah, the Most High, the Almighty, speaks the truth.
For 244 days, in the 35th week, at the end of the eighth month, the allies of Shaytan, the supporters of Taghut, the bearers of falsehood, oppression, and criminality—the aggressive Zionists—continue their war and aggression of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
More than 3,305 massacres of genocide against the Palestinian people have taken place, resulting in a total number of martyrs, missing persons, wounded, and captives in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank amounting to around 144,400 Palestinians. In this week alone, the brutal Israeli Zionist killing machine has caused the martyrdom and injury of approximately 2,100 persons from the Palestinian people in Gaza, mostly women and children, in 35 savage massacres that have spread across the entire Strip.
In addition to committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip and continuing its assaults in the West Bank, the Israeli enemy also continues its targeting of Al-Quds through its settlement activities aimed at occupying the city. Approximately 400 housing units have been built in east Al-Quds. Furthermore, on Wednesday, the criminal Zionists stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in their commemoration of the annual anniversary of the occupation of Al-Quds in 1967: In a march that was protected by the so-called 'police', over 1,200 Jews, referred to as settlers, who are criminals and usurpers, stormed and desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They performed their rituals and superstitions during these intrusions, which included dances. They also chanted offensive slogans against the Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets (PBUH&F), in complete disregard for all members of the Islamic world, all Muslims, and in defiance of everyone. Additionally, they made statements and chants asserting their occupation, control, and provocation of Muslims, deliberately insulting Islam and Muslims, openly expressing their hostility towards Islam, the Prophet of Islam, the Quran, and Muslims, as well as their position regarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Yesterday, Wednesday, also marked the anniversary of what is known as the Naksa , which occurred on June 5, 1967. On that day, the Israeli enemy occupied the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rest of the West Bank. The Israeli enemy declared its aggressive war on four Arab countries: Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria. In six days, it controlled approximately 70 thousand square kilometers of Arab lands in occupied Palestine, Syria, and Egypt, an area three times bigger than what it occupied in 1948.
After that setback, the Arabs held an Arab meeting at the official level to declare what they called their 'three noes': no reconciliation, no negotiations, no recognition. However, it is unfortunate that none of these noes remains true today. Even the Sudanese regime abandoned those three noes. That defeat in that setback had a very negative impact in terms of reinforcing a state of despair and frustration, a sense of shame and disgrace in the Arab milieu at the time, and a psychological defeat, which was only broken by the spirit of resistance, which achieved victories and broke the backbone of the Zionist aggression.
When we compare what happened then during six days and what is happening now over eight months in the Gaza Strip and see that the Zionist enemy has not been able to achieve any real victory in the Gaza Strip during eight months against the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, which is a geographically limited area under blockaded, this gives us a clearer understanding. This is true especially when considering the huge difference between what happened in the six-day war, in which the enemy gained control of the Gaza Strip and won the battle in limited hours, and what has been taking place for eight months, as it is in a state of total confusion and a disgraceful scandal and experiences a state of despair that spreads among many of those who are affiliated with the enemy entity. The resistance has reversed all the defeats that the enemy had established in the psyche of Arabs, starting from the uprising in 1988, the disgraceful withdrawal of the enemy's army from Lebanon in 2000, the 2006 war, the Sword of Quds, and other battles fought by the resistance against the enemy. The resistance brought the enemy into a state of defeat and forced it to turn back in humiliation and accept its conditions at the end of every escalation in which the enemy set goals that it couldn't achieve. This is something clear and evident, and it contains important lessons for the Arab peoples and for the regimes if they want to benefit and review those events to draw lessons and insights from them.
The Naksa of 1967 is a real example of the enemy's greed for Arab lands, from which it was only driven out by the force of arms and resistance. The enemy itself is not settling for specific borders or boundaries. At the time, when Ben-Gurion (one of the enemy's senior criminals) was asked about where the borders of Israel did end, he said that their borders would end wherever the last Israeli soldier's boot could reach. In other words, they have big ambitions that can only be deterred by taking serious action and rendering them powerless through showing courage and resistance and remaining steadfast and resilient in a way that prevents them from expanding according to their ambitions.
Despite the comparison one can make between what the Arab armies possessed at that time (hundreds of aircraft, thousands of tanks and armoured vehicles, and hundreds of thousands of soldiers who could not withstand for six days, as those countries declared their humiliating defeat and their acceptance of the ceasefire resolution) and what the Palestinian resistance currently possesses (only light and medium weapons and the available locally manufactured missiles), despite this level of capabilities, we and the whole world can still see the great blow and the serious defeat the Israeli enemy is suffering, as well as the great, resounding failure and defeat acknowledged by its leaders and media outlets.
As the Israeli enemy continues its crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people, the American role as a partner in these crimes (each and every one of them) also continues. With American bombs, the children of the Palestinian people are killed, and their homes are destroyed. The American cooperation, just as it includes weapons, also encompasses the political aspect and covers all areas. Therefore, what happened this week when a senior official at the US State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration resigned due to the scandal of the US Department of State when it falsified a report submitted by that employee, partially blaming the Zionist enemy responsible for the famine in Gaza. The Department of State falsified it to absolve the Zionists of the consequences of starving the Palestinian people. Indeed, they try to ensure that there is no dissenting voice within America against the American policy, which adopts the Israeli position, supports it, and participates in it.
Additionally, the US House of Representatives has voted in favour of passing a bill that sanctions International Criminal Court officials. That means the Americans, who have often portrayed themselves as respecting judicial institutions through their titles and slogans, have now decided to sanction a court, its employees, its judges , and its officials. The bill imposes sanctions on individuals involved in any efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute any person protected by the United States and its allies. The sanctions include bans on American real estate transactions and the ban and cancellation of visas. The Americans are trying to counter any role that exerts pressure on the Israeli enemy and supports the Palestinian people at any level, including the legal, judicial, political, and media levels.
The Americans also continue to suppress student movements in American universities, hindering the effort of those students who are trying to continue their activism for the Palestinian people in the injustice they experience and demand an end to the genocide against the Palestinian people. This week, students reestablished their encampment at Columbia University (from where the protests originated), a month after the sit-in was dispersed, in a significant symbol for persistence despite all repressive measures such as arrests, expulsions, and severe harassment faced by the students due to their ongoing sit-ins and demonstrations. The Americans are attempting to put an end to these student activities and movements in universities.
Additionally, other universities in America and Europe have witnessed police raids with police dogs to disperse sit-ins, assault students with beating, and arrest them in a harsh and humiliating manner.
As part of their supportive activities for the Israeli enemy on the political front, the Americans launched an initiative this week and designed it in a way that serves the Israeli enemy and deviates from what any initiative should be—one that meets the objective, legitimate, just conditions for ending the aggression on the Gaza Strip, for the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from the Strip, for also the sufficient and needed entry of aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip, and for conducting a complete and comprehensive exchange deal. However, the Americans have put forward an initiative that apparently aims to provide additional political cover and support for the Israeli enemy, to deal with the American embarrassment and the isolation faced by the American and Israeli positions in front of other countries around the world that are demanding an end to the aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The Americans are exposed in all their efforts, which aim to provide political support for the Israeli enemy and to offer cover for the continuation of the genocide and the blockade that intensifies day by day and clearly results in starving the Palestinian people and threatening the lives of children due to the lack of sufficient food.
In the face of all this, the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip, on all fronts of combat, persist in their resilience, confrontation against the Israeli enemy, steadfastness, and bravery. Despite the magnitude of the aggression, destruction, and devastation and despite the level of crimes committed by the Zionist enemy and the severity of the blockade imposed on them, they continue to confront with courage and inflict direct losses on the enemy's forces, killing and wounding its forces. The outcome for the entire month of May is significant in terms of the number of those killed and wounded among the enemy's army. They also, with great effectiveness, confront the Israeli enemy by destroying and targeting military vehicles of all types. Over the past week, they have targeted dozens of vehicles, carried out ambushes and sniper operations, as well as operations targeting the enemy with mortar shells and missile barrages. So their operations are ongoing, qualitative, and successful, inflicting losses on the Israeli enemy in all aspects, be it in terms of its human forces, machinery, or capabilities.
Regarding the supporting fronts, starting with Hezbollah's front in southern Lebanon, to the north of occupied Palestine, Hezbollah's operations are escalating in terms of quantity and quality, and they are effective and impactful on the Israeli enemy. They target Israeli officers and soldiers, as well as their military equipment. They also target the colonies in northern Palestine, which have been widely and extensively affected by fires, reaching around fifty locations where fires broke out, to the extent that the Zionist criminal Yair Lapid described that by saying that the north is burning and the Zionist deterrence is burning with it. This is a clear and explicit acknowledgment of the effectiveness and impact of Hezbollah's operations and the ferocity of these operations. Similarly, the one they call the 'mayor of Nahariya' described the situation by saying that Israel is in trouble and in a disastrous situation. The impact of Hezbollah's operations is very significant, affecting the reality of the Israeli enemy in general, as well as the northern part of Palestine.
Regarding the front of Iraq, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced the execution of several operations during this week, including ones towards Umm Al-Rashrash, which the enemy calls Eilat, and towards the shores of the Dead Sea, as well as towards Haifa.
Still, the very important development is the launch of joint operations between the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, by carrying out an important operation at dawn today towards the port of Haifa, on the Mediterranean Sea, as this path of the joint operations will be an important and strategic path and will be on an upward trajectory, Allah willing. And I send my greetings to the brothers in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, and this important course of action will, Allah willing, provide a good example of cooperation between the sons of Islam and in their joint operations that are within the framework of Jihad in the cause of Allah, the Almighty. Allah willing, these operations will have a great impact on the enemies and come as part of the fourth stage of escalation.
Regarding the front of Yemen (the Yemen of Faith, Wisdom, and Jihad), at the level of military operations during this week, the statistic of supporting operations carried out in this week alone, in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad and within the framework of the fourth stage of escalation, has reached, by the grace of Allah (the Almighty), eleven operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, and towards Umm Al-Rashrash, south of occupied Palestine, with thirty-six ballistic and cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
One of the important developments in the operations of this week was the introduction of a new missile system into service. The name of this missile is Palestine. Manufacturing this missile took into account the requirements of the fourth stage, at the technical level and the range level. By the grace of Allah (the Almighty), this missile will have a significant impact on the enemies. That is because calculations related to the technical aspect have been taken into account, as well as the problems of interception that sometimes several countries cooperate in, so this missile is distinctive at the technical level and at the level of long range as well, which meets the requirements of the fourth stage of escalation.
Among these operations, there have been operations that targeted eight ships affiliated and belonging to the Americans and ships belonging to companies that violated the decision to ban entry into the occupied Palestinian ports. The most prominent and important operations during this week have been two operations targeting the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower in the northern Red Sea. Within twenty-four hours, it was targeted with seven cruise missiles and four drones, and in the wake of these two operations, the American aircraft carrier retreated and moved towards the north of the Red Sea. It retreated and changed its position, moving away from that area for fear of being targeted by our armed forces. During the targeting, it was at a distance of four hundred kilometers from the coasts of Yemen and then moved away to about eight hundred and eighty kilometers northwest of Jeddah. It stopped there parallel to Jeddah, and the takeoff of aircraft from it stopped for two days after it was targeted. The targeting operation was successful, and it had this important impact: forcing the aircraft carrier to escape far from the area it was in during the targeting and change its direction. In fact, this happens in every strike to the targeted ships: When the targeting operation is successful, they flee and change their direction. One can notice this, thanks to monitoring through the available devices and technologies.
The Americans tried to deny this targeting and to downplay it, due to their feeling of embarrassment, defeat, and losing their prestige. They are affected by such operations, which affect the level of influence and the level of fear they once created among the countries of the region. Due to their keenness to maintain their influence and prestige and to keep the state of fear towards them dominant in the Islamic world, they tried to downplay the operation, but the American aircraft carrier will remain a target for our armed forces. It will be targeted whenever the opportunity arises. No matter how much the American tries to deny this, the truth will come out, and the coming strikes, Allah willing, will be larger and more effective and impactful. This is also among the important developments in the operations of this week.
Regarding the monthly statistics, as today is the last day of the month of Dhu Al-Qadah, at the level of operations, the supporting operations carried out during the month of Dhu Al-Qadah, in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad and within the framework of the fourth stage of escalation, have reached (by the grace of Allah, the Almighty) thirty-eight operations in the Red Sea, the Arab Sea, the Indian Ocean, all the way to the Mediterranean Sea, and also towards the south of the occupied Palestinian territories, with ninety-one ballistic and cruise missiles and drones. Therefore, the result during this month is a good result at the level of military operations carried out through targeting with cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones and by the naval forces, too.
As for the position of the enemy and the American and British aggression against our country, today also marks the end of the fifth month since the beginning of the American and British aggression launched against our country in support of the Israeli enemy and with the aim of supporting it in continuing the crimes of genocide and the blockade against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Indeed, this is the goal of the aggression against our country: America and Britain have committed aggression against our country to support the Israeli enemy, to protect its interests at sea, and to secure it so that it can continue its crimes of genocide without disturbance.
The airstrikes and naval bombardment during this week have reached seventeen airstrikes, which resulted in the martyrdom of fifteen persons—they were martyred in the aggression on Al-Hudaydah Governorate. The airstrikes targeted several governorates, including Al-Hudaydah, Sana'a, and Taiz, leading to the martyrdom of fifteen persons and the injury of forty-three persons in Al-Hudaydah Governorate. Also, buildings were destroyed, including the radio building in Al-Hudaydah and a building belonging to the coast guard in Al-Hudaydah as well.
As for the statistics of the American and British air and naval bombardment operations since announcing their aggression against our country, from the date of 1 Rajab 1445 AH and until the end of this month (the month of Dhu Al-Qadah), the American and British air and naval bombardment operations on our country reached four hundred and eighty-seven airstrikes and naval bombardments. In these operations, fifty-five persons were martyred, and also seventy-eight were wounded in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad.
Both America and Britain are continuing their aggression militarily, and each of them also knows that they are failing and that even if their military operations have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of some, they will never affect our position, which is a principled, humanitarian, moral, and faith-based position. We will never back down from this position no matter what, regardless of the level of military escalation from the American and British sides, and regardless of any conspiracies by the Americans in other fields, including the economic field. The Americans are also trying to practice aggression and severe pressure on our country through economic pressure, not satisfied with what they have practiced in putting pressure on the United Nations to stop the humanitarian aid, which was for the benefit of the poor, the hungry, the destitute, and those suffering among our dear people because of the ongoing aggression on our country for years. They are trying through their proxies to practice more pressure steps on the living conditions and the economic situation of our dear Yemeni people. But regardless of the conspiracies of the enemies, we, with the help of Allah (the Almighty), will strive to confront them, with our trust in Allah, our reliance on Him, and our dependence on Him. We also have our own options and measures and possess pressure cards against the enemies. We will do what we need to do.
Therefore, we advise and warn all those whom the Americans attempt to involve and recruit to serve the Israeli enemy and its interests, not to get involved. That is because it is of significant loss for any Arab regime or entity to entangle itself in a tremendous problem to serve the Israeli enemy. This is the manifest loss, a loss in this world and a loss in the Hereafter. This is so because when any party that America involves in order to recruit it to serve Israel and take steps that constitute an aggression against our dear people for the sake of the Israeli enemy will face a reaction from us, and we will not stand idly in the face of targeting our dear people, whether it is at the economic level or the military level. The losers are those who involve themselves in serving Israel, supporting the Israeli enemy, supporting the allies of Shaytan, and supporting criminals, oppressors, and aggressors who commit the most heinous crimes, including genocide against the Palestinian people.
Our dear people remain steadfast in their position because it is based on their faith, in which they trust in Allah (the Almighty) and in His promise of victory. Since the beginning of taking this position, our dear people have witnessed the assistance and support of Allah (Glory be to Him) and the significant effectiveness of the Yemeni operations, which undoubtedly results from the assistance and support of Allah, as well as the clear impact these operations have on the enemies: the economic impact of these operations on the Israeli enemy, America, and Britain. This impact and effectiveness is achieved through the victory granted by Allah (the Almighty) and His assistance and support. For sure, Allah (the Almighty) has spoken the truth when He said in the Holy Quran, {'And Allah will surely grant victory to those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, Almighty'}. Within the framework of this principled and Jihad-based position, which is a form of Jihad in the cause of Allah (the Almighty) and support for the oppressed and aggrieved Muslim Palestinian people, we trust in Allah (Glory be to Him), as well as His truthful promise that never changes or goes unfulfilled. At the same time, we are ready to sacrifice, remain steadfast, be patient, and endure the suffering, regardless of the magnitude of the suffering we might face within this honourable, humanitarian, and moral position which our dear people take pride in and pass it on to future generations. It is also a source of great honour before the whole world, where our dear people present a great example about fidelity and Islam, as well as humanity in its true sense.
We hold fast to this position, and through our adherence to it, we are assured of Allah's victory and the fulfillment of His promise, for He is the One who said, {'If you support Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold'}. Within this position, there must be patience, continuity, and steadfastness. It was great that our dear people went out to the streets in millions last Friday, after hours of the American aggression and American and British escalation that resulted in the falling of martyrs and their attainment of martyrdom. Popular activities at all levels continue with major, great momentum.
Public activities (which include marches, demonstrations, events, public gatherings, night assemblies, and seminars) have reached over half a million. There was an increase of 72,232, including demonstrations, public gatherings, night assemblies, events, and other activities. This is an incredibly large number, and as we have reiterated in previous speeches, it is unprecedented and expresses the deep faith, awareness, sense of responsibility, and living human conscience that our dear people possess.
Regarding the training outputs of the mobilization forces, the number has reached 352,038 trainees, and this is an extremely important path, as it aligns with the saying of Allah (the Almighty), {'Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power'}. The activities of manoeuvers, military marches, and parades have also reached 1,885 activities. This is also an extremely important and active path.
Therefore, public activities will continue at all levels, and whenever the enemies try to put pressure on our dear people to back down from their position or to confuse them in their position—in fact, they are working in all directions, at the media level, the political level, and the economic level; and the matter is clear and evident: Their goal in all of this is to put pressure on our dear people to back down from their great and honourable position, which grants us salvation before Allah (Glory be to Him) and is considered a great triumph, honour, grace, and blessing bestowed by Him. However, our dear people with their faith in Allah; with their human conscience; with their morals, values, and tribal ethics; and with their honour, freedom, and dignity will never retreat from this position. We will remain steadfast in this position because it is a fundamental position and constitutes an essential and fundamental part of our faith, religion, dignity, freedom, and humanity. And we hold fast to it no matter what happens. We are also confident in the victory granted by Allah (Glory be to Him). Moreover, we continuously develop our military capabilities, and the Palestine missile is a witness to that. In fact, what will also result from the joint operations between the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq also comes in the context of development and escalation. And we will meet the enemies' escalation with escalation while having full confidence, reassurance, steadfastness, trust in Allah (Glory be to Him), great hope for His victory, and certainty that His promise will be fulfilled: {'Allah does not fail in His promise, but most people do not know'}.
I ask Allah to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and to grant us victory. O Allah (Glory be to You), have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. You are All-Hearing!
