Speech by Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Launch of Summer Courses and Activities
&
 the Latest Developments

The 6th of Shawwal 1446 A.H.

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

With the launch of the summer activities and courses, we will focus our speech on three main subjects:

  • The first part of our speech sheds light on the developments regarding the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the brutal criminal attacks in the West Bank, the ongoing violation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the continuous assaults by the Israeli enemy on Lebanon and in Syria.
  • The second part highlights the American aggression against our country, which is in support of the Israeli enemy and as a participation with it in its aggression.
  • The third part is about the summer courses.

Part One: The Israeli aggression against Gaza and the West Bank and the violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque!

Regarding the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the brutal, criminal practices of the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people attest to the truthfulness of Allah's saying, {'They do not observe any bond or treaty with the believers. It is they who are the transgressors'}. The Israeli enemy is committing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It has violated the agreement in which the Americans, among others, were guarantors and were supposed to ensure its adherence. It did not fulfil its obligations concerning the first phase of the agreement and did not proceed to the second phase, completely breaching the agreement. Then it resumed its aggression against the Gaza Strip, starting with the prevention of food and medicine from entering and once again resorting to starving the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

For over a month now, it has been committing this grave crime against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Now, after more than a month, bakeries have been shut down. International organisations, including those affiliated with the United Nations and others, are speaking out and bearing witness to the famine in the Gaza Strip, as well as to the exhaustion of wheat and flour from those bakeries that used to distribute bread to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The same is happening regarding medicines, including essential drugs, such as anesthetics. The Israeli enemy has been perpetrating this significant crime of starvation for more than a month, and it has prevented food and medicine from reaching the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

For over two weeks now, it has also resumed the acts of genocide, with the mass killing of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It has been targeting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip with American-made bombs, those bombs provided by the Americans to exterminate the Palestinian people and to kill women and children. It is targeting the civilians while they are in their tents or amidst the ruins of their destroyed homes. Using these bombs, it is brutally killing children and women, the elderly and the young. An example of that is yesterday's massacre when it targeted Dar Al-Arqam School in the Gaza Strip, which was overflowing with displaced individuals, with the intention of exterminating them.

The Israeli enemy is committing all types of crimes. It has resumed this aggression for over two weeks now, continuing the same criminal behaviour it practised for fifteen months of aggression against the Gaza Strip, prior to the recent agreement. It has come to resume the same criminality, brutality, and aggression, without any restrictions and with no regard for any considerations. It is a barbaric, criminal enemy that operates without restraint. It does not abide by laws, by United Nations charters, or by agreements. It shows no respect for morals, values, or anything else at all. It is committing the most heinous crimes with the utmost ferocity and aggression.

Its crimes also focus on targeting the humanitarian effort: It openly fights against the humanitarian effort, along with everything related to it. For instance, it targets the staff and workers in the humanitarian field, making them a primary target. This has reached the extent of kidnapping fifteen humanitarian aid workers, binding them, executing them in cold blood, throwing them into a pit, and finally covering them with dirt. It is a brutal crime in every sense of the word!

This is how the Israeli enemy excels in perpetrating crimes against the Palestinian people. It tries to deny them all means of life and to obstruct any humanitarian service at all levels: relief, medical assistance, emergency aid, food provision by kitchens and bakeries, water wells, and so forth. Indeed, this is a truly brutal aggression, where the Israeli enemy commits all types of crimes, each reflecting the very essence of savagery. What emboldens it to do so is the American role.

The American role in everything the Israeli enemy does is fundamental and dangerous. Alongside the Israeli enemy, the Americans bear the primary responsibility for everything happening in the Gaza Strip and throughout Palestine: in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and elsewhere. That is because they are really partners in the aggression and in the crimes. They provide weapons and bombs. Those bombs that are dropped on tents to kill gathered displaced individuals and on the ruins of destroyed homes and lead to the deaths of women and children are American-made bombs that have been supplied for the purpose of this atrocity.

The Americans publicly, clearly, and explicitly endorse what the Israeli enemy is doing; they have declared that. When the Israeli enemy resumed its aggression against the Gaza Strip, the White House declared its support for it, stating that it had been consulted on the matter and that it endorsed the actions of the Israeli enemy. In other words, the White House fully supports that aggression, so the Americans are partners with the Israeli enemy in its aggression against the Palestinian people. Moreover, they provide the Israeli enemy with protection and all forms of support to carry out its actions. All what is happening in Palestine (in the West Bank, in Al-Quds, and in the Gaza Strip) is endorsed and sponsored by the Americans, who provide an open, comprehensive support for the Israeli enemy.

Moreover, what the Israeli enemy is doing in the West Bank constitutes a serious act of aggression and involves aggressive operations aimed at displacement. In fact, these operations are meant to achieve this displacement in stages, starting with the camps, as what happened in the Jenin camp, which was a complete catastrophe that affected the entire camp. It is evident that the Israeli enemy is planning a widespread displacement from the West Bank.

Furthermore, the Israeli enemy continues its violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, infringing upon its sanctity and desecrating it. What the Zionist criminal Ben Gvir has done recently falls within this context. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is consistently targeted, and the ongoing organised incursions by the Israeli enemy clearly demonstrate the aggressive Israeli attitude against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a sanctity for all Muslims (indeed one of their greatest sanctities), the destiny of the night journey of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&F), and one of the two Qiblas . Therefore, the Israeli enemy acts as it does in an aggressive and escalatory manner, aiming to displace the Palestinian people and to exterminate the Palestinian cause. Consequently, the Ummah faces two threats: the horrific and terrible crimes committed by the Israeli enemy and the objective behind these actions, which is the extermination of the Palestinian cause and the displacement of the Palestinian people. This all occurs with American partnership and endorsement—the Americans fully support and sponsor what the Israeli enemy is doing.

The Israelis carrying out their aggression against Lebanon and violating Syria while relying on American support

Relying on this American support, the Israeli enemy continues its aggression against the Lebanese people:

  • It commits continuous acts of aggression.
  • It clearly and explicitly violates the agreement, even with significant transgressions.
  • It has not completed its withdrawal from Lebanese territory and still occupies areas in Lebanon.
  • Simultaneously, it persistently violates Lebanese airspace.
  • At the same time, its aggressive airstrikes have not ceased, resulting in killings across wide areas, reaching as far as Beirut.

It continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty, to kill the Lebanese people, and to carry out assaults in all their forms.

At the same time, in Syria, its airstrikes continue to take place unabated, even in Damascus and other Syrian provinces. It has occupied vast areas and divided southern Syria into three classifications:

  • The first classification is a buffer zone.
  • The second classification is a security zone.
  • The third classification is an influence zone.

As a result, it has reached the outskirts of Damascus, the countryside of Damascus, at a distance of 22 kilometers from the city. Thus, it has effectively extended its control over three governorates in southern Syria: Quneitra, Daraa, and Sweida, extending to the countryside of Damascus.

On the other hand, the Americans are advancing and infiltrating, and they have reached Al-Dumayr in the Damascus countryside, specifically to the airbase there, where they have established control. Their troops are backed by Syrian formations with laughable names—'Democratic Syria', 'Free Syria', 'the Army of the Heroes'. What freedom, what democracy, and what heroes are they talking about when they are merely serving to protect the American army, which occupies vast areas of Syria?!

The situation in Syria is that it has ended up being violated by the Israelis (who have advanced from the south to the countryside of Damascus) and by the Americans (who have moved in from the direction of the Badiyah to Al-Dumayr, on the opposite side of the Damascus countryside).

The takfiri groups there have no concern or purpose other than killing civilians—peaceful, unarmed individuals—and committing genocide against them. They inactively watch what the Israeli enemy is doing (including killings, airstrikes, and destruction) without any serious or practical effort to respond to it, stop its occupation, or halt its aggression against the Syrian people. What is happening in Syria also carries a significant lesson for the rest of the Arab countries. We will speak about this point later.

Anyway, relying on American protection, partnership, and permission, the Israeli enemy commits its acts of aggression and conducts itself in this unrestrained, barbaric manner. It holds no regard for anything: not for agreements, obligations, laws, international covenants, or any other consideration whatsoever. It grants itself the right to do whatever it wants and wishes, including aggression, occupation, killing, and violation. It is actively working to entrench an equation of total violation against this Ummah, its peoples, its lands, its resources, and everything. It works to violate the land, honour, and blood of the people of this Ummah—with full American partnership in this endeavour.

What does Israel rely on in its actions in Lebanon? It clearly states that it operates based on American permission, as if the Americans were the owners! It also relies on American permission and support in what it does in the Gaza Strip. This has reached an extent that it declares its intent to implement the Trump plan. Indeed, it is clear that the plan actually aims at displacing the Palestinian people. The Israeli plan revealed by senior Zionist criminals aims to sever the Gaza Strip into isolated parts, separating Rafah from Khan Younis and doing the same across the rest of the Strip: a separation of the Gaza Strip and its regions from one another. That will be followed by the imposition of further blockade, killing, and restrictions, while opening the door to what they call 'voluntary migration'. What voluntary migration are they talking about when American bombs are being dropped on the Palestinian people in their tents and on the ruins of their destroyed homes? What voluntary migration are they talking about while the Palestinians are being starved?! Does this method give the Palestinian people an option whether to stay or to leave?! Or is it, in fact, forced displacement?!

Concerning what the Israeli enemy is doing in the West Bank, as seen in the Jenin Camp, is it voluntary migration or forced displacement?! If forced displacement were not launching lethal, destructive American bombs on the displaced in their camps (in flimsy tents), starving them, depriving them of food, denying them medicine, and committing crimes of genocide even with cold blood, then what is forced displacement?! The Israeli enemy carries out aerial, ground, and naval attacks and then claims that it wants to implement the plan of Trump (the criminal and infidel) for voluntary displacement from the Gaza Strip.

In any case, what the Israeli enemy is doing is an incredibly savage, criminal, and brutal aggression. It has returned to its same criminal and barbaric attitude, with the same level of escalation that it maintained for fifteen months. Its objectives are extremely dangerous, and the Americans play a fundamental role in what is happening due to the role they play as a financer, protector, and partner and their open and explicit sponsorship of displacement itself.

The danger of silence in the face of this tragedy & a call for the free people of the world to stand in solidarity!

In the face of what is happening in Palestine, in the face of this great tragedy that the Palestinian people are enduring, and in the face of that level of barbaric criminality and genocide committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people, it is absolutely unacceptable for all of this to turn into a routine occurrence that people merely watch, with regimes limiting their response to only issuing statements of condemnation and denunciation. This is absolutely unacceptable. In fact, when such events are met with such silence and turn into daily scenes that peoples, especially Arabs, have grown accustomed to, then this will numb the human conscience. It is a betrayal of all principles, values, morals, laws, and divine teachings. It paves the way for savagery, barbarism, unrestrained tyranny, and full-scale criminality to dominate and prevail in the region and the world. This poses a danger to all peoples, and it is an extremely serious matter first and foremost for Muslims, especially for Arabs more than others, and on a global scale as well. In addition, this is so dangerous that it invites the punishment of Allah (the Almighty) as it contributes to these acts of such an extremely horrific savagery and criminality.

That is why it is essential to return to global activism and mobilisation once again, just as they were during the fifteen months of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle or even more intensely. This applies to those activities once held by those with a human conscience who used to express this humanitarian voice across countries and among peoples worldwide, whether humanitarian activists in America, Europe, Australia, or other continents. It is crucial that people take to the streets once again to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and call for an end to the genocide and the forced displacement efforts against the Palestinian people. There should be widespread action in various countries at a global level. It is also important that people exert pressure on the governments of those countries to adopt humanitarian policies in support of the Palestinian people and take action to prevent this barbarity, tyranny, and criminality and seek to isolate both the Israeli and American enemies for their unrestrained, criminal approach that is savage and barbaric.

This time, this issue must not turn into a state of silence that spreads across all countries, despite the well-known official movement in America to suppress any activity expressing the humanitarian voice and solidarity with the Palestinian people. Furthermore, there is pressure on immigrant communities and activists in universities to the extent that some have been deported. The same is true in European countries, especially in Germany: The German authorities are following the Americans' lead in further tightening restrictions on activists and threatening to deport them—in fact, they have already deported some of them. Nonetheless, there must be widespread action.

There is a threat endangering humanity, the human conscience, and human values worldwide. Both the Americans and the Israelis are steering human society towards the law of the jungle, towards savagery and a complete rejection of everything: all regulations, customs, values, and ethics. They aim for a reign of barbarism, brutality, criminality, and tyranny, with no regard left for any values, ethics, or regulations. As we have said, this situation poses a great threat to human society, transforming the entire global arena into a jungle where there are no values, regulations, laws, systems, or ethics—nothing at all.

At the level of international institutions, they should also be reminded of their responsibilities, have the argument laid against them, and be pressured to adopt more serious positions.

Why does the United Nations not expel the Israeli enemy? It committed a grave crime and took on a heavy burden when it recognised the usurping Israeli entity in Palestine, accepting it as a state and a member thereof. Why does it not withdraw that recognition?

Similarly, although the Security Council is a council of the arrogant that does not at all care for the oppressed, it should see some movement. The Israeli enemy and the Americans become disturbed when there is action here and there, on every platform, from every quarter, and from all organisations, calling for stronger positions.

The duty of everyone to remind the Ummah of its responsibility towards the tragedy of the Palestinian People!

In the Islamic world, Muslims must be reminded of their responsibilities. It is the responsibility of religious scholars, elites, intellectuals, educators, instructors, and preachers in mosques, as well as everyone else, including cultural and media institutions—it is the duty of all to remind the people of the Islamic world of their religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities, considering also their national security as an ummah. Everyone must be reminded of this responsibility; everyone must be urged to act. Silence is dangerous, and remaining silent is dangerous: It is in itself a sin and a burden given what is happening. The Ummah must be constantly roused.

Regimes must also be reminded of their responsibility. Their ignorance does not exempt them from this responsibility. On the contrary, they will bear the consequences of this neglect, this silence, and their satisfaction with measures that do not truly rise to the required level, such as issuing statements and making certain declarations at times, only occasionally.

Everyone must be reminded of this responsibility at the official and grassroots levels so as to take action even at a minimum level. In fact, the majority of the Ummah (both officially and unofficially) has not adopted a real position. The prevailing state is one of passivity, neglect, and inaction. And this is unacceptable for this Ummah as it has not practically reached the minimum required level of response: What is the percentage of the boycott of American and Israeli goods within this Ummah, among its various peoples, especially among those most inclined to purchase American and Israeli products? It is very limited, consisting mostly of individual initiatives. Had this available, accessible, effective stance been more widely adopted, it would have had a significant impact. This matter must be given proper attention!

Regarding denotations, spending in the cause of Allah, and humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people, there needs to be significant mobilisation within nations for this purpose, and they must be reminded of this responsibility.

In terms of showing solidarity in in every possible form across various countries and peoples, including through the media and cultural activities—rather than being silent and inactive or ignoring what is happening—everyone with even a trace of human conscience, a religious sentiment, or a sense of responsibility, who considers himself a Muslim, should realise that he has a responsibility to do what he can. In fact, the Ummah could achieve much if it approached this matter seriously.

Regimes themselves must take practical steps as to cut their political, economic, and diplomatic ties with the Israeli enemy; support the Palestinian people financially, politically, and through the media; and support our fellow mujahidin in Palestine by changing their negative attitudes towards them and adopting positive, supportive attitudes that show solidarity and encouragement.

The official Arab media must change its negative policy towards our fellow mujahidin in Palestine and also improve its poor performance regarding the Israeli enemy in order to be more explicit in exposing its crimes and in adopting the correct position that reflects humanitarian, religious, and moral values. This position should condemn the Israeli enemy's crimes, expose it, rouse the Ummah against it, and make an impact on global opinion regarding its actions.

Everyone must be mobilised in this regard, be fully aware of his responsibility, and realise that neglecting this religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility will have serious consequences both in this world and in the Hereafter, indeed.

If the prevailing state among people of the Ummah is one of observing and simply waiting to see how matters will unfold, as they wait until the Israeli enemy reaches the point of displacing the Palestinian people, then this spectatorship will have very serious consequences: {'Then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people'}. In other words, it is a major violation of principles, values, morals, religious duties, and faith-based commitments when the position of the Ummah is merely to stand by and wait to see what the consequences of the events will be without taking any position.

Yemen (both at the official and grassroots levels) has declared its position since the Israeli enemy blocked the entry of food and medicine and imposed starvation again on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. We have reverted to our position starting with naval operations, banning the navigation of the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. Furthermore, we have resumed missile and drone strikes deep into occupied Palestine since the Israeli enemy returned to its crimes of genocide and renewed its military aggression on the Gaza Strip. Our dear people have returned to their various activities in support of the Palestinian people, including the massive million-strong demonstrations on the anniversary of the Battle of Badr and on the International Quds Day. After Ramadan, all public activities will resume, and, Allah willing, the million-strong demonstrations will resume next week, along with other very important mobilisation efforts.

The movement of our dear people and Yemen's engagement (at both the official and grassroots levels) with the Palestinian people on every front and in every field, using all available means, has greatly irked the American enemy. That is because it is working with the Israeli enemy to cement a violation-based equation against our Ummah and to isolate the Palestinian people, without any genuine reaction, collaboration, or solidarity from any country with the Palestinian people. Therefore, this comprehensive position by Yemen in support of the Palestinian people has profoundly provoked the American enemy.

That is why the Americans, as partners with the Israeli enemy, have launched an aggression against our country. In fact, the Americans are involved in the aggression of the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people. The Americans are also involved in what the Israeli enemy is doing in Lebanon, as they apply political pressure while the Israeli enemy bases its actions there on American permission. It has even declared that it received American permission to remain in those areas while also carrying out attacks. It also bases its actions in Syria on that permission. Moreover, it receives protection, support, and the provision of bombs, weapons, shells, and everything it needs.

The Americans are involved in all this. They and the Israelis are working together under the Zionist project to take new steps as part of their equation of violation. Therefore, they become furious when they see anyone adopting a free position that rejects violation and refuses to submit or be subjugated by the Americans and Israelis and the enormous tyranny and criminality they are inflicting on our Ummah in Palestine and elsewhere.

Part Two: The American aggression against our country—Objectives and consequences!

In the second part of this speech, we address the American aggression against our country. This aggression, as we mentioned, is part of the battle and comes in the context of their support for the Israeli enemy. In fact, the battle is basically between us and the Israeli enemy. We have declared our comprehensive position, which includes military support for the Palestinian people. So our position is directed against the Israeli enemy.

As partners with the Israeli enemy, the Americans have declared their aggression on our country and have been the ones who initiated their assault against our country. And with utter brutality and criminality, they escalate and intensify their attacks and target civilian property. That is because they truly aim to isolate the Palestinian people, impose the equation of violation in favour of the Israeli enemy, subjugate the entire region to it, and remove any obstacles in its way.

They want everyone to submit to the Israeli enemy so that it becomes their agent and tool in the region, thereby controlling the entire area and executing the Zionist project. In fact, both the Americans and the Israelis pursue the very Zionist project.

As we already mentioned, the Americans are committing crimes and are in a state of aggression against our country, with absolutely no justification whatsoever. Moreover, they are deliberately targeting civilian property, including health centres, water tanks, and other civilian targets, such as communication networks, public government facilities that are administrative and serve the people.

The Americans are escalating their aggression against our country; they are using stealth aircraft and bombers, and they have activated a base in the Indian Ocean, from which they attempt to intensify their airstrikes and assaults, sometimes reaching over ninety raids in a single day. So they are intensifying their aggression and escalation against our country. However, despite all of that, they have failed, thanks to Allah:

  • They did not succeed in affecting our military capabilities.
  • They were not able to stop the military operations in support of the Palestinian people.
  • They failed to ensure the security of Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea.
  • They could not achieve their stated objectives of eliminating leadership and targeting the free people of Yemen.

The Americans are failures, and they will continue to fail, Allah willing. Even in the future, they will not be able to achieve these ominous goals because our people place their trust in Allah, rely on Him, and have a long history of striving in the cause of Allah, the Almighty. The airstrikes and the intense targeting of our country are not new. The Americans themselves oversaw and managed the aggression against our country, which was carried out through their regional tools over the course of eight years of continuous and unlimited escalation, targeting everything in our country. Following that, the aggression continued for fifteen months, and our people were steadfast in their support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, while the Americans continued to carry out airstrikes and attacks relentlessly.

At this stage, the Americans continue their aggression with such a level of escalation. Nevertheless, the reality of the continuation of the operations, the ongoing shelling deep into occupied Palestine against the Israeli enemy, and the continued naval blockade on the Israeli enemy—and the Americans have involved themselves with the Israelis due to their aggression—clearly prove the failure of the Americans, and they have also admitted this failure. In fact, yesterday, American officials from the U.S. Department of Defense admitted their failure in terms of destroying military capabilities: They acknowledged that they failed in this and that they did not achieve their intended goals.

Being in direct confrontation with the Americans and Israelis is what we have always sought!

In the face of this American aggression and bullying, our dear people, as we have said, have a long journey of jihad in the cause of Allah. In fact, we have been in this situation for ten years, which is one of jihad and confrontation of the Americans' tyranny and of all those allied with them in their aggression against our country. What matters most to us is that we have reached this point of direct confrontation with the Israelis and Americans, which is what we have always aimed for throughout the past stages. Our sole hope, which remains unchanged, is for those Arabs who collaborate with the Americans and Israelis to leave us alone and let us face the American and Israeli enemies directly. This current battle is a battle between us and the Israeli enemy, and the Americans are part of this battle: Their battle is not separate in any way, but rather the very same battle between us and the Israeli enemy.

Every day and every night, as we watch on television the horrific Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, when we see some children torn into pieces, other children screaming and crying while soaked in their own blood, and the Palestinian people in Gaza facing such suffering—starvation, killing, destruction, and the prevention of medicine and food from reaching them, among other crimes—when we see the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip and witness the atrocities committed by the Israeli enemy in the West Bank, and when we witness the criminal Zionist Jews violating the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its sanctity by, we see that we have followed this position, which is an honourable position with Allah (the Almighty), and that we are fulfilling our duty and carrying out our responsibility, seeking Allah's help in doing so. And so, we see ourselves not in a state of disgrace—unlike most of the Islamic nation—nor are we among those who stand idly by, watching in silence.

We are fulfilling our duty before Allah (the Almighty), for this is what really matters to us. It matters that we gain Allah’s pleasure and keep away from His wrath, His anger, His curse, and His retribution. We believe that neglecting such a responsibility inevitably invites divine retribution. At the same time, this satisfies our human conscience. We know we are in a position where we are doing all we can, hesitating at nothing within our religious duty, moral obligation, and the bounds of Islamic law.

This brings us peace of mind, assuring us that we are fulfilling our responsibility. And through this, we grow even more confident that we will receive Allah’s care, His aid, His victory, and His support—for this is foremost among the reasons for divine support and assistance: that we strive to fulfil our sacred duties and responsibilities.

We fight in the cause of Allah, the Almighty. Every time we recite the Quran and read its blessed verses commanding us to fight in the cause of Allah (the Almighty), we find ourselves answering that call. We say to all Muslims, to all who associate with Islam, to all who recite the Quran: When will you fight if you do not fight against Israeli tyranny, against Israeli criminality, against Israeli savagery and barbarism? The Israeli enemy is your enemy targeting you in your religion and worldly life. They destroy mosques, tear apart and burn copies of the Quran, and mercilessly kill the Palestinian people—the young and the old, women and children—committing every atrocity, violating every sanctity. This is their creed against you, and their project—the Zionist project—is the same as their scheme in Palestine. When will you feel your responsibility? When will you answer Allah’s call? What will you say to Allah on the Day of Resurrection, O Ummah of two billion Muslims? O Arabs, you who number in the hundreds of millions—a great nation with economic, military, and all other capabilities—what will you say to Allah?

As for us, we are at ease knowing we are acting within this position. We place our trust in Allah. America does not intimidate us, nor do we believe it has become so dominant over the world that it can do as it pleases, deciding the fate of nations at will. It succeeds only against those who submit to it. But for those who rely on Allah, who fulfil their duties and obligations, the matter is different. We trust in Allah, the Almighty. We believe in Him and rely on Him. We do not depend on our own strength or means—they are merely secondary factors. Our complete reliance is on Allah, and we trust in His promise of victory: {'If you support Allah, He will grant you victory'}. For over a decade now, we have been in a state of victory, not defeat—and this is a blessing from Allah, the Almighty.

Therefore, we place our trust in Allah (the Almighty) and rely on Him, and we will continue to support the Palestinian people and maintain our comprehensive position and struggle against the Israeli enemy, while also confronting the Americans, who support and protect the Israeli enemy and participate in its aggression against Palestine and against the peoples of our Ummah. We stand firm in this rightful, correct, wise, and conscious position, which is a response to Allah, guided by the Holy Quran, and rooted in our faith, religion, humanity, and morals. It is an honourable, effective, and impactful position.

By the grace of Allah, we confront American aggression with bravery and effectiveness. The missile forces are fulfilling their duty. The same is true of the drone and air defence forces, as they have, by the grace of Allah, shot down 17 American MQ-9 aircraft since the onset of the Al-Aqsa Flood, which is a significant number and a unique achievement. We have not heard of such a number of downed aircraft by any country in any battle with the Americans. This is an important achievement and a manifestation of Allah's assistance and guidance.

At the level of the people, there is, by the grace of Allah, a tremendous sense of resilience and high morale, accompanied by a drive of faith. No one is paying heed to the voices of those who have adopted a discouraging, disheartening, and skeptical position, for this is the Yemen of faith and the land of the Ansar, those who trust in Allah and rely on Him. We are in an advanced position.

At sea, the aircraft carrier Truman is constantly on the run, and the pursuit of it continues. Therefore, even in their recent escalation, the Americans are relying more than ever on stealth aircraft and bombers coming from bases other than Truman. This is due to the fact that Truman is in a state of continuous pursuit, fleeing towards the far north of the Red Sea, and is constantly on the move. However, the operations carried out against it and other naval vessels are ongoing and highly effective.

The operations against the Israeli enemy are also ongoing, and the Israeli enemy has completely halted its navigation through the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. Our position, by the grace of Allah, is strong and advanced, and the Americans are acknowledging their failure, which is proven by the reality on the ground.

In light of the American aggression against our country, this is what we say to the Arab regimes and neighbouring countries

In light of that, I would like to send a message to all Arab regimes and to all neighbouring countries.
Regarding the American aggression against our country, which comes in the context of its partnership with the Israeli enemy and its support for it—since the battle we fight is with the Israeli enemy—this aggression is an unjust and blatant assault against our country, clearly targeting civilian property. As we have mentioned, it has even targeted sheep and livestock, water tanks, health centres, public government facilities, and more. This aggression—which comes in the context of collaboration with the Israeli enemy—is an unjust, criminal, and brutal aggression that kills the sons of the Arab Muslim Yemeni people.

In light of all this, we do not expect or anticipate any supportive stance from the Arab regimes towards us as an Arab Muslim Yemeni people:

  • We do not expect that despite their responsibility as Muslims, since we are a Muslim people belonging to this Muslim Ummah, and it is the duty of all Muslims to stand with us and show solidarity with us. This is true as those who are attacking us are the Americans and the Israelis, and they are in an aggressive and unjust position that goes in line with disbelief, attacking Muslims without right. However, we do not expect anything from you; you have let down the Palestinian people, and those who have abandoned Palestine will abandon any other people in this region.
  • Likewise, we do not expect anything from you based on Arab identity: that we are an Arab people, and at the same time, the aggression against us poses a threat to the national security of all Arabs and to the entire Arab region. If the Arabs still have any sense of chivalry, nobility, honour, dignity, pride, or other values that Arabs possessed even in the pre-Islamic era, it is their duty to stand with the Yemeni people in such circumstances, as we are being comprehensively attacked by a foreign, infidel, unjust, and oppressive enemy. Even from this perspective, we do expect your position to be positive, supportive, honourable, or sympathetic. That is because you did not uphold any of those values towards Palestine, so it is even less likely you will act for anything else.
  • Additionally, with respect to the right of good neighbourliness, we do not expect anything from the neighbouring countries based on what good neighbourliness entails, such as solidarity and support.

To all of you—every Arab regime and every country neighbouring Yemen, including those in Africa and elsewhere—we offer this advice and warning: Do not become involved with the Americans in supporting the Israelis. The American enemy is aggressing against our country in support of the Israeli enemy. The battle is between us and the Israeli enemy, which enjoys American backing, protection, and support, so do not become involved in supporting the Israeli enemy. You have already endured enough shame and disgrace—a burden that will weigh on your shoulders for generations and that you will carry on the Day of Resurrection for abandoning the Palestinian people. Do not become involved in supporting the Israeli enemy; do not fight alongside this enemy! Collaborating in any way with the Americans in their aggression against our country is nothing less than support for the Israeli enemy, collaboration with it, and a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

This battle is for Palestine and aims to prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people and to pressure for an end to the genocide against them. So if you engage in any collaboration with the Americans, whether by allowing them to attack us from bases in your countries or providing them with financial, logistical, or intelligence support, then you support, back, and assist the Israeli enemy.

The battle the Americans are fighting against us is in support of the Israeli enemy. This matter is so clear that there is no ambiguity or confusion about it. We do not want anything from you—just keep your harm and evil away from us and do nothing other than watch. You have long been spectators, so watch! Let that be your limit: to watch and enjoy the killing and crimes committed against the Yemeni people, such as the destruction of civilian property and the killing of civilians in government offices, health centers, and elsewhere! Just limit yourselves to that.

We do not want anything from you, nor do we expect any solidarity, cooperation, or response from you. You are the ones who have let down Palestine in the face of everything happening there! Be very careful not to participate in supporting the Israeli enemy. Enough of the shame and disgrace that will linger through generations due to your abandonment of the Palestinian people, which will weigh heavily on you on the Day of Resurrection when you stand before Allah. Do not support the Israeli enemy against us or stand with the Americans in their backing of the Israeli enemy against our country. Do not join in defending the Israeli enemy, protecting it, or fighting against those who oppose it. Just leave us alone!

We seek Allah’s help in confronting the Israeli and American enemies. We trust in Allah, rely on Him, and fight this battle with honour, dignity, pride, and faith, placing our absolute trust in Him, the Almighty.

America is provoking the world and extorting its European allies: Will the Arabs learn the lesson?!

American policies are aggressive, colonialist, and arrogant—this is beyond dispute. The current American attitude is one that provokes all countries around the globe. What is Trump doing? What policies is he relying on now? The Americans and Israelis are in the worst phase of global isolation, characterised by aggressive policies, barbaric actions, and reckless, foolish strategies. Therefore, at such a time, Arabs should not respond by further bowing down to or collaborating with the Americans and Israelis.

Even at the economic level, the Trumpian policies regarding tariffs are well known; they represent a significant economic blow and a form of extreme extortion and complete exploitation, even against America's allies and major trade partners worldwide. Now, all the Europeans are crying out; anyone following their statements can see the impact of the provocative American policies on them, the blatant extortion practiced, and the provocation they have caused to them. Everyone is talking about how those Trumpian American decisions regarding tariffs have very negative effects on their economic situation.

These are the Europeans, whose relations with the Americans are stronger than those of the Arabs and Muslims. In fact, the Americans do not consider Arabs and Muslims as allies; they view those who submit to them as mere tools to be exploited, without any real value. In contrast, they regard the Europeans as allies, but what do they do to these allies? They implement economic policies that negatively impact them, their companies, and factories. They talk in detail about this impact, stating that it harms companies and factories and that it leads to inflation, worker layoffs, and the dismissal of many staff. They state that this can lead to an economic recession and result in a substantial economic impact on them; yet, the Americans have no qualms about the adverse impact on those who are supposed to be their allies!

Moreover, on the defence front, regarding NATO, the Americans are exerting unprecedented extortion on European countries. They are pressuring them and practicing financial extortion on them to a significant extent, while the Europeans are crying out and showing their lack of confidence in American protection. Indeed, they now show that quite clearly through the statements of senior officials from various European countries, making it clear that they are uncertain about the future of American protection and are becoming increasingly worried, realising that they need to ensure their own protection.

What is happening in Europe should serve as a lesson for those Arab countries that are focused on how to gain American protection, how to curry favour with the Americans, and how to rely entirely on them at the expense of their Ummah's issues and the well-being of their peoples.

What the Americans are currently doing with their economic policies is a departure even from the very principles of capitalism and the economic principles upheld in America, Europe, and the West. They have turned against all of that, practising extortion in every sense of the word, exploitation, and pressure that could even impact the American economy itself!

This policy, which is one of bullying, extortion, and pressure, has reached a point where an entire island has been taken from Denmark without any consideration. In the end, the Danes handed over their island to avoid his evil. The way he deals with Panama and his intention to exert more pressure on East Asia, to name but a few—all of these aggressive policies have provoked countries around the world. Everyone can now see America for what it truly is. One can now clearly see its tyranny, arrogance, aggression, blatant extortion, and overt exploitation. Therefore, our position is firmly aligned with what is right in every sense of the word.

As for our Ummah, what is happening poses a danger to the entire Ummah. The Israeli enemy's intentions are clear, and it enjoys open and comprehensive support from the Americans. The responsibility lies with everyone, and at the very least, the regimes must refrain from doing harm. Those regimes that collaborate with America must stop causing harm to the Palestinians, to the mujahidin in Palestine, and also to those who stand with and support them, as is the case with the Axis of Jihad, Al-Quds, and Resistance.

Part Three: Summer courses—Objectives and significance

In the third part of this speech, we address the summer courses, which are part of the efforts to take care of the younger generation. This is because education, knowledge, and moral upbringing are among the fundamental necessities. These courses, therefore, fulfill a human need, a faith-based need, and a civilisational need. They also serve as a means of protecting the younger generation in the face of the aggressive, corrupting, and misleading war known as soft war.

Summer courses aim to:

  • instill in the younger generation a firm commitment to their faith-based identity;
  • enlighten them with guidance, awareness, insight, knowledge, and beneficial science; and
  •  nurture them with high moral values, faith-based dignity, and a deep sense of responsibility.

These courses empower them to become a conscious, faithful, and Quranic generation that enjoys honour, dignity, and freedom—one capable of rising to its role in transforming reality for the better, contributing to the hoped-for revival of its people, and confronting challenges and dangers with faith, awareness, and by pursuing the means of victory and strength.

Anyone who reflects on the current reality of the Muslim Ummah as a whole will recognise the vital importance of taking care of the younger generation. While we face serious threats, there also exist significant opportunities. These threats largely come from the taming policies followed in many countries, where regimes are becoming more focused on their taming effort. In other words, it is not enough for these regimes that the Ummah, in general, has already been tamed to the satisfaction of its enemies; now, they actively seek to maintain this state and pass it on to future generations. Therefore, they target the younger generation and seek to tame them more and more to become submissive to the enemies, embrace humiliation, surrender, stagnation, and weakness, and cling to the very causes that dragged the Ummah to its lowest point, where it is lost in deep heedlessness, as if it were a nation that has no responsibilities and faces no threats, challenges, or enemies.

Passing down this state from one generation to the next drags the Ummah further towards rock bottom. It is a catastrophic state for the Ummah and a grave injustice to the younger generation to raise them to inherit this deeply negative state of the Ummah.

As for some regimes, they are heading towards something even worse by aligning themselves with the Americans and Israelis, reshaping their educational curricula, cultural activities, overall policies, and general orientations to match what the Americans and Israelis want. They are now following what the Americans and Israelis dictate to them in this regard. Consequently, they are steering the younger generation towards ruin, instilling in them loyalty to their enemies—the Americans and Israelis—while pushing them towards moral decay, corruption, and stripping away their human, ethical, religious, and moral value. They distort core values and concepts, leading the younger generation to fall victim to what’s known as soft war, a truly dangerous threat in every sense of the word.

When a person falls victim to soft war through misguidance at the level of culture, thought, vision, the loss of insight, and the lack of awareness or through corruption at the level of morals—aiming to strike at morals and values and causing the erosion of values—this kills his humanity, honour, future, morals, and religiosity. In other words, this is far more dangerous than physically killing him.

You can meet Allah as a martyr while standing on the battlefield of military confrontation, free, honoured, and dignified, preserving your human dignity and upholding your human, religious, and faith-based values. Your sacrifice, made within the framework of an honourable position, contributes to achieving victory, transforming reality, and repelling harm. At the same time, it earns you the pleasure of Allah (Glory be to Him) and eternal happiness in the Hereafter. In this, there is no loss at all.

However, the greatest loss lies in the downfall of millions of our youth and the younger generation through soft war. Those who were misled and corrupted, those who were made to lose their humanity, their dignity, their conscience, and their moral values, those who were stripped of their human and Islamic identity and turned into hollow shells of human beings, filled instead with misguidance, moral decay, blind loyalty to the enemies of Islam, ignorance, and a complete lack of insight and awareness—this is the truly dangerous state. This is the true meaning of being lost. This is failure in its clearest and most undeniable form.

At this stage, the Ummah, in general, is suffering from weakness. The prevailing attitude we see towards what’s happening in Gaza reflects this weakness, which is a very dangerous state for our Ummah. This is the very state that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) warned about in the very important hadith, where he said: 'The people will soon summon one another to attack you in the same way people when eating invite others to share their dish.' It is as if you were a meal, an easy and vulnerable prey, devoured by the enemies who feast upon you. You become a target for the nations, a feast for them to plunder your resources, occupy your lands, violate your honour, and permit your killing and extermination. This is what it means to be like the dish that the eaters rush to eat: to find yourselves in such a state and at such a level, falling into a terrifying, disgraceful state, marked by surrender, weakness, and defeat. It is a state devoid of dignity, honour, freedom, and independence; it is a state of complete violation in every sense of the word. The dish that the eaters gather around represents the total violation of something they regard as easy prey, enticing others to partake in the exploitation.

'So, they asked, ''Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?''' In other words, they were asking: Is it due to the lack of resources and capabilities or small numbers that we could reach such a state of weakness—one that encourages other nations, who lack our principles, values, and the religion that connects us to Allah and brings His victory, support, and aid, to attack us?

He replied, 'No, you will be numerous at that time, but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and fill your hearts with frailty.' This terrifying state of our Ummah, the Ummah of two billion Muslims, is like scum and rubbish carried down by a torrent. Just look at how we stand against ten million Zionist Jews! How is it that the Ummah of two billion Muslims has become so weak and incapable, with flawed decisions, stances, and actions? This weakness is a dangerous state for the Ummah, encouraging its enemies in every country against all its peoples. It is not a natural state, nor a healthy or positive one.

For that reason, it must be eradicated. Efforts must be made to overcome this condition, for the continued existence of the Ummah as mere froth, like the scum carried by a torrent, means it can easily be trampled upon by its enemies. Therefore, we must break free from this condition so that we are no longer like the scum of a torrent, but rather become the model connected to our Quran and to our Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH&F). Allah says about the Prophet and his model that truly represents Islam:

{'Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers and compassionate with one another. You see them bowing and prostrating , seeking Allah’s bounty and pleasure. They bear signs on their faces from the traces of prostration. This is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters, so that He may enrage the disbelievers through them'}.

This description illustrates the stark contrast between the state of being like the scum carried by a torrent—a scum that is trampled underfoot and carries no value, weight, significance, benefit, or impact—and the model that embodies goodness and strength, dignity and honour, and a powerful, magnificent, awe-inspiring appearance.

This parable appears in the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran—three of the Books of Allah—through three of Allah’s Messengers, from among the messengers of firm resolve. It serves to convey that this is the true and authentic continuation of the message of Allah, the Almighty.

Therefore, the current state of the Ummah is as a scum carried by a torrent because it has no insight or sound vision and has become an ummah that no longer has any values, morals, or a sense of responsibility—an ummah that has embraced the causes of weakness and frailty and forsaken the faith-based nurturing that could have granted it strength and might.

When they asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) about this state of frailty, saying, 'What is frailty, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'Your love of the worldly life and your hatred of death.'

It is this attachment to false interests that has brought the Ummah to its current state of frailty—combined with a lack of awareness of what is in the best interest of this Ummah that brings goodness in this world and the Hereafter and leads to honour and dignity.

One of the most important things that the Ummah and its rising generation need to find a way out of this dire predicament!

Therefore, our Ummah is in urgent need of addressing this condition. Among the gravest afflictions that affected the Ummah is a crisis of trust in Allah. This is the root of all the problems our Ummah is experiencing and has led to a significant flaw in its vision, insight, and awareness, in its values and ethics, and in its sense of responsibility. All that stems from the crisis of trust in Allah, in His promise and admonition, and in His Book and His Prophet. This is a crisis that our Ummah needs to address.

Therefore, one of the most important necessities for our Ummah and its rising generation is to strengthen the relationship with the Holy Quran as a book of guidance. We must learn from it to know Allah (the Almighty), to instill a sense of His greatness, and to enhance our trust in Him. We need to understand how to bolster our trust in Allah so that we can see ourselves capable of fulfilling all that He has commanded us: to maintain justice, to strive in His cause, to be His supporters, to be an ummah that calls to goodness, enjoins what is right, and forbids what is wrong, and to be believers who support one another, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong.

For the Ummah to regain its effectiveness and emerge from this dreadful state of ineffectiveness where it has no weight or influence and exerts no effort to make use of any of its elements of strength, it must transition from a state of being trampled upon by its enemies to that of an authentic model that enrages the disbelievers. This model enrages them because it does not allow itself to be trampled. It stands against their tyranny, their evil, their injustice, and their criminality, working to thwart their plots and conspiracies.

Any attempt to build a rising generation that is not grounded in the Holy Quran—its principles, its guidance, and its light—will bring about no real change in reality. Rather, it will only contribute further to our decline. The great and effective Quranic formula for a better reality in this critical era—one that represents an authentic extension of the characteristics revealed about the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) and those who were with him—is to actively embrace the guidance laid down in Allah's saying:

{'O believers! Whoever among you abandons their religion, Allah will replace them with others who are loved by Him and love Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, and they fight in the cause of Allah, fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. Your only Mawla are Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, who establish prayer and pay zakat while bowing. And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed, then it is certainly Allah’s party that will prevail'}.

This also requires raising this generation to consider the pleasure of Allah (the Almighty) as the ultimate goal and important aspiration they should strive to achieve. For in this lies all goodness, both in this world and the Hereafter. A person who seeks this pleasure will receive extensive care from Allah, will be granted success, and will have goodness facilitated through his hands for others. He will become an active, good, and righteous individual who helps others and has a sense of dignity.

The level of benefit derived from summer courses requires attention from all relevant parties, both at the official level and from those administratively responsible for the courses. Those with cultural and academic backgrounds should contribute diligently and persistently to teaching these courses. This is a significant contribution to nurturing the younger generation, educating them, and equipping them with the necessary skills. It is also a part of striving in the cause of Allah, the Almighty. We hope for everyone’s commitment to this effort, as the community also plays a fundamental and important role. May Allah grant everyone success, guidance, and support.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
