Speech by Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Zayd (PBUH)
25 Muharram 1447 A.H.
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
This anniversary reminds us of this great symbol of Islam and guide of the Ummah—a legacy we commemorate because of what Imam Zayd (PBUH) represents to us. He is a great figure whose significant contributions revived the truth, upheld the Islamic faith, and confronted tyranny. His influence has extended through the Ummah generation after generation. We commemorate this anniversary because of what Imam Zayd (PBUH) means to us and our desperate need today for the profound lessons his legacy offers. In fact, this very incident holds important lessons, and as an ummah facing challenges and dangers, we are in dire need of learning from our history—lessons that enhance our awareness, insight, and sense of responsibility and allow us to understand the importance of fulfilling those responsibilities the Holy Quran has drawn our attention to and the dangers of neglecting them.
Imam Zayd (PBUH) is from the Prophet’s noble lineage, the epitome of dignity. His father is Zayn Al-Abidin, the Master of Prostrators, Ali ibn Al-Hussein, and his grandfather is Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH), the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F). Imam Zayd (PBUH) is renowned throughout the entire Ummah for his great spiritual perfection, his elevated and noble status, and his distinguished role in reviving the truth and standing against oppression and tyranny. He is held in high esteem by all sects of the Ummah, with everyone acknowledging his lofty standing and immense legacy. Therefore, when we speak about him—about his character, his cause, and his role within the Ummah—we speak about him as a guide and exemplar, a luminous symbol of Islam, and one of the Ummah’s foremost beacons of guidance.
In his uprising, Imam Zayd (PBUH), who was martyred in 122 A.H., followed the path of his grandfather Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH). For this reason, many of Ahl Al-Bayt would say about his uprising: 'He took the stand of the companion of Karbala,' referring to Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH). His movement, his uprising, and his stand were indeed a continuation of the stand and uprising of his grandfather Al-Hussein (PBUH). The period in which he rose was a highly sensitive and extremely perilous one. It was a time when the Umayyad tyranny had established an overwhelming grip over the Islamic Ummah, marked by oppression, darkness, misguidance, and corruption, as well as humiliation and subjugation of the Muslims. This was met with silence, submission, passivity, and despair among the Ummah.
Following the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH), the Ummah rose in successive revolutions across different regions, alongside the Zubayrid-Umayyad conflict. However, the Umayyads soon returned to dominate the Ummah with full force, reasserting total control over the Islamic Ummah and bringing with it a horrific legacy of tyranny and darkness. Their tyranny reached such a level that they burned the sacred Kaaba, violated the sanctity of Medina, and slaughtered the family of the Prophet (PBUH&F) along with his companions. They showed blatant contempt for Islamic sanctities, disdained the Holy Quran, and mocked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F).
The Jews would attend the courts of their rulers with honour and high regard, occupying prominent roles and using those platforms to insult and ridicule the Prophet (PBUH&F), while the Umayyad rulers would listen attentively. Those same rulers presented themselves as leaders of the Islamic Ummah, calling themselves 'Commanders of the believers' and 'Caliphs', even as they brazenly showed a total lack of respect for the most sacred sanctities of Islam. To them, neither the Kaaba nor Medina held any sanctity, nor did they show any respect for Muslims, including the Prophet's companions and his family. None of Islam's sanctities was respected, and the entire Ummah was subjected to deep humiliation.
Their grip and dominance over the Ummah were so complete that they 'use the religion of Allah as a means of deception, turn His servants into slaves, and divide His wealth among themselves'. They concentrated all their efforts on misleading the Ummah, manipulating the principles of Islam, and erasing many of its defining features. They worked tirelessly to reduce the Ummah's condition under their rule to one of subjection, humiliation, and absolute submission—a reality captured in his saying that they would 'turn His servants into slaves'. As dominating overlords, they wanted the Ummah to accept this type of relationship: one of enslavement, total compliance, and obedience to them—even when such obedience defied the command of Allah (Glory be to Him) and contradicted the guidance of the Holy Quran and the clear teachings of Islam.
In fact, their conduct, statements, and practices provide ample evidence proving these truths: These truths demonstrated how they actively fought the authentic concepts of Islam, manipulating and replacing them with fabricated ones falsely branded as Islamic—concepts they sought to impose upon the Ummah. This also applies to their acts of extreme injustice, criminality, and unspeakable brutality.
The historical accounts from all factions of the Ummah—not confined to any particular group or sect—attest to the truth of these facts, offering a rich body of detail for one to understand the horror of what was taking place and the profound significance and greatness of what Imam Zayd (PBUH) accomplished through his blessed uprising. For the Umayyads—as we have said—'use the religion of Allah as a means of deception, turn His servants into slaves, and divide His wealth among themselves'. Indeed, they monopolised the Ummah’s resources to indulge in luxury, expand their influence and control, and buy loyalties and consciences.
In the face of that situation—which, as we mentioned, was met with submission from the Ummah due to the dominance, tyranny, brutal oppression, and persecution exercised by the Umayyad tyrants against the Ummah—Imam Zayd’s uprising in those extremely difficult circumstances was both significant and profound. It was driven by deep faith and grounded in exceptional awareness and a high level of belief.
There are key features of Imam Zayd’s uprising; he worked on them for years until he met Allah as a martyr. The unifying theme behind all these features, from which they all branch out, was his effort to reconnect the Ummah with the Holy Quran on the basis of true guidance and practical adherence. In fact, this is a vital and foundational issue, for under the rule of tyrants, oppressors, criminals, and misleaders, the Ummah’s bond with the Quran often becomes shallow and symbolic. The Holy Quran remains present, taught for reading and recitation. However, when it comes to drawing actual guidance from it, truly adhering to its guidance, and applying it practically as a way of life and as the foundation for the Ummah’s stance in all matters, that dimension is largely absent. What remains are limited rituals practiced by the Ummah and accepted by the tyrants, only after they strip them of their meaningful and influential content and sever them from the broader, essential matters that give them vitality and lasting impact in the hearts of the Ummah's people.
Imam Zayd (PBUH) had a profound connection with the Quran. He was distinguished by this great bond to such an extent that he became known in Medina as 'the Ally of the Quran'. This title became a recognised designation and a defining characteristic of him.
He was also known for and widely recognised by his deep knowledge of the Holy Quran, which clearly manifested in every facet of his educational, guiding, and awareness-raising efforts—his letters, his debates, his public gatherings. Through these efforts, he sought to enlighten the Ummah, to restore its connection with the Holy Quran, and to correct the distorted and darkened concepts that had taken root.
The depth of his relationship with the Holy Quran was known and became clearly evident. The Holy Quran, with its blessed verses and sacred texts, featured prominently throughout all his activities: in every reminder he gave, in every letter he wrote, and in every aspect of his movement within the Ummah. This legacy remains clear today, as many of his letters still exist today—published, well-known, and documented—passed down through generations. They reveal, beyond doubt, the strength and clarity of his connection to the Holy Quran.
He strove to ensure that the Ummah’s connection with the Holy Quran was grounded in true guidance, firm adherence, and practical implementation—so that the Holy Quran would once again reclaim its cultural dominance. This was essential for correcting every concept incompatible with the teachings of the Holy Quran and confronting the falsification, distortion, misguidance, and insertion of falsehoods that the Umayyad tyrants had promoted and entrenched.
In this context, Imam Zayd (PBUH) said, 'And I advise you to take the Book of Allah as your guide and leader, to follow it in what you love and what you dislike, and to accuse your own selves and opinions when they do not align with the Quran. That is because the Quran is a healing for the one who seeks healing through it, a light for the one who follows it and holds firmly to it, and a salvation for the one who adheres to it. Whoever acts upon it is rightly guided; whoever judges by it does justice; whoever argues with it prevails; and whoever opposes it falls into disbelief. In it is the account of those before you, the news of that awaits you, and to it is the ultimate return of your affairs.' This is the relationship with the Holy Quran he sought to restore for the Ummah—a bond of guidance and adherence, with the Quran as the Ummah’s leader and guide. This is what he (PBUH) earnestly pursued.
He also said, 'Without a doubt, the most knowledgeable among people is the one most knowledgeable of the Quran and that the most rightly guided is the one who acts upon it and follows its guidance. Allah (the Almighty) says, Verily, this Quran guides to the straightest way and gives good news to the believers who do good that they will have a mighty reward"Al-Isra 17:9.'
Imam Zayd (peace be upon him) recognised that the core problem of the Ummah stemmed from its broken relationship with the Holy Quran. This disconnection had far-reaching consequences for the Ummah in every aspect of life, starting with its faith-based relationship with Allah, which declined to a deeply alarming level due to turning away from the Quran and its guidance. For many, being Muslim became a mere formality, while their lives followed paths far removed from the teachings of the Holy Quran. This detachment had a harmful effect on the psychological and moral condition of the Ummah, and inevitably affected its practical reality as well. Additionally, several important details arise from this comprehensive and inclusive theme.
One of the key principles Imam Zayd (PBUH) underscored under this theme was the importance of insight—deep, conscious awareness. He would urge people, 'O servants of Allah, insight, insight!' In fact, the Ummah’s foremost need is Quranic awareness, which grants profound insight and a proper understanding of Islam—its responsibilities, enemies, duties, and the real threats it faces. This awareness is essential for the Ummah to stand against all factions of misguidance and falsehood, as well as tyrants, oppressors, and arrogant powers. This level of awareness and insight is urgently required. One of the greatest gifts of the Holy Quran is this elevated awareness, which shields the Ummah from various forms of targeting through the so-called 'soft warfare': intellectual, media-based, and cultural targeting—all forms of targeting that fall under the banner of deception and misguidance. These are among the most dangerous forms of warfare waged against the Ummah by factions of falsehood: Jews, Christians, other disbelievers, and even internal elements affiliated with the Ummah who act in ways that serve its enemies.
Allah says about the Holy Quran, 'Indeed, there have come to you insights from your Lord. So whoever chooses to see, it is for their own good. But whoever chooses to be blind, it is to their own loss' "Al-An'am 6:104". The Ummah is in dire need of insight and awareness through the Holy Quran. Without such insight, hearts become blind, and people lose sight of vital truths. In such a state, many members of our Ummah become highly vulnerable to deception, susceptible to misguidance by those who seek to lead them astray, and exposed to the influence of efforts made by their enemies with the aim of misleading them. They also become easy targets for propaganda campaigns, as well as for educational and intellectual programmes laden with doubts and falsehoods—carefully crafted to draw them even further away from the truth. When deprived of the protection offered by Allah’s guidance and the concepts and insights of the Quran, the heart becomes blind. Allah says, "'Indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts'""Al-Hajj 22:46".
One of the key principles that Imam Zayd (PBUH) sought to revive was the principle of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong. This is because tyrants and arrogant powers have always sought to distort its meanings, empty it of its true content, and erase it from the practical reality of the Ummah. This principle is one of the most important principles in the Holy Quran, as enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong is among the greatest responsibilities entrusted to the Islamic Ummah, and is emphasised repeatedly by Allah in the Holy Quran. In fact, the virtue and excellence of this Ummah are closely tied to this principle. It is a key hallmark of the best among the Ummah—the righteous and the beacons of guidance within this Ummah. For this reason, Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, "'You are the best nation ever raised for mankind: You enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and believe in Allah'""Ali 'Imran 3:110". The righteous and guiding figures of this Ummah—beginning with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F)—were distinguished by these noble qualities:
- enjoining what is right,
- forbidding what is wrong, and
- believing in Allah (Glory be to Him).
The responsibility of this Ummah is to follow their path and to emulate their example in fulfilling this major and sacred, responsibility. This ensures that the Ummah remains connected to what is right, both by adhering to it and by commanding it and acting upon it as a responsibility. The same holds true regarding forbidding what is wrong as part of this major responsibility and principle: It must avoid what is wrong, fight it, eradicate it from its domain. It should take forbidding evil as one of its responsibilities, therefore striving to eliminate and counter it and rejecting it. Moreover, the Ummah should understand that fulfilling this responsibility is among the most sacred duties it holds and one of the clearest signs of its true belief in Allah, the Almighty, fulfilling this responsibility from a foundation of faith: Allah (Glory be to Him) commands in the Holy Quran, "'And you believe in Allah'}[Ali 'Imran 3:110", and He also says, "'Let there be a group among you who call "others" to goodness, enjoin what is good, and forbid what is wrong—it is they who will be successful '""Ali 'Imran 3:104".
When the Ummah neglects this responsibility, the situation will be entirely reversed: What is good will be opposed even within the Muslim Ummah itself. The Ummah will be prevented from upholding what is right, and the hypocrites, along with the disbelievers among its enemies, will forbid it from pursuing what is right in all its forms—the principles, laws, and other details of Islam. Consequently, the Ummah becomes an ummah that is urged to follow what is wrong by the hypocrites, whom Allah described in the Holy Quran, ('The munafiqun, both men and women, are of one another. They command to what is evil and forbid what is right')(At-Tawbah 9:67). Its enemies will do the same to it, especially the Jews and their allies from among the Christians and others—whose path in life is one of deviation that hinders others from the path of Allah and fights against truth, justice, goodness, and the innate human values that Allah has instilled within His servants. They call for wrongdoing, corruption, and injustice, clearly seen in their practices, politics, orientations, and positions, as well as in what they impose on people across all spheres, including political, economic, and social spheres. As a result, what is wrong becomes dominant and deeply entrenched, while what is right turns into something alien to the Ummah—something frowned upon, rejected, mocked, ridiculed, and actively fought against and prohibited.
Imam Zayd (PBUH) sought to revive the principle of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong. This is because the neglect or elimination of this great principle from the religious and faith-based commitments of the Ummah transforms the reality of life into one of darkness, filled with corruption, crimes, injustice, and wrongdoing. Such a grave neglect turns Islam into a mere formality, with only a few rituals and practices remaining in the reality of the Ummah. Consequently, while the Ummah may identify as a Muslim ummah, its reality maay be filled with oppression, corruption, vices, crimes, and atrocities. In fact, this is far from the true fruits of Islam: truth, goodness, justice, noble character, and everything that embodies goodness in every aspect of life.
When Imam Zayd (PBUH) raised the banner of truth during his uprising, he said, 'Praise be to Allah Who has perfected my religion. By Allah, I would have been ashamed to meet the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) on the Day of Judgment, had I not enjoined right and forbidden wrong in his Ummah.' He clearly understood the vital importance of reviving this sacred and great duty and the danger that neglecting poses to the religion itself, for when any part of the Ummah’s religion is lost, its fruits vanish from real life.
Within this same context, he would repeatedly stress—in various settings—the importance of having a sense of responsibility and taking action to reform the reality of the Ummah and confront corruption, injustice, oppression, and tyranny, saying, 'I swear by Allah, the Book of Allah does not permit me to remain silent. How can I be silent when the Book of Allah has been violated, and judgment is being sought from jibt and taghut?' He also was saying, 'I swear by Allah, the Book of my Lord does not allow me to withhold my hand.' Thus, he would continually remind the Ummah of this responsibility as he strove to liberate it and save it from the state of servitude to tyranny and from the entrenched state of humiliation that had shackled it, subjugating it to tyranny and stripping it of its trust in Allah (Glory be to Him). He (PBUH) would say, 'I swear by Allah, no people ever came to detest the heat of swords except that they were humiliated.'
When the Ummah loses the nurturing of the Holy Quran and its spirit, it descends to a low level of morale, losing trust in Allah (Glory be to Him) and experiencing a severe decline in its sense of responsibility. At that point, it reaches a state of apprehension and fear in confronting falsehood and misguidance. It feels weak and despairing, losing its trust in Allah (Glory be to Him) and its faith-driven motivation and the dignity that stems from belief. As a result, it accepts humiliation and disgrace out of fear and apprehension from standing up to tyrants and oppressors: 'I swear by Allah, no people ever came to detest the heat of swords except that they were humiliated.' Imam Zaid also said, 'Whoever is consumed by the love of mere survival cloaks himself in humiliation until his end.' When a person's sole concern becomes clinging to life—no matter the conditions, even if they involve humiliation, submission, falsehood, or surrender to tyrants, criminals, and corrupters—this is a perilous state. He becomes apprehensive about acting in the cause of Allah, for fear of being martyred.
Imam Zayd (PBUH), through his immense contributions and great sacrifices, did not strive in vain. His contributions extended across generations, laying the foundation for a school of truth that endures in every age and will remain until the Day of Judgment.
Despite all that he suffered due to the abandonment of many among the Ummah, Imam Zayd (PBUH) remained steadfast and determined to fulfil his duty and shoulder his responsibility. As he famously declared, 'Even if none were to rise with me except my son Yahya, I would still fight them.' Such words reflect the extent of his unwavering determination, firmness, perseverance, and devotion in the path of Allah (Glory be to Him). Moreover, the oppression inflicted upon him by the Umayyad tyrants was so extreme that they killed him and then crucified his body for four years. Even after crucifying his body for four years, they burned his body until it turned to ashes. They scattered part of these ashes upon the winds across the land, and part they cast into the river, seeking to ensure that not a trace of him would remain. They believed that by doing so, they could extinguish his path and erase his influence within the Ummah. Yet they failed—completely and utterly.
His son Yahya (Peace be upon them) continued his path of jihad and carried his banner. He was martyred four years after his father. Following the martyrdom of Imam Zayd (PBUH), the tyrannical Umayyad grip on the Ummah persisted for only ten more years before collapsing entirely in the massive Khurasan revolution, which rallied under the cry for vengeance for Imam Al-Hussein, Imam Zayd, and Imam Yahya ibn Zayd (Peace be upon them). Thus, the far-reaching impact of their legacy ultimately achieved complete success in toppling the unjust, oppressive, corrupt, misleading, and enslaving Umayyad rule, and it also ensured the continuity and spread of truth. Their sacrifices, their uprising, and their jihad breathed life and momentum into the cause of truth within the Ummah, enabling it to endure and grow across generations.
Today, the Ummah is in dire need of reviving itself through the Holy Quran once again to correct its current condition. The great principles embodied in the uprising of Imam Zayd (PBUH) are the very principles the Ummah needs in our time—just as much as they were needed in his time, if not even more so.
The Ummah must return to the Holy Quran in order to set itself right, to awaken its sense of responsibility, and to rise up in this era against the American-Israeli tyranny, which poses an immense threat to the Ummah:
- enslaving and degrading the Ummah;
- oppressing and subjugating it;
- spreading corruption across the earth, distorting the fabric of life, and corrupting the Ummah itself;
- targeting its sanctities and erasing its Islamic identity; and
- endangering the Ummah in all forms—its lands, its existence, its security, independence, freedom, dignity, and everything it holds dear.
The American-Israeli threat poses a grave danger to this Ummah. The true path forward—according to the verses of the Holy Quran and as affirmed by both reality and history—is to act decisively, guided by the Holy Quran. The true path forward is to engage in a sincere effort in the cause of Allah, the Almighty—placing trust in Him and following His light—to confront the American-Israeli threat in all its forms: the so-called 'soft war', based on misguidance and moral corruption and the 'hard war', involving military aggression, killing, destruction, genocide, and more.
In today’s reality and in light of this threat, the entire Ummah—and any who observes current events—can see the immense tragedy and injustice inflicted upon the Palestinian people in Gaza as a manifestation of this threat. Though it has targeted one segment of the Ummah, it is in fact a danger to the Ummah in its entirety. Its harm is already embedded in our reality—its schemes, threats, and consequences are widespread across the Ummah’s affairs and in every domain. The Ummah suffers profoundly from this threat—whether acknowledged by those who see it or denied by those who turn a blind eye.
As for what is unfolding against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, it is a horrific tragedy and a grave injustice. The people of Gaza are now experiencing the most extreme stage of starvation. Alongside the killing, destruction, and genocide, there is also a deliberate starvation campaign that has reached a critical level. Children are dying from hunger—martyred daily, and at times even hourly, due to extreme starvation and acute famine.
The Israeli enemy has systematically engineered death traps using its control over humanitarian aid to turn it into a tool of killing and extermination. Countless people remain in a state of acute hunger and appalling suffering despite the fact that this is all unfolding in the very midst of the Ummah—Palestine lies at the heart of the Arab world, surrounded by Arabs and Muslims. This suffering is taking place among hundreds of millions of Arabs and two billion Muslims who merely watch, as though they were a paralysed ummah, incapable of delivering even a single loaf of bread, a cup of water, or a single pill—nothing at all. They do nothing other than watch passively, as though these were irrelevant events. However, this passive watching, this abandonment of responsibility, presents a dire threat to the Ummah’s standing before Allah (Glory be to Him). It will be held to account for this—both in this world and in the Hereafter. This is a perilous condition that lays bare the depths of the Ummah’s decline—its lack of awareness, its erosion of human compassion, its collapse in moral values. It has fallen beneath even the many virtues it upheld in the pre-Islamic era, such as chivalry and nobility—fundamental values now lost to a truly staggering degree.
This alone reveals the Ummah’s desperate need to rectify its course in accordance with Allah’s law of change: {'Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves'}(Ar-Ra'd 13:11). The situation is one of deep shame—particularly for Arabs and for the broader Muslim world—to stand by and simply watch. The tragic scenes of Palestinian children starving to death in the Gaza Strip before the eyes of the entire Ummah are a disgrace to the Ummah. They expose the immense and shocking failure that has given both the Israeli enemy and the Americans full confidence that, no matter what they do to the Palestinian people, there will be no meaningful reaction from this Ummah. It is a perilous and alarming state!
Since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza, our Yemeni people have engaged in a comprehensive and unwavering mobilisation, remaining steadfast in their position despite immense challenges:
- Military aggression in two successive waves, led by America, Britain, and Israel, involving thousands of air strikes on our land.
- A severe blockade that has extended even to the humanitarian sector, including significant cuts to aid—a blockade widely known and part of a broader siege imposed on our people.
- A deliberate and systematic economic war, executed through all tools aligned with the Americans and the Israelis.
- A vast propaganda campaign.
- Various attempts at media and security infiltration, efforts to sway loyalties, and campaigns aimed at dismantling the national direction of our people and diverting them from their vital causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, which concerns us all—the Palestinian people are part of us, and their oppression is shared by the entire Ummah, just as the American-Israeli threat is a danger to us all.
With such steadfastness, our people are moving forward from a deep and unwavering foundation of faith. They are guided with clarity by the insight of the Holy Quran. That is why—by the grace of Allah—every effort by the enemies to deter them from this path has failed. And so, our people will continue their path with resolute and active engagement across all fronts:
- through sustained military operations,
- through intensive public activities, and
- through all essential activities related to military mobilisation—training, development, and other critical efforts.
This path we take—one that has deep roots within the Ummah—in confronting American and Israeli tyranny is one we pursue with the insight of the Holy Quran and a drive of faith. It is a path deeply rooted in the Ummah and passed down through generations. It traces back to the example of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), who delivered to us the religion of Allah in its complete form, and it is also founded on the Holy Quran: {'Indeed in the messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often'}(Al-Ahzab 33:21). This path also continues through the beacons of guidance within the Ummah—his pure family and the righteous, generation after generation. That is why we remain committed to supporting the Palestinian people and resisting American and Israeli tyranny. We trust in the true promise of Allah—that victory is assured, and the final outcome belongs to the righteous.
I ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to reward you for your honourable and significant presence at the commemoration of this occasion.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
