Speech by Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Latest Developments

Thursday, 29 Muharram 1447 A.H. (24 July 2025 A.D.)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In the latest developments of the brutal, barbaric, and criminal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, this week has been the harshest, most tragic, and most painful since the beginning of the Israeli assault on Gaza 657 days ago.

The crime of starvation and the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip due to hunger have reached an extremely dangerous stage. The Director of Medical Relief in Gaza stated that they have entered the danger phase of famine and expect mass deaths among women and children. According to the World Food Programme, approximately 470,000 people in Gaza are now in a state of catastrophic hunger.

The scenes in the Gaza Strip are overwhelmingly tragic. The suffering of children under the oppression, tyranny, and criminality committed by the Israeli enemy is deeply heartbreaking. Their ordeal stands as a stain on all of humanity, especially on Muslims in the Arab world and beyond. Children in Gaza are enduring extreme hardship, and the Israeli enemy has made them a primary target of its criminal practices and its savage aggression at every stage of life:

  • This starts even before birth, as fetuses in their mothers’ wombs. Among the most severe suffering is that of pregnant women in the Gaza Strip, who face dire conditions, both for themselves and their unborn children. Fetuses suffer from their mothers’ starvation. Tens of thousands of pregnant Palestinian women are going hungry due to the lack of food—this poses grave harm to both mother and fetus. The law and teachings of Allah (the Almighty) and even human-made laws and universal norms give special attention to the circumstances of pregnant women. This is consistent with innate human values and the principles of equity and mercy. But the Israeli enemy gives no regard to any of this. As a result, the starvation of pregnant women takes a direct toll on their unborn children. In addition to starvation, many pregnant women have been martyred, along with their unborn children, by the Israeli enemy.
  • Suffering continues after birth. This includes the suffering even of premature infants, as seen during hospital raids where newborns in incubators were targeted and killed by various means, including cutting off their oxygen supply.
  • Infants are also deliberately targeted, even to the extent of depriving them of milk. The suffering has become extreme due to the lack of milk. Mothers are starving—how can they produce milk for breastfeeding under such conditions? At the same time, formula milk that should be available for infants is being deliberately withheld. The Israeli enemy prevents the entry of formula intended to feed these children because it seeks to exterminate them. These infants are a primary target in its criminal plan and practices, aimed at carrying out genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
  • Likewise, across all stages of childhood, children are being deliberately targeted and are enduring immense suffering. Children are being killed for amusement—literally for entertainment—and also as part of the broader Israeli enemy’s aggressive goal of full-scale genocide. The criminals from the Zionist gangs, who call themselves the Israeli army, take pride in this. Some of them even post videos of themselves killing children as a form of amusement. They brag about it—an appalling display of criminality, brutality, and complete moral bankruptcy, devoid of all human and moral values.

Throughout all stages of childhood, children in the Gaza Strip endure everything that the wider community suffers. Many are directly targeted and killed, and many others are injured, facing the same hardships as all wounded Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, especially with the complete lack of medical care and health services. They also suffer from starvation, forced displacement, and thirst. Children in the Gaza Strip are subjected to every imaginable form of suffering, including being deprived of education—one of the most painful aspects for the people of Gaza. The Palestinian people in Gaza place great importance on education and are deeply committed to it. That is why they suffer immensely as they witness an entire generation grow up deprived of education.

What has become of children's rights, human rights, and all the slogans raised by the godless West to deceive other nations—such slogans that deceived many people in the Islamic world and across much of the globe, making them perceive the West as the guardian of rights and the upholder of human dignity? All of that is utterly absent, for it is the West itself that provides every form of support to the Israeli enemy in all of these practices it commits.

The Israeli enemy also targets women: pregnant women, elderly women, and those of advanced age. Their suffering in the Gaza Strip is profoundly heartbreaking and deeply tragic, and they endure every form of hardship. They are targeted for killing—something all too evident—as part of the broader campaign to kill everyone: young and old, children and women alike, even in displacement camps, in fabric tents that are bombed with American-made destructive and incendiary bombs. Women are also deliberately targeted by snipers—whether while walking along roads, in displacement areas, or even among the rubble of their destroyed homes. The Zionist criminals openly boast about these acts, sharing footage of themselves committing such deliberate crimes against women.

Yesterday, the Zionists shared a video showing a mother walking with her child and searching for food, as they were hungry. Criminal Zionist soldiers pursued her with a drone, in a display of savage and brutal amusement that is devoid of any sense of compassion or moral values. Then they killed her and her child.

Indeed, there are many such scenes! We merely mention examples—just a few cases. What the Israeli enemy is committing on the ground is immense and horrifying: a staggering number of appalling crimes. Women in the Gaza Strip are suffering from hunger, even while pregnant, and many of them are now widows or grieving mothers. They endure immense suffering with their families, mourning the loss of loved ones who have been martyred: children, relatives, fathers, brothers, husbands. Indeed, they endure every form of suffering.

The banner of women's rights is one of the main slogans the godless West focuses on, especially America itself, along with the pro-Zionist European regimes. However, this banner is invoked in an entirely different context: one of deception and manipulation. It is used as a means to infiltrate our societies, target our values, and dismantle the family structure, among other destructive paths. This is a form of aggression against our Ummah and a means of targeting in yet another way.

Nonetheless, they show no interest in women’s rights when the reality is similar to what we see in the Gaza Strip: the mass killing of women, all forms of injustice, and every kind of deprivation inflicted by the Israeli enemy upon Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip. The suffering is immense. The scenes are deeply tragic and heartbreaking. Hunger has worn the women there down. They live in pain and sorrow over the hunger and suffering of their children. Some of them can barely say a word: Their voices are hardly audible due to extreme hunger, exhaustion, weakness, and fatigue, compounded by deep emotional distress, grief, and torment. The Israeli enemy kills them with American bombs, chases them down, and forces them to flee from one area to another, while hungry and worn out. The Israeli enemy also targets some of them with abduction, the crime of rape, torture in prisons and detention centres, and every kind of crime.

The general scenes of the people in the Gaza Strip (of fathers and the elderly, of the young and old alike) are deeply painful. This week, many of them have not eaten anything; they have not any food for five days straight. Hunger is visibly etched on their faces, and so are their exhaustion, fatigue, hardship, sorrow, and pain. Added to that is severe thirst and the constant state of killing.

In addition to all of that, there are the death traps set by the Americans to massacre the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, serving up daily meals of killing. Over a thousand Palestinian martyrs from the Gaza Strip were killed while trying to obtain food from those traps. Driven by extreme hunger—their own, and that of their children and wives—they are forced to go in search of something to eat, only to find both Americans and Israelis waiting for them, jointly taking part in their killing. This week, one of the workers involved in these traps came forward with confessions. An American, acting in the role of security personnel overseeing the food distribution, admitted how the operation involves deliberate targeting and intentional killing of Palestinians. Americans admit to what is happening.

The extreme, deliberate starvation is a crime, and it has cast its heavy shadow over the Gaza Strip. It is a horrific situation, a grave crime, and a source of shame on the entire human society, foremost on the Muslims, with the Arabs at the forefront before anyone else. The situation is truly catastrophic.

Seventy-one thousand Palestinian children are in danger of dying due to severe malnutrition, and seventeen thousand mothers are in urgent need of intervention to prevent the complications of ongoing starvation imposed by the Israeli enemy.

Deaths continue to mount, with new cases reported daily among children across all childhood age groups, especially infants. In addition, the toll includes adults, the elderly, and the sick. For those who are ill, starvation poses an especially serious threat: How can one even take medication—if available—without food, given all the side effects and complications?! Deaths among children and infants are rising due to the deterioration of health and humanitarian conditions, resulting from both the blockade and the relentless bombardment.

The spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defence addressed the entire global community and all international institutions, stating clearly that Gaza’s children are literally dying of hunger.

The director of Al-Shifa Hospital warned that they expect alarming death tolls due to the starvation imposed on the people of Gaza, where nine hundred thousand children are suffering from hunger, with seventy thousand already malnourished. He also warned that patients with diabetes and kidney conditions are at risk and are experiencing severe episodes due to malnutrition.

The Director-General of Gaza's Ministry of Health described this stage of famine as the most dangerous yet, with many people collapsing in the streets.

Indeed, this is a tragedy, a vast catastrophe, and a profound disgrace for all institutions, organisations, and the so-called international community. It is also a source of deep shame for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation—despite being the world's second-largest body after the UN, representing Muslim states and nations, it has done nothing. The same applies to the Arab League: Where is it? What is it doing? What, in general, are Arab governments doing?

Alongside the starvation, the Israeli enemy continues its killing, mass genocide, and forced displacement, driving people into extremely cramped and uninhabitable areas. Even after forcing the displaced to move into those so-called 'safe zones', the Israeli enemy does not cease targeting and killing the starving displaced individuals there.

One of its tactics to intensify thirst involves forcing civilians to move from areas where some water might still be available to ones where there is none, aiming to deprive them of water and exacerbate their suffering.

In this horrendous, intensely painful, and heartbreaking tragedy, the Palestinian people feel utterly forsaken, especially by Arabs and, more broadly, by Muslims, as the responsibility falls on them before all others.

All Palestinians cannot help but wonder what is wrong with Arabs and Muslims: Why this silence? Why this passive spectatorship in the face of such calamity? What has become of the human, Islamic, and moral responsibility towards this people—who are part of this very Ummah—against an enemy that is a foe to everyone and threatens them all?

If Arabs do not stand with the Palestinian people in the face of this clear and longstanding injustice—prolonged by their own shortcomings and worsened by their own inaction—then for what cause and against what injustice will they ever unite? With which people or segment of this Ummah will they ever stand? How could they stand with one another if they show such a state of passivity towards this evident injustice and immense tragedy?

Such a state of passivity and spectatorship signifies a collective death of conscience and a widespread betrayal of values among entire regimes and their subdued populations, including elites, many religious scholars, political and social factions and currents. It represents a collective rejection of values; a sweeping abandonment of responsibility; a shirking of religious, moral, and human duties; and a neglect of issues whose consequences pose a danger to all. It is, in every sense, a terrifying state.

The issue is not that Muslims are a small or weak ummah. This is not what has brought Muslims low. The Muslim Ummah—two billion strong—chose passivity! Across the Arab and Islamic world, hundreds of millions are falling short, with only a very small minority taking a clear and principled stand against the Israeli enemy, in support of the Palestinian people. These individuals have become rare exceptions and are now targeted even from within by regimes, entities, and powers aligned with the enemies, which hold a hostile and negative position against those who support the Palestinian people. This reality is deeply shameful.

This reflects the worst moral numbness and a shocking denial of innate human values in this era, and it carries grave repercussions, as it allows Zionist criminality to operate freely across the globe.

Yielding to and turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy in Gaza with American partnership is a blatant violation of human life in general and a carte blanche for Zionist criminality worldwide. Zionism is global in its goals. It was crafted and established by the Jews to serve as a worldwide tool of power, not just limited to Palestine. Though it started there, its agenda spans the globe, with two wings: the American wing and the Israeli wing. Its orientations and objectives are universal, and it operates openly according to its well-known and declared goals. This Zionist movement is aggressive, criminal, unjust, and corrupting, aiming to subjugate peoples—first Arabs, then other Muslims, and ultimately extending its reach to all humanity.

Zionism is the architect of the 'Golden Billion' ideology, calling for the extermination of all other communities. It has inherited a legacy of criminality, colonialism, and greed: It seeks to seize the wealth of nations and subject them to abuse, enslavement, humiliation, and subjugation; it works to erase their identities and strip them of freedom and independence. This is the Zionist project in action—carried out through its arms: America, Israel, and Britain.

The Arab approach to the Palestinian cause has always been, and continues to be, weak and erratic. From the earliest days of the tragedy—when the Jewish Zionist movement began its seizure of Palestine under British sponsorship and Western support—the Arab response was feeble. It never rose to the level of responsibility, the severity of the threat, or the scale of the challenge. They failed to reform their weak approach that lacked appropriate planning. That approach never evolved into a more effective one; instead, it declined—culminating in the disgraceful and shameless normalisation by some Arab regimes with the Israeli enemy. This normalisation is not merely about having normal relations with a criminal, occupying entity hostile to this Ummah. In fact, it amounts to collaboration with an enemy that targets this Ummah, both in its faith and its worldly affairs, and holds no respect whatsoever for the Muslim Ummah—an enemy keeps violating this Ummah with hatred and criminality. Everyone knows what this enemy does to it.

This path of weakness has brought us to the current state, where the Israeli enemy is certain that, no matter how atrocious its crimes in Gaza or elsewhere against the Palestinian people, there will be no unified Muslim or Arab stand strong enough to end its tyranny or stop its atrocities. The failure to take action by Arabs, before anyone else, and Muslims, with few exceptions, has directly contributed to the extent of Zionist Jewish criminality now inflicted upon the Palestinian people. It has reached the point where they dare to starve two million people in Gaza in a manner that is blatant, declared, and openly contemptuous of everything this world claims to uphold: the laws and teachings of Allah, international law, United Nations charters, and the rights and norms recognised globally. This criminality is brazen, open, and grotesque—an affront to all humanity. However, this brazenness is the product of a long-standing path of weakness and passivity. That path has now descended, in some quarters, into outright betrayal: a condition of collaboration and collusion with the enemy.

Over twenty-two months of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, starvation has accompanied this assault from the outset. However, it has now reached a perilous and all-encompassing stage: a total halt in food supplies for the vast majority of Gaza’s population. Yet throughout this entire period, Islamic and Arab regimes have continued sending ships laden with food and goods to the Israeli enemy! Worse still, during this time, they have increased both the pace and scale of their trade with this enemy! These are among the most powerful nations of the Ummah. One Islamic regime, in particular, publicly professes sympathy for the Palestinian people, yet its ships have delivered more goods to Israel than those of any other country in the world—measured in trade activity, commercial exchange, and economic cooperation.

The major Arab regimes are well known, and they persist in this path. In fact, some have gone so far as to offer alternatives to the Israeli enemy in response to Yemen’s blockade of Israeli navigation through the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. They sought to provide it with solutions and other alternatives to continue supplying it with commercial goods, food, and a variety of essential items—while at the same time besieging the Palestinian people. They have not taken even the bare minimum of serious action, such as severing diplomatic relations with the Israeli enemy, ending economic ties, or imposing a political boycott.

They have not even reached this basic level of action. On the contrary, some of them—whether covertly or both covertly and publicly—are pursuing steps that reinforce their commitment to full normalisation with the Israeli enemy, while showing hostility towards those who oppose it. This is deeply regrettable. It is a betrayal of Islamic principles!

That is why we are witnessing two parallel tracks. One is the track of the Israeli enemy, operating at the highest level of aggression, brutality, tyranny, and injustice:

  • committing genocide against women and children;
  • seeking the total destruction of the entire Gaza Strip—bulldozing, demolishing, and even bringing in contractors to flatten what remains of the homes, erasing every sign and aspect of life in Gaza;
  • killing women and children, the elderly and the young, with utter savagery; and
  • using starvation and thirst as a weapon.

In committing all these crimes, the Israeli enemy acts without restraint, showing no regard for anything, including values, ethics, and laws, nor taking into account the possibility of a response from the Arab or Islamic side. It is held back by nothing, acting with brazen impudence, criminality, and tyranny.

As I have repeated in many speeches, the negative, disgraceful, passive, and complicit position of Arabs, before anyone else, towards the Palestinian cause and the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has undoubtedly had a detrimental impact on the positions of other Islamic countries, which might otherwise have taken stronger positions than they do now. Countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and others would have adopted stronger positions had the Arab states themselves taken a stronger stand. However, it is well known that the major Arab regimes take a negative stance towards anyone who actively engages in support of the Palestinian cause. This explains their deeply negative position towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, which, in their eyes, is guilty of the 'crime' of genuinely supporting the Palestinian people and surpassing them in doing so. Their orientation is entirely different—they do not want anyone to genuinely support the Palestinian cause or offer it any meaningful backing. This is a deeply regrettable reality.

Therefore, there is this Israeli track that is marked by the highest levels of criminality, aggression, brutality, and tyranny and clearly seeks to liquidate the Palestinian cause entirely and force the complete displacement of the Palestinian people from Gaza and even the West Bank as well. It seeks to achieve this through concrete, practical steps, so this is not mere rhetoric. In fact, it has been explicitly expressed by the Israeli side and by the Americans. Trump himself reiterated his explicit statement regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip. Hence, the Israeli enemy is pursuing its goals and carrying out its crimes with the utmost intensity.

At the same time, there is another track within the Arab and Islamic world: a path intended to pacify and discourage our Ummah and its peoples from taking any serious stand in support of the Palestinian people. Despite all that the Israeli enemy has committed—not only against Gaza but also against Al-Quds, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the West Bank, and all of Palestine—the prevailing trend within the Arab and Islamic world is one that seeks to suppress and paralyse the Ummah. Each time the Israeli enemy escalates—through aggression, displacement, destruction, or other heinous crimes—the Ummah grows ever more shackled, passive, and unmoved, as if nothing is happening in Palestine. This could not be clearer.

They claim to seek peace, but in reality, it is nothing but surrender! They now sell surrender in the name of peace. But what kind of peace is possible with an enemy so savage and criminal—one that rapes, violates, occupies, kills, and commits the vilest atrocities, while recognising no rights for this Ummah? Even its actions in Lebanon and Syria are plain for all to see! Still, all they talk about is peace and nothing but peace—a rhetoric meant to hold the Ummah back from any response or action.

While the Israeli enemy commits genocide, widespread destruction, and forced displacement, they continue to speak to our Ummah and our peoples about peace, urging them not to act! In reality, this is nothing but an effort to shackle the Ummah, restrain it, demoralise it, discourage it, and prevent any reaction or support for the Palestinian people. Even as it carries out all these crimes, the Israeli enemy openly declares that it will never recognise a Palestinian state—not even on part of Palestinian land, not even at the modest level once sought by the Palestinian Authority: a form of submissive, powerless self-rule under Israeli control. Not even that is acceptable to the Israeli enemy. {'Have they a share in dominion? If so, they would not have given anyone so much as the speck on a date stone'}"An-Nisa 4:53"—such is how Allah described them in the Holy Quran.

Raising slogans of peace and normalisation and spreading a sense of despair and defeat—as clearly seen in the media and the educational and cultural activities of many regimes—can only be seen as a service to the Israeli agenda. In fact, the Israeli enemy is not interested in pursuing peace, nor does it show any intention of even considering it. As we have said, it operates with the highest levels of criminality, aggression, and oppression, and is actively working towards its ultimate goal: to liquidate the Palestinian cause entirely.

They also engage in distorting the position of those who act in support of the Palestinian people. A large portion of the media activity in many Arab regimes has shifted to targeting those who stand with the Palestinian people, through defamation, casting doubt, insults, and propaganda campaigns that adopt the Israeli and American logic, merely rendered in Arabic. It is the same message, different language. This is truly regrettable!

In many Arab countries, it is prohibited to hold any public activity in support of the Palestinian people. Indeed, this is the reality in many Arab states: If anyone of the public takes to the streets in protest, he will be suppressed and prohibited. It is prohibited to express solidarity with the Palestinian people through any form of public activity, whether demonstrations, symposia, events, or peaceful grassroots activities. This reality parallels what is happening in the West, where any criticism of the Israeli enemy is silenced under the banner of 'anti-Semitism'. Some among the Arabs seek, though under a different pretext, to strictly prohibit any criticism of the Israeli enemy and any form of support or solidarity with the Palestinian people. It is nonetheless banned, punishable, and subject to severe punishments and measures: either execution, imprisonment, or heavy fines. This is a clearly observable reality. The situation is not just one of passivity or neglect. Rather, it follows a trajectory that empowers the Israeli enemy, emboldening it to act with impunity and escalate to these alarming and dangerous measures.

Zionist Jewish criminality is ideologically driven, stemming from a deeply malicious cultural and intellectual foundation—marked by extreme misguidance, evil, and hostility. It is not an ordinary kind of criminality. Zionist Jews are brought up from an early age on doctrines and beliefs that embed in them a profoundly negative view of other human societies, viewing them as nonhuman. The Israeli enemy and the Zionist Jews do not acknowledge Arabs, even those who have normalised relations with them, as being of human origin. Rather, they regarded them as mere creatures or animals in human form—deemed suitable only to serve the Israeli enemy and the Jews. This is how they are depicted in Zionist culture and belief systems.

Look at the distorted texts they hold—presented under the name of the Old Testament—and consider the content of these texts: They promote a profoundly negative, contemptuous, and permissive view towards all human societies and instill deep-rooted hatred—a hatred fused with permissiveness. And along with that come greedy ambitions. This type of indoctrination produces a savage and criminal mentality that bears no shred of human compassion towards our communities. That is why they truly pose a real danger to this Ummah. What they do is not merely a tactic, nor individual actions, nor unintended mistakes; rather, they commit these acts deliberately, driven by a malicious and deviant ideological background—one of extreme misguidance and wickedness—which entrenches a negative and contemptuous view that condones the violation of our Islamic societies and others. This is not to mention their intense hatred and immense greed: an insatiable appetite for our homelands, our wealth, our countries, and anything they can exploit within our Ummah. This is an extremely dangerous state of affairs.

This is why we must act according to divine law: Allah (Glory be to Him) said in the Holy Quran, {'And were it not for Allah repelling some people by means of others, the earth would indeed become corrupted'}"Al-Baqarah 2:251". Given their beliefs that, as previously mentioned, ideologise criminality and justify criminal practices—including the killing of children and women, genocide through starvation and killing in all its forms, and the most heinous crimes against all categories of humanity: children, women, the elderly, the sick, the wounded, the disabled—their evil cannot be restrained except by acting in accordance with this divine law: {'And were it not for Allah repelling some people by means of others, the earth would indeed become corrupted.'} They are criminals to the core. They kill for amusement. Their souls incite them to murder others arbitrarily, out of sheer criminality, aggression, and hatred—for the pettiest of reasons, and often for no reason at all! They are a curse upon this Ummah and upon all of humanity. It is therefore imperative to act in accordance with divine law; otherwise, their tyranny will only intensify, their evil will spread and expand, and their aggression will begin to target other nations and peoples—those who wrongly imagine themselves to be safe, simply because they follow a policy of appeasement, flattery, and compromise and act in a way that serves the interests of the enemy, under the illusion that the enemy will appreciate or reward them for it. This is sheer foolishness.

The Israeli enemy is filled with deep and intense hatred. Just look at all that the Israelis are doing in the Gaza Strip, and consider the root of it—their aggression and criminality is staggering. They even steal donkeys from residents in Gaza, as people have come to rely on donkeys for transportation amid fuel shortages. And yet, they have stripped people there even of this basic means of mobility. What they are doing is even worse than that, but this showcases how their hatred, violence, and corruption extend to such basic, desperate needs. They seek to deprive you of every good. They do not wish for you to have anything beneficial. Rather, they want to make you suffer in every way possible. In fact, they excel in that: Given their savagery and their criminal mindset, they know precisely how to engineer the deepest levels of human agony, and they are relentless in carrying it out.

In this very context, one of the most horrific and outrageous examples of foolishness and manifest misguidance is the demand by some for our brothers in the Hamas movement to surrender their weapons! Among those making such demands is the Palestinian Authority itself. The Palestinian Authority is exhibiting staggering foolishness—if not something even more troubling: infiltration. Within its ranks are those who are profoundly naive, and others who actively serve the interests of the Israeli enemy. Given the current reality and all that the Israeli enemy is perpetrating, how could they demand that Hamas disarm?

Were justice, truth, and wisdom to prevail, and were undeniable facts given their due weight, it would be the Israeli enemy that should not be permitted to possess a single weapon—not even a knife—let alone be supplied with all forms of deadly, destructive arms, which it does not use solely in combat or against those who fight it, but rather to exterminate women and children.

When America supplies the Israeli enemy with thousands upon thousands of the most destructive and incendiary bombs and other means of killing, including all kinds of missiles and munitions, along with the weapons it receives from Britain, Germany, France, and other Western nations, one cannot help but ask against whom is all of this being used? Is it only in military confrontation, against those who fight it? No. It is being used—openly, and in full view of the entire world—to exterminate civilians, to kill all the people of Gaza. It deploys what it refers to as 'fire belts' to obliterate entire neighbourhoods, to kill entire populations. Its aim is to kill the greatest number possible of children, women, and residents of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli enemy does not use this weaponry solely in military engagements against combatants. Rather, it deliberately targets children, women, and defenceless civilians.

Despite all of that, some have the audacity to tell the Palestinian fighters—those striving in the path of Allah with right on their side—'Surrender your weapons!' Meanwhile in Lebanon, certain factions and parties with a deeply compromised history of collaboration with the Israeli enemy and a legacy of betrayal and criminality are now mobilising. Acting under American directives, they aim to pressure for the disarmament of Hezbollah—whose weapons exist to protect Lebanon, and to preserve its freedom, independence, and resilience. This kind of activity serves only the enemy. It is a disgraceful, foolish, and malign logic. We, the Muslim Ummah, are most in need of weapons.

Those Arabs—whether in Palestine, Lebanon, or elsewhere—who call for the disarming of those standing against the Israeli enemy and resisting the Israeli and American onslaught, should look at their highest ideal: America, which they glorify, pledge allegiance to, and regard as a god besides Allah.

The American Constitution guarantees every American citizen the right to bear arms! Why, then, do some want us disarmed, precisely when we are facing this vicious Israeli-American onslaught—marked by savagery, criminality, tyranny, and the violation of all that is sacred? Although this campaign targets everything we hold sacred—our religion, our principles, our beliefs, our Islamic sanctities, and even our very lives—some want us to have no weapons to defend ourselves? They want this Ummah to become easy prey for its enemies—heedless of the stark, undeniable lessons of history.

There are clear examples from Palestine itself, from Lebanon, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and from many places throughout history. Those who were disarmed or laid down their weapons—while being targeted by a hateful, criminal, tyrannical enemy—were met with nothing but genocide, humiliation, and slaughter. The lessons are numerous, the details extensive—far too many for this setting. Take Lebanon, for example: When did the Sabra and Shatila massacre occur? It was after the Palestinian fighters had left, and their weapons had been surrendered. And when did major atrocities take place in Palestine? It was when the Palestinian people lacked sufficient arms, failed to mobilise militarily in the early stages, and were denied the Arab and Islamic support needed to have weapons.

The enemy, meanwhile, receives every form of support, including the most destructive, deadly, and incendiary weapons. Yet some still have the audacity to demand disarming our downtrodden, violated peoples—foremost among them the Palestinian people—that are facing subjugation and collective annihilation. There is no need to say that our peoples are the ones who most need weapons, since they are the ones being attacked, wronged, subjugated, and oppressed. They also stand in the right—on a just and legitimate path.

The heroic resilience of our fellow mujahidin in Gaza continues. Their bravery is rarely equalled, and the footage proves it:

  • footage of point-blank encounters with Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles, as mujahidin place explosives atop the tanks and detonate them;
  • footage of lethal ambushes delivering devastating blows to the enemy.

The Israeli enemy itself admits it is facing a major dilemma in the Gaza Strip, where the level of resistance is unprecedented for its military—the Israeli criminal gangs. It is in a serious crisis indeed.

On the battlefield, the Israeli military is confronting a small band of faithful mujahidin, operating with the most basic means—far less than what even the smallest military force might possess. Yet despite these extremely limited capabilities, they have shown remarkable effectiveness. For twenty-two months, they have inflicted sustained losses on the enemy, held their ground, and fought with exceptional bravery—driving the enemy into a clear and undeniable crisis. The Israeli army is facing deep issues with its manpower: a surge in psychological disorders, mental breakdowns, and widespread desertion among its so-called reserve forces. This model confirms the correctness of the chosen path and direction.

The barbarity of the Israeli enemy—its targeting of civilians, the defenceless, the extermination of children and women, and the collective starvation of Gaza’s population—does not reflect military might or constitute a military victory. It is nothing more than pure criminality and profoundly horrific crimes.

The Al-Qassam Brigades have carried out around fifteen operations, including ambushes, destruction of enemy vehicles, and sniper operations. The Al-Quds Brigades have also conducted major and significant operations. The prevailing spirit among the mujahidin in Gaza is one of cooperation, unity, and collective effort—something truly important and admirable.

As for the demonstrations in support of Gaza, demonstrations took place in Turkey, Mauritania, Bahrain, the Maghreb, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Iraq, and the West Bank. Demonstrations and public gatherings were also held across Europe, the United States, and other countries—seventeen in total.

Among the free and active voices in our Ummah are those of the Muftis of Oman and Libya, who have taken honourable stands. They stand in stark contrast to the disgraceful position of Al-Azhar, which is an influential Islamic educational institution. Yesterday, it retracted a statement in which it had condemned Israeli crimes, deleting it shortly after publication. This is both shameful and deeply disappointing! How do they reconcile this with Allah's saying, {' those who deliver the messages of Allah and have no awe of anyone except Allah'}"Al-Ahzab 33:39"? How can they yield to false and hollow political considerations?!

This reflects the state of many religious scholars who have chosen silence, submission, and the refusal to take a stand. In fact, some openly and explicitly discourage any action—these very people used to act as mouthpieces inciting discord among Muslims under takfiri banners and issuing fatwas calling for so-called jihad in Syria, Iraq, and elsewhere. And now, they blatantly undermine any practical efforts to support the Palestinian people or confront the Israeli enemy.

As for the Freedom Flotilla, its 36th voyage is currently underway—a symbolic attempt to break the siege on Gaza. At this critical stage, a significant opportunity lies before Muslims—if only they would start paying heed. Worldwide condemnation of the Israeli enemy is at an all-time high. There is growing outrage at its crimes and increasing recognition of the legitimacy of the Palestinian cause and the severity of the Palestinian plight. The true nature of the Israeli enemy has been exposed—as have its American and pro-Zionist European allies—at a level never seen before. The global climate is now in favour of Muslims, if only they would recognise this opening, act upon it, fear Allah (Glory be to Him), obey His commands, and uphold their human, religious, and moral obligations. These duties are essential for safeguarding themselves. Yet, regrettably, the failure to act is profoundly disappointing. As we have said, there is complicity. Some states’ responses are so weak that they pale in comparison to the expressions of solidarity and compassion voiced by some of the most distant and remote nations.

Regarding Yemen's support front (the land of faith and jihad) in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, our support operations continue unabated. This week alone, many operations were carried out against the Israeli enemy in occupied Palestine, involving the launch of eleven hypersonic missiles and drones. These included strikes on Yaffa, Isdud, the Negev, and Umm Al-Rashrash—all against Israeli targets.

In the Red Sea, the naval blockade against the Israeli enemy continues. The port of Umm Al-Rashrash—referred to by the enemy as 'Eilat Port'—has once again been fully shut down, by the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him). This has caused major losses for the Israeli enemy and represents a comprehensive defeat. Some European newspapers even consider it a significant defeat to the Israeli enemy.

A total of 1,679 missiles, aerial drones, and drone vessels have been used since the beginning of support operations for Gaza.

The enemy attempted to halt or exert pressure on Yemen to make it retreat from its position, but it ultimately failed. In the first and second rounds of aggression by America, Britain, and Israel, 2,843 airstrikes and naval bombardments were carried out against Yemen, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded. Yet the Israeli enemy failed completely, and so did the Americans, in stopping Yemen from standing firmly with Gaza and supporting the Palestinian people as part of jihad for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him). Now is the time for jihad more than ever—on a clear battlefield, for a clear and just cause recognised by the entire world, against an explicit and open enemy of Islam and Muslims. Where are the rest of the Ummah, especially those who once operated under Islamic and jihadist banners? Why are they not now mobilising to support the Palestinian people?

As Yemenis—at the official, grassroots, and military levels, and across all spheres—we will spare no effort in supporting the Palestinian people. In light of this tragedy, where we share the pain, sorrow, and suffering of the Palestinian people, we are actively exploring further escalatory measures and working to enhance our military capabilities to strike and pressure the enemy more effectively.

As for public activities, they remain active and diverse. Leading the way are scholarly gatherings, including a recent meeting of scholars and preachers in Al-Hudaydah. Yemen’s religious engagement sets a powerful example, offering a source of inspiration for scholars and mosque preachers throughout the Islamic world. This faith-driven voice—genuinely expressive of Islam, particularly in matters of duty and jihad in the path of Allah (Glory be to Him)—should serve as a model for all religious scholars and preachers globally.

Tribal rallies also continue and are of great significance. The tribal system plays a fundamental role in our country, forming the very backbone of Yemeni society.

Demonstrations and public gatherings persist. A huge rally was held just yesterday at Sana'a University, which also serves as a model for all universities in the Islamic world. But where are the others? Where are the teachers, academics, and students—those who should be leading in public consciousness and acting with awareness? Where is their voice? Sana'a University provides a living example—both a model and a source of inspiration.

Mobilisation efforts continue across multiple tracks, with training as a top priority. Over 1,007,000 people have now been trained—an impressive and meaningful achievement. While the Yemeni people, as I have often said, are armed and battle-ready by instinct, training remains essential. It is part of our preparation and in obedience to Allah’s command: {'Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power'}"Al-Anfal 8:60". This figure—over a million trainees—represents a major milestone in general mobilisation, not including the formal armed forces, who have also received repeated and advanced training through various phases.

In this context, I renew my appeal to the governments of the countries lying geographically between Yemen and Palestine to open land corridors for the Yemeni people so the mujahidin can move through these corridors. By Allah’s will, they will march in their hundreds of thousands to reach Palestine in support of the Palestinian people. This is what we hope for, what we seek, and what we strive to achieve.

The Yemeni people are deeply affected. Their voices, their expressions, their clenched fists, and their chants in marches bear powerful witness to the depth of their empathy and the strength of their resolve. Their participation in training activities, their steadfastness, the emotions they carry (grief and anguish on one hand, love, honour, and admiration for the Palestinian people on the other) the genuine sense of Islamic brotherhood, the recognition of the injustice endured by Palestinians, and as a people who also face injustice and share in that experience—all this positions our Yemeni people for advanced levels of solidarity and meaningful support.

That is why, by Allah’s grace, they remain steadfast despite all that they faced:

  • the American, British, and Israeli aggression;
  • the economic onslaught of blockades and hostile sanctions; and
  • media campaigns aimed at shaking their stance—all of which have failed.

The demonstrations and public gatherings held last Friday were massive, impressive, and worthy of this nation—Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom. Our Yemeni people truly manifest their belief through honest, brave, and resolute actions. On that single day, 1,266 demonstrations and public gatherings were held.

This week, the suffering endured by the Palestinian people in Gaza reached unprecedented levels. In response, I renew my call for unprecedented, million-strong demonstrations to be held by my dear Yemeni people—the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad; the Yemen of loyalty that stands with the wronged in the face of tyrants and arrogant oppressors.

What I hope for in tomorrow’s demonstrations (Allah willing), on Friday, is that they surpass anything seen before, for we are in an exceptional moment, in light of the atrocities of the Israeli enemy in Gaza—which are met with appalling, shameful, and humiliating silence from most Islamic governments in the Arab world and beyond—and the cries of the Palestinian people, the desperate pleas of those tortured and starved in Gaza, many of whom have now lost their voices. Their unprecedented suffering calls for an unprecedented turnout tomorrow. Let tomorrow’s demonstrations be an answer to Allah’s call, a form of jihad in His path, and an act of solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. Standing with the Palestinian people in the face of this oppression and suffering is a moral and human duty. Those who still carry a living human conscience and those who hold a sincere connection to Islam and faith cannot fail to recognise the urgency of this responsibility.

I hope to see a massive turnout in the capital, Sana’a, and across all governorates, districts, and public squares.

May Allah (Glory be to Him) grant you immense reward.

Your continued, massive turnout each week is a form of jihad, and it will never be lost with Allah (Glory be to Him). It reinforces the values of faith and humanity, cultivates your awareness and belief, and elevates you in both. At the same time, it will be inscribed in your record as a reward with Allah, Who never allows the efforts of the believers to go unrewarded.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
