Speech by Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Latest Developments

Thursday, 06 Safar1447 A.H. (31 July 2025 A.D.)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In the latest developments of the savage, brutal, and criminal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, children have emerged as the foremost symbol of the suffering and tragedy. This highlights both the immense suffering and injustice endured by the Palestinian people and the level of Israeli criminality and savagery. It also reveals the true nature of the Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza. Children are at the forefront of these events and this plight. Their profound suffering exposes the extent of the global and Islamic abandonment—an extremely shameful reality.

One hundred thousand children in the Gaza Strip are facing the risk of death from starvation, including forty thousand infants. These infants suffer from a complete lack of baby formula, as the Israeli enemy has banned its entry into Gaza, leaving mothers no choice but to feed their children water instead of milk.

The Israeli enemy deliberately targets infants in every possible way. They are part of its operational targets against the Palestinian people in Gaza:

  • It bans infant formula because it seeks to annihilate infants.
  • It also prevents the entry of nutritional supplements.
  • And like the rest of the population, children suffer from the blockade on food supplies.

Every day brings with it new martyrs due to starvation. Each day, a new group of martyrs falls as a result of starvation, exterminated by the Israeli enemy through deliberate starvation. The reality is far more severe than what the numbers convey. The figures announced in the media usually reflect only those who make it to the few remaining hospitals, which themselves cannot provide proper medical care due to a lack of essential supplies. These hospitals are not exempt from the siege—they too are targeted and denied access to medicines and other essential supplies. These hospitals are being deliberately targeted as part of the ongoing siege. As a result, the statistics often share only the numbers of those who make it to hospitals, whereas the suffering on the ground is far greater than what the numbers suggest.

Children are the most affected by this starvation, which claims more lives among them than any other group. After all, they are the most vulnerable and weakest segment. Indeed, children of all ages, especially infants, are the least able to survive the starvation deliberately imposed by the Israeli enemy in an effort to exterminate them through this extremely brutal and criminal method. Even unborn children are not spared. This week, a heart-wrenching scene documented by media outlets circulated widely, revealing the sheer savagery and criminality of the Zionist Jewish entity: women being bombed even while giving birth! Imagine that level of barbarity and total absence of human emotions and values—targeting mothers while giving birth! A mother is martyred in a direct Israeli airstrike while in labour, and her baby enters the world oppressed from the very first moment of life.

The tragedy and oppression endured by the Palestinian people are all-encompassing. In Gaza alone, this reality grips some two million people in total suffering. Famine has consumed everyone, and intensified targeting spares no one. They have been forcibly displaced and confined to densely crowded zones, only to be attacked in those very areas. This is a continuous policy. The Israeli enemy has squeezed hundreds of thousands into approximately 12% of Gaza's territory, creating extreme overcrowding. It confines them to narrow zones it labels 'safe', while calling the rest 'red zones', and it then attacks them relentlessly in those declared 'safe zones'. They are starved, bombarded from the air, shelled by artillery, and picked off by snipers—subjected to every conceivable form of lethal targeting.

In the midst of the widespread suffering experienced by all in the Gaza Strip, the suffering of women stands out as a particularly landmark issue. This was addressed in last week's speech, especially regarding the cases of pregnancy, where the hardship is severe. Pregnant women need specialised care, yet they face extreme and worsening hardship. This suffering continues through childbirth and the postnatal period. In that period, a woman who gives birth needs both medical attention and adequate nutrition, as does her newborn. However, neither mother nor newborn there receives the necessary care—nor is such care even available. Pregnant women suffer from starvation, and even after giving birth, they remain trapped in the same conditions, with their newborns coming into life only to face the same starvation. This reflects the injustice perpetrated by the Israeli military—an appalling level of violence, cruelty, aggression, and a complete absence of human values and moral standards. Such is the Israeli enemy; such are the Jews. This is Zionism, which breeds such horrific brutality, criminality, and aggressiveness.

Alongside the crimes of starvation, the Israeli enemy continues its campaign of extermination through killings—through air strikes, artillery shelling, sniper fire, and other lethal means. This week, during which a so-called 'humanitarian truce' was announced, the Israeli enemy killed and targeted more than four thousand Palestinians. As is often the case, the majority of those targeted were women, children, and forcibly displaced persons confined to narrow and overcrowded areas. Many of them were also seeking food, striving to obtain nourishment to ease their own hunger and that of their children and families. It is an immense suffering.

The Israeli enemy continues to kill and target Palestinians, using death traps crafted through engineered starvation and other savage, hostile tactics. Every day brings a toll of martyrs, who are struck down while attempting to obtain food. In addition to all this, the Israeli enemy has employed yet another tactic—one that serves, on the one hand, to harm and target the population, and on the other, to deceive the world and mislead global public opinion. This comes at a time when international uproar has erupted over the extent of starvation and the horrific oppression being inflicted, as well as the deeply tragic scenes of famine affecting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Horrifying scenes of children reduced to skeletal figures, and of people both young and old, are truly dreadful. These deeply disturbing images are a disgrace to humanity. They are shameful to those living in this age who present themselves as part of a civilised, advanced, and progressive world. They are especially shameful to the Western world, which portrays itself as the leader of humanity and the global community under the banner of civilisation and within the framework of liberal values. These scenes expose the true nature of the Western world, for it is complicit in all the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people. In response to the global outrage, the Israeli enemy attempted a new trick under the guise of delivering humanitarian airdrops. What did it do? It carried out three airdrop operations, most of which landed in what the Israeli enemy itself designates as 'red zones'—areas where any Palestinian who enters is immediately shot and killed. Indeed, some people, driven by hunger and suffering, tried to reach those areas, only to be instantly killed by the Israeli enemy.

The operation of airdropping aid might be reasonable in some parts of the world where there is genuinely no possibility of delivering food and supplies by other means. However, this is not the case in the Gaza Strip. There is no justification whatsoever for resorting to such a method. It serves, on the one hand, as a means of deception, and on the other, as a way to toy with the dignity and lives of people in Gaza. It is perfectly feasible to bring food, humanitarian aid, and essential life supplies into Gaza by land and to deliver them to the agencies responsible for distribution, such as United Nations workers, its organisations, other humanitarian groups, including the Palestinian Red Crescent. This is fully possible. The only obstacle is the Israeli enemy's refusal; there are no other barriers preventing entry and distribution. Yet the Israeli enemy deliberately evades its moral and humanitarian obligation to allow the entry of food and supplies, instead resorting to this method, which is no different from what the Americans did with their death traps. Both sides share responsibility for this crime and this method, whose outcome is evident in the daily toll of killings.

The Israeli enemy carried out three airdrops—barely equivalent to the load of two lorries. What can two lorries possibly do for the two million people in the Gaza Strip—what significance can such a minuscule amount truly hold, especially when most of it did not even reach the so-called 'safe zones'? In fact, most of it landed in areas into which the Israeli enemy had already advanced, where its soldiers were present and ready to kill directly. If any Palestinian seeks that aid in those areas designated as free-fire zones, he will be killed immediately. This is what's happening.

The Israeli enemy is using deception as a tactic. While the actual daily need for the Palestinian people in Gaza is estimated at around 600 lorries' worth of supplies—food, medical necessities, and other essential items including fuel—the Israeli enemy resorts to ineffective methods that fail to meet these needs, not even partially, and does so in a deceptive manner. Moreover, even the few, limited aid drops that manage to arrive endanger lives: small shipments dropped in wooden crates that could kill whoever they fall on. And even if they do reach the ground, Israeli restrictions forbid any form of organised distribution. That is because among the Israeli enemy's top priorities in Gaza is the prevention of any attempt to organise the distribution of aid. It wants chaos to dominate the entire situation. This is to make people fight over it; therefore, conflict and struggle arise over the tiniest bit of aid. The Israeli enemy engineers every imaginable form of suffering for the Palestinian people, and delights in doing so. It is practised and unrestrained in this cruelty. In short, it devises all forms of torment, injustice, and crime and takes pleasure in them.

That is why no one should ever be deceived by the so-called 'humanitarian truce' it announced, during which it continues to kill and relentlessly target the Palestinian people, or by this method. Footage from Gaza, widely circulated in the media, confirms that this method is nothing but deception. It is ineffective and solves nothing. It does nothing to ease the hunger and suffering endured by the Palestinian people. The situation remains exactly as it was. The tragedy continues, and the Israeli enemy—alongside the Americans—continues to deceive everyone.

In an act of sheer savagery, malice, and delight in the suffering of the Palestinian people—through starvation, killing, and thirst—and as a provocative expression of contempt towards Arabs and Muslims at large, the Israeli enemy sent a group of Zionist Jews, from among the usurping settler herds, to hold a barbecue near the Gaza border. This grotesque act was intended to express their enjoyment in the suffering of the people of Gaza, who remain trapped under one of the most horrific sieges and starvation campaigns in modern history. This is the reality of the Israeli enemy: committing the most atrocious crimes and taking pleasure in them— delighting in the suffering of the victim, in the torment of the oppressed and persecuted. It delights, rejoices, and finds comfort in the criminality it commits against everyone, both young and old, even children, including infants! This reveals, on the one hand, a deep level of brutality and, on the other hand, a clear contempt for Muslims as a whole.

Israeli soldiers—the criminal gangs that call themselves 'the Israeli army'—also destroyed large quantities of humanitarian aid intended for the Gaza Strip at the Karam Abu Salem crossing. Over a thousand lorries' worth of food, medical supplies, and bottled water were either set on fire or buried in the ground. This happened while the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are starving—those supplies were meant for them and sent specifically to relieve their suffering.

Even before its war on aid and its efforts to block humanitarian assistance from reaching the Palestinian people, the Israeli enemy had already destroyed every aspect of life in the Gaza Strip. It targeted agriculture bombing and bulldozing farms and using all forms of targeting. It worked to eliminate agriculture in the Gaza Strip altogether, aiming to prevent the population from cultivating or harvesting anything at all. It also targeted markets and commercial shops, destroying them along with everything else. It has destroyed the Gaza Strip and even continues its campaign of destruction, aiming to completely obliterate the entire Gaza Strip—demolishing and blowing up everything in it. It has destroyed neighbourhoods and cities and targeted all housing units. It is still continuing this, even employing contractors to demolish what remains of the buildings.

Despite having already destroyed all means of life in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy turned to blocking the entry of humanitarian aid—the only remaining lifeline through which the Palestinian people could access food and medicine, as they no longer have any resources left to meet their basic needs of food. The Israeli enemy acts with such utter brutality and criminality. Even fishing is prohibited; it prevents Palestinians from fishing, targeting fishermen repeatedly. Whenever it sees a group of fishermen entering the sea, it attacks them. Thus, the Israeli enemy commits the most heinous crimes.

The whole world is witnessing this tragedy and oppression. The tragedy of the Palestinian people, their plight, and the scale of Zionist Jewish crimes against them are no longer hidden from anyone. Scenes of this oppression are broadcast through all media outlets around the globe, and most nations—across continents from East to West—have voiced criticism of the Israeli enemy for its crimes, starvation, and the grave humanitarian tragedy: Statements, declarations, and remarks continue to be issued. Furthermore, the voice of human conscience resounds through free activists who take to the streets in protests, public gatherings, and marches, despite facing harsh repression in some countries, as is the case in Germany and other European nations and in the United States as well.

However, in the face of such an immense level of criminality, which no one should remain silent about, directing criticism or issuing statements and condemnations is not enough. In other words, such horrific crimes must not be met with mere statements of denunciation and condemnation or expressions of sorrow and regret. Stopping there is far from sufficient. This demands action and practical measures.

The Israeli enemy relies entirely on the Americans and pays no attention to the voices of condemnation, denunciation, and rejection coming from all over the world. However, the Zionists are still concerned that there is a widespread global public anger, which leads people to hate them and see them for what they truly are—criminals, savages, and morally depraved. This worries the Israeli enemy and pushes it to intensify propaganda efforts to whitewash its grotesque and criminal image. Yet, it fails because the scale of its crimes is extremely enormous.

Perhaps, many countries—governments and regimes around the globe—recognise that it requires practical measures, rather than mere criticism, to put an end to Zionist Jewish crimes against the Palestinian people, but many of them, especially non-Muslim ones, consider that the primary responsibility to lead the charge and take action lies with Muslims and with Arabs at the forefront. This is because some nations see themselves not obligated to be more Arab than Arabs or to care about Muslim issues more than Muslims themselves. Muslims have a responsibility to address their own challenges. So what are they lacking? It is an ummah of two billion Muslims that has all the material and moral resources necessary to take powerful action.

Therefore, everyone around the world who sympathises with the Palestinian people or who is alarmed by the scale of the Zionist Jewish crimes against them, looks with astonishment at the position of this two-billion-strong Muslim Ummah and the Arabs among them, who number in the hundreds of millions and possess all the necessary means to take a firm and decisive position.

This brings us back to the major problem and dilemma, which is the passivity of the majority of Muslims, with a few exceptional cases in standing sincerely with the Palestinian people. In reality, the general state is one of passivity, with Arabs at the forefront: It begins with the official position and extends to that of the public, as the public is often influenced by the official position. In many countries, there is an explicit decision to suppress any grassroots mobilisation, ensuring that silence, stagnation, apathy, and indifference become the prevailing norm. What remains is little more than internalised sympathy—feelings and impressions, but no concrete action. This is a profoundly alarming situation. Therefore, it is essential to highlight this issue: Why is there such Arab and Islamic inaction?

The extent and scale of the tyranny, oppression, and crimes committed by the Zionist Jewish entity against the Palestinian people have undoubtedly been exacerbated by Arab inaction. In fact, it is more than just inaction; it has reached the level of an outrightly negative and shameful official Arab stance in most cases. We are speaking here of the prevailing, dominant pattern.

To fully grasp the negative role played by the official Arab position—one that has not only failed to support the Palestinian people or stand by them but has, in fact, gone so far as to support the Israeli enemy—every Arab and every Muslim must know the following:

  • The Israeli warplanes dropping American bombs on the Palestinian people to wipe them out in Gaza are powered by fuel sourced from Arab oil. Indeed, it is Arab oil that fuels those aircraft. Israeli tanks that advance to invade Gaza and massacre its people—the Arab, Muslim Palestinian people—run on Arab oil.
  • The $22 billion provided by America to the Israeli enemy during its aggression against Gaza came from the trillions of dollars poured into American hands by Arab states. The Arabs hand trillions of dollars to the Americans, and the Americans pass them on to the Israelis. This is how far things have declined!

You should also consider the other aspects pertinent to this disgraceful position in support of the Israeli enemy, which take many forms and go far beyond merely abandoning the Palestinian people: The state of stagnation among most Arab peoples and their complete failure to take any action—as if Palestine did not exist, as if there were no Palestinian people, no massacres, no crimes, no starvation, no such thing as the Palestinian people or Palestinian oppression—is not a state that happened spontaneously or naturally, as if these people have simply drifted into sleep, becoming unaware of what is happening, or knowing nothing. On the contrary, it is the result of official decisions in some Arab countries.

Some regimes and governments have officially prohibited their populations from taking any action in support of, or in solidarity with, the Palestinian people:

  • No activities are permitted in universities—not even the most basic forms of solidarity, such as events, demonstrations, marches, or symposia. Any practical step taken to support the Palestinian people is banned.
  • In some Arab states, it is officially prohibited to engage in any popular mobilisation, such as mass protests and marches, aimed at supporting the Palestinian people or opposing Israeli Zionist Jewish tyranny, crimes, and brutality. Thus, there are many forms of restriction.

Some Arab regimes have forged ties with the Israeli enemy under what they call 'normalisation', which includes opening up their airspace and airports for its use: This continues to take place across various Arab countries, where their regimes continue to follow this policy, which represents an advanced step in collaboration with the Israeli enemy. Among these regimes is the Saudi regime: Its airspace and airports remain consistently open to the Israeli enemy. It has not ceased this level of collaboration, despite the fact that it directly serves the interests of the Israeli enemy. Indeed, this collaboration has continued unabated, although it is within its power. In contrast, the Sultanate of Oman has closed its airspace to the Israeli enemy—a commendable move. However, the Saudi regime and other Arab regimes continue to keep their airspace and airports open to the Israeli enemy.

There is also economic collaboration with the Israeli enemy. While the Israeli enemy is starving even babies in Gaza and denying them baby formula, some Arab and Islamic countries continue to send vast shipments—thousands, even hundreds of thousands of tonnes— of various goods. This constitutes collaboration with the Israeli enemy, and they persist in it!

While the Israeli enemy escalates its tyranny and intensifies its oppression, brutality, and arrogance, committing the most horrific crimes and excelling in doing so—to the extent of targeting infants by depriving them of baby formula—these regimes have increased their commercial collaboration with the Israeli enemy during this very period! They have done so in order to compensate for the shortages the Israeli enemy is facing as a result of the blockade in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab Al-Mandab strait. Indeed, they are actively working to make up for the enemy's shortages caused by this blockade. This, too, is yet another form of collaboration with the Israeli enemy.

Regarding the official Arab position towards the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, several Arab regimes unjustly brand them as terrorists, despite the fact that all they are doing is defending their people, their dignity, and their sanctities, which are part of this Ummah. Indeed, Palestine is part of this Ummah; the Palestinian people are part of this Ummah. Therefore, they are defending this Ummah and its sanctities against an enemy that is truly an enemy to all.

Yet these regimes have neither lifted nor revoked this classification. They insist on maintaining it, even though removing it would be a significant step. Were these regimes to announce the removal of the terrorist label from the mujahidin in Gaza, acknowledge that they are fulfilling their rightful duty, and declare their support for them, this would be a commendable step. The Saudi regime is among those who continue to uphold this classification.

Thus, they take various steps that, in essence, amount to collaboration with the Israeli enemy. This is because labelling those who stand up to Israeli tyranny—those among the Palestinian people who rise to defend their honour, families, land, dignity, and the sanctities of this Ummah—as terrorists is a clear act of collaboration with the Israeli enemy. It is a form of collaboration to regard those who resist as being in the wrong and criminalise any position against the Israeli enemy. This position is not confined to Palestine alone but extends to others as well. In other words, alongside branding the Palestinian resistance movements as terrorists, they also label others who adopt a sincere and practical position against the Israeli enemy as terrorists, taking a hostile position towards them. This is precisely how they behave towards the rest of the Axis.

Such is the reality on the ground: There is collaboration with the Israeli enemy, along with deliberate efforts to suppress and restrain the peoples. However, this in itself does not excuse the peoples, for they have the ability to pressure their governments and to take unified, collective action. Even within the public sphere, where are the elites? The Palestinian people call out to this entire Ummah: They call upon governments and leaders, as well as the general public, including elites, parties, forces, factions, and various societal components. They are calling on everyone. And yet, even among the popular circles, why this stagnation? Why this inertia? This, too, reflects the reality of the situation— both officially and among the people —at a time when the Palestinian voice continues to cry out to all.

Where is the role of mosques among the public in Arab and Islamic countries? Where is the role of universities? Where is the role of media? Shouldn't these institutions be playing a vital role in awakening the Ummah—stirring it into action and instilling a sense of responsibility—through clear and practical steps and defined goals?

The public remains both influenced and restrained by ruling regimes, chief among them the Arab regimes, which have influenced the position of other countries, including many Islamic nations. Why, even now, do Arab regimes not take the initiative to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip as a purely humanitarian act? They do not even provide this most basic form of support to the Palestinian people.

As for bilateral tourism, Arab nations, or rather Arab regimes still allow and maintain such ties and collaboration with the Israeli enemy. The Saudi regime and other Arab regimes continue this type of ties and collaboration with this enemy. Economic collaboration, tourism, and so on—all continue to exist.

They have not adopted any form of boycott—neither diplomatic, political, nor economic—against the Israeli enemy. On the contrary, they persist in cooperation. This is a deeply saddening reality in the Arab and Islamic world! In turn, the Israeli enemy escalates its tyranny, its criminality, its savagery, for that is its very nature: It is a criminal enemy, devoid of human and moral values. Its criminality—as we mentioned—is ideologically driven, rooted in a false and oppressive intellectual background. It is nourished by this doctrine, which is infused with extremely intense hatred and immensely boundless ambition.

The Israeli enemy continues with its criminal path, yet it is met with collaboration, encouragement, and even collusion—much of which is in the shadows, while some is in the open, including that from the Palestinian Authority. What is the Palestinian Authority doing? Is it protecting the Palestinian people? It does not provide any basic level of protection. Instead, it collaborates with the Israeli enemy even in abducting and targeting the mujahidin, in torturing detainees, and in mistreating its own people—let alone what it calls 'security coordination' with the Israeli enemy. So what can be expected from others?

There is no doubt—and this is also confirmed by Western sources and leaked media reports—that there is active collaboration between the Israeli enemy and some Arab regimes, even in the realms of intelligence, information-sharing, and beyond. This collaboration involves targeting the Palestinian people and others Israel chooses to attack—whether in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, or Yemen.

With the exclusive partnership and full backing from America, along with the support from the broader West, the Israeli enemy proves through its escalating criminal conduct that tyrants and evildoers become more emboldened and extreme when met with inaction. This is a fundamental reality of life. That is, anyone who believes the Israeli enemy will cease its crimes and tyranny on its own, without facing opposition or action against it, is entirely deluded: Such a person fails to grasp reality, to understand people, and to have an evaluative perspective on people, on events, or on history.

The Israeli enemy is a hateful criminal. And the divine law set by Allah for confronting the evil of the wicked and curbing the excesses of tyrants and criminals is stated clearly in the Holy Quran: {'And were it not for Allah repelling some people by means of others, the earth would indeed become corrupted'}(Al-Baqarah 2:251).

The Israeli enemy's barbarity has escalated to such a level that it targets even infants and nursing mothers, the elderly and the young. It starves hundreds of thousands collectively, aiming to exterminate them en masse, and indiscriminately bombs everyone—the old and the young, children and women. With such brutality and savagery, the Israeli enemy poses a threat to life itself, to every individual, and to every society. In fact, it has a deeply rooted criminal disposition—born of an upbringing rooted in falsehood and of misguided, dark, and savage beliefs and ideological backgrounds. The result is always this extent of brutality and criminality. It poses a threat to all peoples of the region and to the world at large—one no less severe than what we see being inflicted on the Palestinian people. The Israeli enemy represents a threat to life—one that must be resisted with resolve.

This is why the entire region can never achieve genuine stability so long as the Israeli enemy operates there with full American backing and partnership and Western support, while on the other side, Arab inaction—followed by Islamic passivity—persists, with few exceptions. Life itself cannot be stable, even if some believe that 'normalisation' will bring them safety. Consider what's happening in Syria even after reaching agreements that amounted to total concessions, such as clearing the entire southern Syria of any military presence from those ruling forces and leaving it wide open to the Israeli enemy to infiltrate, manoeuvre, build bases, and act with impunity. In this short span, there have been 800 assaults of various forms there. These include killings, abductions, destruction, attacks on civilians and livestock (including cattle and sheep), targeting and bulldozing of farms, demolition of homes, night raids, and widespread public humiliation—every form of violence and humiliation. This state continues unabated.

As a Muslim ummah, we must be realistic. We must tackle our cognitive paralysis, particularly the lack of awareness: to rid ourselves of the blindness of the heart. Why do we still refuse to see the enemy for what it truly is, even after everything it is doing?! Nothing about its nature is new; what is new is only the scale of its savagery in this current phase. In fact, the Israeli entity has been criminal since its inception, and its record is soaked in blood: genocide; killings of civilians, children, and women; targeting of the unarmed; forced displacement; rape; and every kind of atrocity. Indeed, its criminality grows bolder, its tyranny wider, its evil more entrenched by the day. Why is this the case? That is because it is met with betrayal, heart-blindness, and a lack of correct vision, allowing it free rein to act as it pleases. Some naively think it will appreciate that, but, in truth, it only sees that as an ever-growing opportunity to pursue its grand goals.

Allah (Glory be to Him) declares in the Holy Quran, {'Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people and remove the rage of their hearts'}(At-Tawbah 9:14-15). {'Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands'}—it is your responsibility to fight them in accordance with the divine law: {'and were it not for Allah repelling some people by means of others …'}(Al-Baqarah 2:251).

However, the Arab regimes have not even reached the point of supporting the resisting mujahidin among the Palestinian people. On the contrary, some of these regimes criminalise their actions, despite the fact that all they do aligns with divine commands, expresses the right position, and reflects a legally justified stance by all measures—even under international law and the charters of the United Nations—as they defend themselves, their people, their land, and their rights. The Arab regimes criminalise what Allah has made lawful and what is permitted by every norm across the world. It is a truly bizarre reality: Some Arab regimes go so far as to outlaw such resistance. This is a profoundly unfortunate state!

Therefore, it is delusional to expect the Israeli enemy to stop its crimes while it is met with such inaction, neglect, and, worse still, collusion and collaboration.

Are the Arabs really placing their hopes on the Americans? Some of them openly say so. Yesterday and even before, the media broadcasted statements from an Arab leader repeating this notion that 'Only President Trump can stop the Israeli aggression and allow aid into Gaza.' But what are the Americans actually doing? They are very clear in their endorsement and support of what the Israeli enemy is doing. In fact, they declare that openly. Senior American officials, including the American President and his Secretary of State, have explicitly declared this. Their statements and endorsement cannot be clearer. Most of the current administration consists of hardline Zionists. In America, there is a Zionist current that supports the Jews and endorses the occupation of Palestine, and it even endorses the establishment of what they call 'Greater Israel' across the rest of the Arab lands and its domination over this region. This Zionist current does exist in America and the West; however, there are ultra-extremist factions within this current—some more hateful than many of our enemies. Allah states in the Holy Quran, {'They are Auliya of each other'}(Al-Ma'idah 5:51). The Holy Quran—the Book of Allah—presents this truth, and reality bears witness to it.

As for the American support on the ground, the Americans provide the Israeli enemy with open military support—arms, planning, coordination, and management. This is not hidden; rather, it is proudly proclaimed. The American Secretary of State even said that it is an honour for America to defend Israel. Such is their logic! They see it as an honour to assist and shield Israeli crimes and tyranny. They see it as an honour to provide Israel with full backing and protection to continue its efforts: starving tens of thousands of infants and pursuing their extermination, along with that of women and the elderly, as well as continuing the starvation of two million people in an effort to exterminate them all.

The Americans openly support the forced displacement of people from Gaza, and their position regarding the complete confiscation of Palestinian rights is clear. Trump was the one who gifted the Syrian Golan Heights to the Israeli enemy, as if it were property he inherited from his father. He even announced that he was ready to give away more Arab land as a gift. This attitude is nothing short of contempt for Arabs and Muslims. America is an arm of Zionism, just like Israel and Britain, and it acts accordingly, in both word and deed, with clarity and brazenness.

Relying on European positions is like chasing a mirage. Some Arab regimes admired France's announcement of its intention to recognise the Palestinian state. But what does a Palestinian state mean under the Western vision? It refers to a tiny fragment of Palestinian land—disarmed, stripped of all the basic components of sovereignty: no army, no means of self-defence, no independent foreign relations. It wouldn't even function as a normal state. That is why they call it 'viable solution', as in barely able to survive—as if the Palestinians were a flock of sheep confined to a small enclosure. This is the concept they publicly promote and express when they announce their recognition of the Palestinian state while allowing the Israeli enemy to usurp the vast majority of Palestinian land and to rule even the minuscule area offered—which itself would be broken up into isolated cantons, more like prison camps or livestock pens for the Palestinian people. It is completely irrational.

So why does France announce this? Why does Britain do the same? Britain's role is well known—it was foundational from the very start of the occupation of Palestine. Britain occupied Palestine for a long time, brutalised its people, committed some of the worst crimes, and then brought in the Zionists and empowered them to assume its role after its withdrawal. That has continued ever since.

Britain and France make such statements only because the current situation is a disgraceful scandal for them. The scale of Zionist Jewish criminality in Palestine—starvation, genocide, and horrific, monstrous crimes against the Palestinian people—is a source of shame for the West, which is committed to deceiving nations. This is the same West that commits the worst crimes against oppressed nations, loots their resources, and subjects them to oppression and persecution, only to keep preaching about liberal values, human rights, and freedom. These slogans are nothing but tools of deception. The West not only contradicts them in practice, but even when it promotes them and tries to spread them across our societies, it distorts their essence and presents meanings entirely at odds with the original. {'Among the Jews are those who distort the meaning of words'}(Al-Ma'idah 5:13).

On whom can our people possibly rely? Britain has announced its intention to recognise the Palestinian state if Israel does not stop the starvation, all while continuing to supply Israel with weapons and all forms of support. France and Germany also provide it with all forms of support. They sell Arabs mirages and sketch false promises in water and air. It is nothing but barefaced and blatant deception. If they were truly sincere, why haven't they halted their military support to the Israeli enemy? Why did the European Union declare it would uphold all its agreements with the Israeli enemy—military, commercial, economic, and beyond? That is why the real responsibility rests first and foremost with the Muslim world—more than with anyone else. These have made their stance crystal clear.

What can the international institutions do? What can the United Nations actually do? Since its very founding, it has done nothing. The Palestinian cause predates it, and to this day, the UN has done nothing for the Palestinian people. The Security Council of the arrogant, the oppressors, and the tyrants has never acted for any oppressed nation—least of all the Palestinians. The truth is plain to see. The UN recognised the Israeli enemy and granted it full membership. Can it really be relied on? That alone is a grave sin and undeniable proof that it does not uphold justice or act according to legitimate, fair, or humane principles.

The responsibility lies first and foremost with Muslims. The Palestinian people cry out to them—deeply wounded by such levels of passivity and complicity. They know that this is a deliberate choice—that is, it is driven by a shameful, negative stance. Consider the major Arab nations. For example, the Egyptian people, the most populous in the Arab world, are shackled, voiceless, absent, without any presence. And it is not only Egypt; the same holds true elsewhere, and this also applies to Arab regimes as well. The peoples and governments of those states bordering Palestine could have taken a strong stand, and the rest peoples and governments could have rallied behind them. If people will not rally around a cause facing such clear injustice and tragedy and marked by such obvious righteousness—one with such clear proof acknowledged globally by the righteous and the wicked, believers and non-believers—then what could ever stir them? What grievance could bring them together? What victim will they ever defend? This is blatant, terrifying passivity—one driven by choice, or rather a clear act of complicity.

The Palestinian people, the resistance leaders, and the voice of the mujahidin in Gaza are calling out, reminding Arabs of and Muslims of their responsibilities. They appeal to these nations to act. Why do they not move? Turning away and shirking responsibility will not absolve this Ummah—neither its peoples nor its officials—from the grave consequences in this immediate life, for this is a divine law decreed by Allah, the One Who governs the affairs of the heavens and the earth.

Many peoples and regimes may imagine that such a state of passivity, inaction, and complicity will keep them safe. Allah (the Almighty) says, {'Then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people'}(At-Tawbah 9:24). After all, Allah is the One Who governs all affairs and brings about change. And when these nations and regimes face punishment in this world, they will come to realise that their passivity gained them nothing, not even the safety they hoped for.

The consequences are grave—in this world first, and then even more so in the Hereafter. Allah explicitly warns, {'If you do not march forth, He will afflict you with a painful torment'}(At-Tawbah 9:39). Allah's promises and warnings are certain: {'Allah never fails in promise'}(Az-Zumar 39:20). Thus, He causes circumstances to change, and the Ummah is witnessing swift punishments in this life. As for the Hereafter, the consequences are extremely dangerous: the fire of Jahannam. Allah (the Almighty) says, {'Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, "Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is more intense in heat"'}(At-Tawbah 9:81). Who is being threatened with Jahannam here, and why? It is those who choose inaction, which is the very reason for this punishment. This is an extremely serious issue.

With every escalation of Israeli oppression against the Palestinian people and with every increase in their suffering due to Arab complicity and passivity, the responsibility of this Ummah grows heavier. This is not something that will simply fade away with time, as if continued silence and abandonment will eventually normalise the unparalleled catastrophe endured by Palestinians, turning their immense suffering into just another routine event. This is of very serious consequences for the Ummah. Rather, the responsibility and sin grow heavier, and with them, the severity of Allah's punishment intensifies in this life and in the next. The matter is profoundly serious, a threat to the very soul of this Ummah.

O Muslims, do not imagine that accountability and punishment from Allah concern only prayer, fasting, or specific crimes. When the Ummah itself participates—through neglect, abandonment, apathy, and even active complicity—in the gravest global crimes, it exposes itself to severe divine punishment. History has clearly demonstrated this when Muslims repeatedly suffered the consequences for their failures in similar circumstances.

Consider the Crusades and the Mongol invasions: Muslims elsewhere stood by passively, as Islamic lands endured atrocities identical to those in Palestine today, or rather similar—at that time, enemies did not possess means similar to those the Israeli enemy now possesses, provided to it by America and the West. Nonetheless, similar crimes were committed—mass murder, genocide, violation of honour, looting, domination, occupation, desecration of Islam's sanctity, destruction of copies of the Quran, and defiling and demolition of mosques. All these crimes unfolded as the Ummah watched passively.

At that time, there were no media outlets transmitting visual footage; people merely heard news and stories, or learned about the horror from fleeing survivors. But today, people witness video footage, satellite channels, and live images—they see the tragedy unfold before their very eyes. Hence, the responsibility today is even greater. Their negligence previously allowed evil to spread unchecked, until what was once merely heard about others became their own grim reality.

Jihad in the way of Allah is essential to repel evil, oppression, tyranny, and criminality, and to uphold truth, justice, and goodness. It is imperative to command good and forbid evil, especially given that what the Israeli enemy commits ranks among the gravest evils on the earth; neglecting this responsibility carries a grave burden.

One key factor encouraging the Israeli enemy's escalating crimes—including torturing infants, starving and abusing two million people, and engaging in atrocities of every conceivable kind—is that it clearly sees the current Arab reality. Do Arabs—their governments, leaders, institutions, parties, and forces—not know how to respond to an enemy they openly oppose? Indeed, they know exactly what must be done. Notice their decisive action when the issue is not directly involving America or Israel but related instead to internal conflicts engineered by them within Arab lands. In these scenarios, they respond decisively and comprehensively through official entities and internal factions aligned with enemy-driven agendas aimed at fracturing the Ummah from within.

What has our region witnessed over many years concerning the takfiri strife? Billions of dollars poured in; pulpits and mosques were used effectively to mobilise people, and media platforms were actively employed. Loud voices reverberated across the Islamic world, reaching every Muslim nation, orchestrating massive mobilisation towards sedition, hatred, malice, takfir, and sectarian divisions. Arabs know precisely how to act, yet deliberately refuse to do so when it involves supporting the Palestinian cause, confronting the Israeli enemy, or opposing the Americans.

The Americans and Israelis—the Zionist Jews, through their global networks, like an octopus with countless tentacles—have deeply infiltrated this Ummah, systematically eradicating any motivation among its peoples to resist or respond to their atrocities, regardless of how dreadful or horrific these may be. Yet, certain segments of the Ummah show intense zeal, severity, aggressiveness, and readiness for decisive practical action—whether through media, politics, combat, or military means—but only when the issue revolves around internal sedition and conflicts stirred up by sectarian or regional divisions. It is only then you see vigorous action. Those previously silent, appearing deaf, mute, and blind, suddenly find their voices, shouting so loudly that loudspeakers nearly burst from the intensity. Their clamour fills every corner of the Islamic arena—in mosques, markets, events, gatherings, and various activities.

This is precisely how they behave towards anyone within this Ummah who supports the Palestinian people or opposes the Israeli enemy. You see them raising their voices, adopting profoundly negative stances, and displaying explicit hostility in the media against anyone resisting Israel or opposing American dominance over this Ummah. Yet when they mobilise, they demonstrate vast resources, widespread action, and exceptional seriousness—a completely different state.

What exactly does the Palestinian cause lack, preventing you from offering it similar support? Previously, they eagerly mobilised under religious banners. The Israeli enemy is explicitly described as an enemy of Islam and Muslims in the Holy Quran itself. You don't need more proof than Allah's saying, {'You will surely find the most serious of mankind in enmity to the believers to be the Jews'}(Al-Ma'idah 5:82) Moreover, the Quran extensively details their crimes, their enmity towards Islam and Muslims, their enmity towards Allah's message, His prophets, His angels, and even towards Allah Himself, as well as their opposition to truth, justice, and the foundations, values, and teachings of the divine message. These issues appear frequently throughout the Quran—in Surah Al-Baqarah, Ali 'Imran, An-Nisa, Al-Ma'idah, At-Tawbah, and many other surahs. What then is missing from the Palestinian cause? Is it injustice? Has any nation suffered injustice comparable to that endured by the Palestinian people?

The Palestinian people are Sunni Muslims, so why do you not support them? Why do you not firmly stand by their side? The injustice they endured is acknowledged by the entire world. What more could the Palestinian cause possibly need?

The Israeli enemy is clearly an infidel enemy. Who could surpass its godless nature? Its enmity towards Islam and Muslims is explicit: It tears up and burns copies of the Holy Quran, destroys mosques, and targets the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam's holiest sanctuaries. It murders Muslims and shows enmity towards Islam, the Prophet (PBUH&F), his Companions, and all Muslims in every possible respect. So why do not you openly oppose this infidel enemy? What more does the Palestinian cause need in terms of religious imperatives, in terms of victimhood, and in terms of Arabism and shared identity? Indeed, one cannot help but wonder what it could possibly lack on any other level:

  • In terms of humanitarian entitlement, it is the foremost humanitarian issue.
  • In terms of nationalism, it is the foremost Arab national issue.
  • In terms of Arab interests, it stands prominently at the forefront.

Why, then, this unjustifiable negligence? Why does the Palestinian cause not enter your sphere of genuine concern, moral responsibility, and active engagement?

Current events truly constitute a critical test, effectively evaluating and clarifying the visions, positions, and directions within our Arab and Islamic societies. Indeed, events serve precisely that purpose.

Throughout history, events have consistently served as the ultimate test—clearly, tangibly, and vividly distinguishing right from wrong visions and correct from incorrect paths. The same applies to people's true nature. They reveal people's true nature and their sincerity towards the identities and slogans they profess. Allah intended precisely this purpose. He clearly stated in the Holy Quran, {'In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Alif Lam Mim. Do the people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being tested? We have certainly tried those before them, for Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars'}(Al-'Ankabut 29:1-3); thus, truthfulness and dishonesty are the clear outcomes revealed by this evaluation of people's responses to events.

  • Those who claim to be mujahidin, raising the banner of jihad—this is now the greatest and holiest battlefield for jihad; where are you? Or is your idea of jihad confined to what aligns with American and Israeli agendas, designed to inflame sectarian divisions and further fragment this already divided Ummah?
  • Those who call themselves believers and raise Islamic banners—where are you now? The broad Islamic current across the Muslim world, with its parties, movements, institutions, and organisations in most Arab countries—where is its voice, momentum, mobilisation, and strength, now that conditions have deteriorated to this extent? What further disaster are they awaiting?

Do the people of this Ummah intend to wait until the people of Gaza are completely annihilated or entirely expelled from Gaza by the enemy? Is this the moment they are waiting for? Isn't daily death and perpetual suffering from starvation sufficient to inspire action and responsibility?

If faith-based slogans do not manifest as true mercy within this Ummah towards those oppressed, persecuted, and tormented by tyrants, criminals, and arrogant oppressors—then when is the time for compassion? If mercy does not extend even to Palestinian infants, whom the Israeli enemy denied baby formula, leaving their mothers nothing to afford them but water, then when is the time for mercy? What about the Quranic teachings: {'compassionate with one another'} and {'those who believed and enjoined upon one another patience and compassion'}(Al-Balad 90:17)? Mercy is one of the highest human, Islamic, and spiritual values—what has become of it?

In the face of this Zionist-Jewish humiliation, tyranny, arrogance, and criminality, where is the honour of faith{'And to Allah belongs honour, and to His Messenger, and to the believers'}(Al-Munafiqun 63:8)—in an ummah whose entities, forces, parties, and leaders cannot utter even a single strong word or adopt a firm position? Even Al-Azhar withdrew and deleted a statement simply because it expressed mild criticism and displeasure over Israeli brutality. How have we reached this point?

Allah explicitly states, {'And We will surely test you until We make evident those mujahidin among you and those who are patient, and We will test your affairs'}(Muhammad 47:31). If the current suffering inflicted upon the Palestinian people does not qualify as precisely this kind of trial—to distinguish sincerity towards Allah, sincerity of faith, and even sincerity in basic human values—then what events would possibly qualify as such a trial, one that reveals the Ummah's true position? What else would reveal who takes seriously his responsibilities of jihad and sincerely strives to fulfil these responsibilities, with patience, dedication, sacrifice, and seriousness? This is the defining trial.

It is clear to everyone that the current state of the Ummah is far from normal—not even natural on a basic human or instinctive level. Even a non-Muslim ummah, if it retained its innate human nature, would never tolerate part of its people being oppressed by a foreign enemy hostile to them all—as the Israeli enemy is doing to the Arab Muslim Palestinian people. So what can be said of this Ummah, which belongs to Islam with all its noble values and lofty principles, guided by the Holy Quran, inspired by the Prophet as its model, and firm in its faith in Allah's messengers and revelations?!

At the level of education and moral formation, the Ummah suffers from deep dysfunction. There is no nurturing of true faith, honour, human dignity, or a sense of responsibility. There is no awareness of the reality of our condition or of the events taking place. Otherwise, how could an ummah with such vast numbers, resources, and territory find itself in this crippling state of inertia and passivity?

In truth, those officially in charge are actively educating and conditioning this Ummah to accept humiliation, oppression, disgrace, and submission—to accept shameful weakness and surrender in the face of the Israeli enemy. Worse still, they are working to extinguish the very emotions and motivations necessary to resist such an enemy. This is a profoundly tragic situation.

What the Israeli enemy, hand-in-hand with America, is doing is not a passing crisis caused by misunderstandings or minor disputes that can be easily resolved. We must understand the true nature of this cause and see the enemy for what it truly is.

O Arabs! O Muslims! Know your enemy—the Jews, with their criminal Zionist agenda, and the global backers of this agenda: America, Britain, and Israel—through the Holy Quran, through the Book of Allah, through His verses. Know them by their beliefs, their culture, and their ideological foundations. Know them also by their explicit conspiracies and openly declared objectives. They speak constantly of a 'New Middle East'—a phrase that is clear, yet treated as though it is meaningless. It means your destruction, enslavement, humiliation, erasure of identity, and total submission under the Israeli and American boot. That is the true meaning of the 'New Middle East'. How can it be ignored?! This is a disaster—a catastrophe! Know them through their monstrous crimes, clearly visible in the Gaza Strip.

This Ummah needs to address its perceptual crisis—a blindness of the heart, as Allah says, {'Indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts'}(Al-Hajj 22:46]). It needs to be awakened. It must rise to action. The Israeli enemy is as vicious, evil, criminal, and tyrannical as ever. Therefore, it is we who must act, instead of waiting for others to act on our behalf.

Look at the steadfastness of our fellow mujahidin in Gaza: fighting in Allah's cause with extraordinary courage and steadfastness for twenty-two months, with barely any resources. They have shown unmatched resilience and truly extraordinary patience, as well as profound devotion and extraordinary bravery—they charge towards tanks to detonate them with explosives. This level of devotion and bravery is a powerful lesson for the entire Ummah. Yet tragically, instead of being supported, they are branded as terrorists by many regimes, and ceaselessly defamed by Arab media that never stop slandering them.

The fellow mujahidin in Gaza approach this cause from a faith-based standpoint, fully aware of its dimensions, which is something the Ummah must realise well. They are also aware of its final outcome, for its outcomes are clear and certain: The Israeli enemy is an entity destined for demise, no matter the scale of its tyranny or its crimes. It is true that it benefits from the Ummah's passivity—a state that results in heavy costs, enormous losses, and deep injustices, immense tragedies—but ultimately, its end is inevitable. This is the promise of Allah, Who never breaks His promise. A divine promise that will certainly be fulfilled. Victory will belong to those who remain steadfast—those who believe in Allah and His promise, who answer His call, and fulfil their responsibilities. However, this demands patience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment.

The mujahidin in Gaza continue their operations. This week, the Al-Qassam Brigades executed fourteen heroic jihadist operations. The Al-Quds Brigades carried out significant operations, as well, and so did other resistance factions.

The mujahidin in Gaza show unmatched steadfastness. The Israeli enemy used all its capabilities and deployed nearly four full military divisions—or more—in its assault on Gaza, but it failed and was defeated. Its growing frustration has been evident throughout this long period. Despite total warfare and destruction, it failed to force surrender—neither from the mujahidin nor from the civilian population, whose patience and resolve surpass anything seen elsewhere in the world. For 662 days, they have resisted the Israeli enemy and continue to do so with strength and impact across Gaza's north, centre, and south. This effectiveness contrasts starkly with the enemy's glaring failure.

Today marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the great jihadist commander Ismail Haniyeh (May Allah have mercy on him). Yesterday was the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the great jihadist commander Fuad Shukr (May Allah have mercy on him).

The mujahidin in Palestine and Lebanon play the most vital and impactful role in confronting the Israeli enemy. In doing so, they safeguard the entire Islamic Ummah, especially the Arab states themselves. Were it not for this role of Palestinian mujahidin—from Hamas and its Al‑Qassam Brigades to Islamic Jihad, Al‑Quds Brigades, Mujahidin Movement, and other jihadist factions—and Lebanese mujahidin (Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance), were it not for their jihad and the sacrifices of their leaders and fighters from all ranks, the reality of the Ummah would be drastically different. The situation in Egypt and Jordan would be different. Syria would have found itself in a situation far worse than it is today, and certainly Lebanon's situation would be completely different. The situation in all these countries would be in far worse shape, likely under full Israeli domination, with the enemy extending its campaign into Iraq. Above all others—above everyone else operating in the jihadi framework—the preeminent role belongs to the fellow mujahidin in Palestine and Lebanon. Their sacrifices have been immense and unwavering from the very beginning. Hezbollah has offered martyrs among leaders and fighters across all ranks. Similarly, from day one, Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups have endured the martyrdom of their leaders and cadres in service of the cause of Allah.

This sincere and resolute jihadi struggle—never shaken despite the severity of hardship and the pressure of adversity—is the true hope of the Islamic Ummah today. This cause today is supported by those steadfast and self-sacrificing supporters and mujahidin who remain true to their declared principles—they have never faltered, retreated, weakened, or surrendered. Truly, this represents a tremendous hope for the Ummah.

Yesterday, Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem (May Allah protect him), delivered a valuable and important address on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the great jihadist commander, Fuad Shukr. His speech reaffirmed the necessary positions and provided ample clarification.

Regarding the recently announced failure of the negotiations, the Americans were exposed immediately after the Israeli withdrawal, as they too pulled out of talks with Hamas. They exposed their true intentions through their own demands. They wanted Hamas to surrender, disarm, and hand Gaza over to Israeli control. There is no need for further commentary to know who is truly responsible for the failure of these talks and who insists on prolonging this major crime—the crime of the century—by starving and torturing the Palestinian people, by killing and starving Gaza's children.

Regarding demonstrations in support of Gaza, rallies and protests were held in thirteen Arab and Islamic countries—this is a decent number, and may Allah bless the efforts toward broader mobilisation. Demonstrations also took place in eighteen countries around the globe.

Notably, the Netherlands took a bold step by listing the Israeli enemy among countries that pose a threat to its national security. The Israeli enemy conspires against all and poses a threat to nations everywhere. The president of Colombia also took a bold measure by halting coal exports to the Israeli enemy. If only Arab regimes that continue to trade and engage economically with the Israeli enemy would follow his lead. He is from a country that is neither Arab nor Muslim, yet his conscience moved him to take such a principled position.

Regarding the support operations from the Yemen of faith in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, operations continue with great momentum. This week, a number of operations were carried out with ten missiles and drones. One of these operations targeted Lod Airport, sending millions of Israelis into shelters and bringing airport activity to a standstill.

Efforts to block Israeli maritime navigation also continue. This week, the fourth phase was announced. In this phase, the targeting will include all vessels belonging to companies that collaborate with the Israeli enemy or transport goods on its behalf—even if these vessels have not been used for that same purpose or are found on a different route. If the Armed Forces manage to reach the vessels of such companies, they will strike. This is a necessary step in light of the critical situation in Gaza.

The Israeli enemy is frustrated, with leaders and officials admitting defeat after being forced to shut down Umm Al-Rashrash Port— which they refer to as 'Eilat Port'. Western media have described this as a clear Israeli defeat.

This week also witnessed massive grassroots activities by our dear Yemeni people—meetings, public gatherings, demonstrations, marches, and similar events—on a scale unmatched anywhere in the world. Among these are continuous scholarly gatherings under the auspices of the Association of Yemeni Scholars and His Eminence the Mufti (May Allah protect him). Religious scholars in our country are engaging in extensive and meaningful activity. One notable event was a major assembly in Hajjah Governorate, attended by local scholars and preachers. We hope Arab and Islamic countries take inspiration from this extensive mobilisation. Tribal rallies continue to take place. These are important activities and represent a major source of irritation for the enemy.

Yesterday, Sana'a University held a march. It is the only Arab university in any capital to have publicly rallied in support of the Palestinian people. This is, on one hand, deeply unfortunate; on the other, it is a badge of honour for Sana'a University to act while others remain silent. Why have universities across the Arab capitals not moved? Why do academics and educators—who occupy a central place in the educational and cultural fabric of our Arab and Muslim societies—not have a visible presence? They should be leading this charge, as those most aware, most engaged, and most responsible. This inaction is deeply regrettable. Yet it is a great honour for Sana'a University to fulfil this duty, take on this role, and serve as a model for others. It even calls upon others to awaken and shoulder their responsibility.

Educational and awareness-raising activity should devote attention to the Palestinian cause. This is already evident in Yemeni universities, where various educational, cultural, and awareness-raising programmes are held to deepen understanding of the Palestinian cause and provide insight into the Israeli enemy.

With regard to last Friday's turnout, it was grand and honourable—truly unprecedented in scale:

  • At Al-Sabeen Square, the crowds surged like waves—a human tide chanting in support of the Palestinian people.
  • Other squares in various governorates also witnessed honourable and impressive participation.
  • In terms of scale, over 1,333 public squares saw mass marches followed by huge public gatherings across various governorates.

This massive turnout is a great act of drawing close to Allah. It is also a significant part of our people's jihad, a living embodiment of their faith-based values.

To our dear people who continue to take to the streets: Your sustained and massive mobilisation is critically important to our national position—military operations included. It is the biggest stumbling block in the path of our enemies who wish to undermine this position. Nothing frustrates them more than your consistent, massive weekly turnout, together with the continuation of military operations and the blockade of Israeli navigation. So keep going. May Allah bless you, reward you richly in this life and the next, and grant you the reward of His righteous, faithful, and striving servants in the Hereafter.

Regarding military mobilisation, the number of trained individuals has reached 1,017,977. This is a major milestone and a crucial trajectory, reflecting a very high level of preparedness. This figure excludes regular military forces, who receive extensive training, and it also does not include the hundreds of thousands trained over the past decade, particularly as part of the resistance efforts against the American-Saudi aggression. Therefore, our country enjoys broad and significant military readiness.

This remarkable preparedness through military mobilisation and this wide-scale popular engagement—which affirms commitment to this position—are of enormous significance in confronting all the enemies' efforts to undermine Yemen's profound position, whether through conspiracies by the tools of treason within this Ummah who side with the Israeli enemy or through direct schemes involving the Americans and Israelis. This level of readiness and mobilisation is absolutely essential.

We warn all those tempted to side with the Israeli enemy—from among the tools of treason, treachery, and criminality—that this nation's response will be firm and decisive. Let them know that this country stands with such strength, cohesion, deep public awareness, and unwavering determination. This is a solid position, backed by such faith, insight, and popular engagement.

I call upon our noble, striving people—the Yemen of faith and wisdom; the Yemen of loyalty, manhood, and valour—to take to the streets in great numbers tomorrow, Friday, Allah willing, in the capital Sana'a and across the other governorates. You are the ones who rally in times of fear but shrink in times of greed, just as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) praised your forefathers, the Ansar—the righteous mujahidin. May Allah bless you and be a rewarder to you.

We hope, Allah willing, for a vast turnout in Sana'a and the rest of the governorates.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) by His grace, bounty, and generosity to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
