I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
In the Holy Quran, Allah (Glory be to Him) says, {'Those who were warned, "Your enemies have mobilised their forces against you, so fear them," the warning only made them grow stronger in faith, and they replied, "Allah is sufficient for us and is the best Protector"'}. He (Glory be to Him) also says, {'When the believers saw the enemy alliance, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us. The promise of Allah and His Messenger has come true." And this only increased them in faith and submission'}. This is the word of truth from Almighty Allah.
Today marks the National Day of Steadfastness, on its eleventh anniversary since the beginning of the American-Saudi aggression against Yemen. Since a detailed discussion of this occasion would be lengthy, I will limit this address to what may be considered brief headings, especially as many others will be speaking—among them distinguished scholars, academics, intellectuals, preachers, and activists in public mobilisation and various educational fields. Thus, much remains to be addressed—issues we hope they will give due attention to, along with media outlets that uphold a positive and supportive stance aligned with the just position of our honourable Muslim Yemeni people.
On this important occasion, we turn to Allah (Glory be to Him) in gratitude for His great blessing upon us as a Yemeni people, as He granted us victory, support, success, right guidance, and steadfastness upon the rightful stance. All grace and favour belong to Allah (Glory be to Him), who enabled us, as a Yemeni people, to remain steadfast and to uphold the position that is right, sound, wise, and responsible—a stance befitting our human dignity, our faith-based honour, and our belonging to Islam as a Yemeni people.
This occasion is of great significance and carries important implications. First and foremost, it represents for us the honouring of the just stance of our dear Yemeni Muslim people: their resilience and steadfastness in the face of the unjust and brutal aggression perpetrated by the American-Saudi-led coalition—marked by aggression, injustice, criminality, and wrongdoing—against our Yemeni people. The choice and stance of steadfastness have been, and continue to be, the right and dignified position for our people, fully justifying all the sacrifices, efforts, immense contributions, and patience they have shown.
When the coalition countries started their aggression against our dear people, they were confronted with two choices. The first choice was surrender, which is a disastrous choice given its severe consequences for any people who adopt it. Its outcome is the loss of freedom and dignity, the forfeiture of all legitimate rights, and the acceptance of humiliation, subjugation, and degradation—leading to loss in this world and the Hereafter. The alternative is the choice of steadfastness, which—as we have said—is the course befitting human dignity, the honour of faith, and true belonging to the faith. That is because the true outcome of such belonging is liberation from servitude to tyranny.
Our dear people have confronted aggression launched by arrogant, tyrannical, dark, unjust, and criminal forces. Therefore, their choice to confront the arrogant American tyranny of this age was the right one—even though the aggression was executed through regional and local treacherous and hypocritical proxies, while the primary role of the Americans was the supervision of the aggression.
When we speak of steadfastness, the greatest exemplars with the greatest contributions are the martyrs (May Allah be pleased with them)—evidenced by their stances, resilience, efforts, and sacrifices—along with the families of the martyrs (who are patient, devoted, and giving), the wounded, the captives, and those stationed on the frontlines, as well as all their families. It also encompasses everyone who contributes across all fields—through giving, effort, and spending in the cause of Allah—and through diverse efforts that foster steadfastness, resilience, and cohesion across cultural, educational, military, security, charitable, economic, political, and media domains, at both the official and grassroots levels.
Contribution in all its forms—as we have said—across every field has come from all segments of society, from all the members of the Yemeni people: from religious scholars, even to the level of martyrs—there are martyrs from among them themselves, as well as from their children and relatives; from academics; from social figures and community leaders; from the youth; and from the elderly. All members of this people, across its diverse segments, have contributed—men and women alike. Indeed, women have also made significant contributions, demonstrating great effort and remarkable sacrifice.
It is essential that all of this receive careful attention in both education and media, for these acts of giving and sacrifice constitute an important record—rich with stories and historical narratives. They represent a lasting legacy for generations and an inspiring and profound heritage. They deserve to be preserved and immortalised through written documentation, historical records, and various media, educational, and cultural activities. Indeed, they contain so much that is inspiring for generations. They also bear witness to the greatness of this people, their deep devotion to faith, and their noble character—a truly remarkable school, rich with lessons and insights.
This is the first significance of the occasion: It highlights the importance and greatness of the stance our people have taken by Allah's grace, the value of this stance according to the measure and standard of truth, the level and calibre of this position, its effectiveness, the outcomes and fruits it has produced, and the way its significant results have become manifested. These points are presented as headings—as we mentioned—due to the abundance of details and in order to save time.
Secondly, we emphasise the great moral value of steadfastness in upholding the truth. This is a vital and noble principle that must be deeply rooted emotionally, culturally, intellectually, and within public opinion. This is particularly essential in the face of campaigns waged by the enemies of the Islamic Ummah, specifically the Zionist Jews, through all their media mouthpieces and collaborators. These campaigns aim to condition the Ummah, to educate it to accept surrender to its enemies, and to instil a spirit of defeatism within it.
It is deeply saddening that the official Arab orientation—and perhaps the orientation of much of the Islamic world—deploys all the capabilities of its countries and directs all activities (educational, cultural, and media) towards conditioning our peoples in favour of the Zionist Jews and the arms of Zionism (America and Israel), fostering loyalty to them. Thus, in the arena of conflict and confrontation between the Muslims and the Zionist Jews—along with their collaborators and followers—a struggle revolves around this crucial principle:
- On one side, there is steadfastness upon the position of truth, remaining firm upon it, and acting in accordance with the sacred responsibilities of this Ummah—namely, striving in the path of Allah, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and confronting injustice and tyranny.
- On the other side, there is surrender to the tyrants of the age, submission to them, allegiance to them, and enslavement to them.
Among the most heinous crimes, the most abhorrent betrayals, and the gravest injustice is the conditioning of the peoples of our Ummah in favour of America and Israel. This is a profound betrayal and a severe injustice against these peoples. Everyone who contributes to it shares in this wrongdoing, because it leads to many devastating consequences—catastrophes that can be summed up under one title: loss in this world and the Hereafter. Indeed, the disaster is of this magnitude: that the Ummah loses both this world and the Hereafter.
In addition, this stands in total contradiction to the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran firmly establishes our view of them as our enemies. It clarifies the level of their hostility, stating that they are the most intense in enmity towards us. Furthermore, it strictly forbids allegiance to them in the strongest possible terms, regarding it as hypocrisy and making it one of the most defining characteristics of the hypocrites: {'Those who take the disbelievers as guardians rather than the believers. Do they seek might in their company? Surely, all might belongs to Allah'}. The Holy Quran also ordains that we strive in the path of Allah to confront their evil, for striving in the path of Allah is the only way for us to oppose their wrongdoing. Indeed, they are the ones who initiate evil and tyranny; they are people of evil, directing this evil towards targeting us and all human societies through misguidance and corruption: {'And they strive to spread corruption in the land'}. Their tyranny, oppression, and crimes are evident in reality—manifested in major events, undeniable facts, and continuous daily occurrences. In fact, Allah has commanded us to fight them. He has even promised us victory if we act within the framework of our responsibility in striving according to the guidance of Allah (Glory be to Him): {'Fight them; Allah will torture them by your hands, disgrace them, give you victory over them, and satisfy the breasts of a believing people'}.
Thirdly, concerning the importance of this occasion—the National Day of Steadfastness—it serves as a reminder of the injustice suffered by our Yemeni people. It is a grave injustice—one of the gravest injustices existing on the earth—and it is an ongoing one, encompassing all aspects of life.
In its essence, objectives, and methods, the American–Saudi aggression against our people is an unjust, false, and criminal aggression, entirely devoid of any legitimacy. Its aims are to subjugate the Muslim Yemeni people to America and Israel; to strip them of their decision-making power, sovereignty, and independence; to deprive them of their resources; to occupy their land; and to control them and subdue them to serve the occupiers and their regional proxies. This concerns the level of its goals, which indicates that they are unjust and illegitimate, ones that cannot possess even the smallest degree of legitimacy.
As for its practices, from the very first airstrike and throughout the years that followed, one can clearly see the nature of these practices, as they themselves testify to the true reality of this aggression: its goals and what it seeks to achieve.
Over the past years, this aggression has resulted in the following approximate figures, according to statistics—and likely even more in reality. Civilian martyrs and injured individuals number approximately 60,000 Yemenis, with over 24,000 martyrs and more than 35,000 injured people. Over 1.4 million civilians have died directly due to the blockade, the spread of chronic diseases, and malnutrition, all within the framework of the aggression against Yemen. The aggression has destroyed more than 670 health facilities, including ambulances. This aggression attacks healthcare facilities in such a brutal manner; can it truly be seen as a benefit to the Yemeni people?! The Saudis seek to impose their will on the Yemeni people through this aggression, as shown by all these details. The aggression has also devastated approximately 2,900 educational facilities, including schools, universities, institutes, and education offices. Can the destruction of such a vast number of educational institutions by the coalition be considered an act of goodwill towards the Yemeni people, and so worthy of anyone's gratitude? Furthermore, the aggression has decimated over 5,600 electrical networks and stations, around 2,200 telecommunications sites and facilities, more than 930 fuel and gas stations and tankers, and 14 seaports, including their facilities and contents. It has also obliterated nine airports and their facilities, including equipment, air navigation systems, and four civilian aircraft. The Saudi–American aggression has destroyed more than 15,000 food-related facilities, including factories, shops, markets, and food storage warehouses. Moreover, the coalition of aggression has destroyed more than 19,400 agricultural and livestock facilities, including farms, markets, cooperatives, and animal enclosures. The coalition of aggression killed more than 450,000 heads of livestock. Observe this extreme level of criminality: even at the level of livestock, the numbers are staggering—hundreds of thousands of cows, sheep, goats, camels, and dromedaries. In addition, more than 43,000 beehives were obliterated, and 90 purebred Arabian horses were killed. The coalition of aggression has decimated more than 12,400 water-related facilities, including dams, water tanks, wells, solar-powered water systems, excavators, and irrigation channels. It has also destroyed more than 4,700 fishing boats and landing centres, directly affecting those who depend on fishing for their livelihood. Furthermore, it has decimated 86 media institutions and radio broadcasting centres. In addition, it has destroyed 48 judicial complexes, courthouses, and legal buildings, and directly targeted judges for assassination. Look at every aspect of life, every sphere! This represents a comprehensive assault on all forms and foundations of life in our country. It has also caused damage to 136 sports facilities, leaving even this sector untouched. The coalition has targeted and destroyed more than 8,000 roads and bridges. Moreover, it has obliterated over 1,840 mosques—houses of worship whose sanctity was not spared in this widespread devastation, with such a large number deliberately targeted. The coalition of aggression has decimated more than 90 cemeteries. The targeting even of cemeteries—on such a large scale—is incomprehensible, and reflects a profound level of aggression, brutality, and criminality. It has also damaged more than 2,200 government and public service buildings, including social welfare centres and facilities for persons with disabilities. Among these was the widely documented crime against the care home for the blind in the Capital, Sana'a—one of the most egregious and revealing crimes of the coalition. Moreover, the coalition destroyed more than 8,500 vehicles and means of transport, and damaged more than 420 archaeological and historical sites, making historical landmarks among its primary targets through aerial bombardment and air strikes. In addition, it has decimated more than 360 tourist facilities. The enemy carried out more than 2,960 cluster bomb strikes across most districts in Yemen, the effects and dangers of which continue to this day. The Saudi regime continues to kill Yemeni civilians on a daily basis in border areas—whether through artillery shelling or by direct fire at close range, targeting migrant workers in cold blood and with extreme brutality. Numerous video recordings of such crimes have been documented.
At the economic level, the coalition also committed a major crime against our country through the looting of its oil wealth. This had long been a primary source of national revenue, and even what little remained—after foreign companies had taken their share and after large portions had already been taken by influential figures in the former regime—was still used to pay salaries and fund essential public services. After that, the Yemeni people were deprived of it entirely.
Yemen ranks 27th globally in terms of oil reserves, although the actual figure may be considerably higher. Indeed, even these figures have been subject to significant misrepresentation by foreign companies conducting survey operations.
In any case, oil production had reached approximately half a million barrels, yet the Yemeni people have not benefited from this wealth in any meaningful way. The direct and indirect losses to Yemen's oil sector since the beginning of the aggression—though still a preliminary estimate—have exceeded $57 billion. This raises the question of what could have been achieved had these resources been available to fund salaries and support the health and education sectors. These resources are the wealth of the Yemeni people—their rightful property and entitlement—yet they have been deprived of them at a time of greatest need. This constitutes a serious injustice for the Yemeni people, who are denied access to national resources that could have covered salaries and ensured a wide range of essential public services. They are deprived of these resources without any legitimate basis. This is an injustice of profound magnitude.
For this reason, we recall this injustice whenever the suffering of the Yemeni people is discussed—whether in terms of daily living conditions or access to essential services. This is a people enduring suffering, and these hardships have been inflicted by the coalition through depriving our people of the wealth that rightfully belongs to them. Nonetheless, they are left to endure continued suffering under a severe economic blockade and a range of economic measures targeting them in multiple ways. This represents a grave tragedy.
In addition, oil infrastructure—including refineries, storage facilities, and transport pipelines—has suffered extensive damage, particularly at Ras Isa Port. Yemen has also lost the equivalent of approximately 90 million barrels in annual oil revenues due to the suspension of production as a result of the aggression, with the Yemeni people prevented from accessing this wealth that rightfully belongs to them.
The coalition of aggression bears important responsibilities towards Yemen that will extend for generations. That is because of the projects it has disrupted, damaged, and destroyed. The issue of unpaid salaries and the suffering of employees and their families is only one aspect of a broader pattern of the coalition's crimes against the population.
The aggression continues. Although there has been a period of relative de-escalation over roughly the past three years, the American–Saudi coalition’s aggression against our country persists. It continues to occupy large parts of the country directly, maintains a blockade, deprives the Yemeni people of their national wealth, and persistently targets their independence and dignity.
The core problem with the Saudi regime lies in its deep-rooted hostility towards the Yemeni people, which has driven it to pursue an aggressive and negative policy for decades. Throughout this long period, we are not aware of any stage in which Saudi policy towards Yemen and its people shifted in a genuinely positive direction based on principles of good neighbourliness, mutual interests, and fraternal cooperation grounded in Islamic and Arab ties. The Yemeni people are fully aware of these realities. Even under the previous official regime, despite its abject submission to Saudi Arabia and the major concessions it made on critical issues such as border arrangements— along with its extensive compliance and betrayal—this yielded no benefit. The approach remained negative and consistently hostile towards our people.
What has further worsened and exacerbated the situation is the Saudi regime’s alignment with American and Israeli agendas in the region, particularly with regard to Yemen. This has rendered its role profoundly harmful to our country and people, reflected clearly in its insistence on continuing the aggression and pursuing policies that serve the interests of the United States and Britain—with Britain continuing to play a significant role alongside the United States and Israel in the Yemen file.
There is an ongoing insistence on the part of the coalition of aggression—led by the American side and its regional instruments, represented by Saudi Arabia, joined by Britain, and backed by Israel—to control the political decision-making in Yemen, and to ensure that the management of Yemeni affairs remains entirely in their hands and under their authority. They seek to be the sole decision-makers, with Saudi Arabia effectively appointing presidents under American supervision, British participation, and Israeli backing—as has already occurred through their mercenaries—despite having no legitimate authority to do so whatsoever. This amounts to a completely illegitimate usurpation.
What they seek is precisely what they are already doing through the traitors from among the people of this country—and even before that, during the period of declared international oversight over Yemen under Chapter VII—so that it becomes the established reality. They seek to be the ones who appoint presidents, ministers, and officials and exercise complete control over the military—as is already evident in their dealings with these traitors—as well as the security services and all state institutions, directing all of this to serve the interests of the United States, Israel, and Britain. They further seek to dominate all spheres of life—political, cultural, social, and economic, and beyond—in ways that serve their interests. They want those holding the titles of president and officials to be reduced to mere functionaries carrying out the instructions of American, British, and Saudi ambassadors, such that even those bearing the title of president become nothing more than executors of directives issued by foreign envoys, including the Israeli representative. They also seek to ensure that the country is governed in a manner that brings destruction, harm, and endless crises upon the people—while remaining under American, British, Israeli, and Saudi control in ways that serve their interests, weaken the population, and plunge it into ongoing crises, conflicts, and divisions.
They insist on controlling Yemen’s wealth, depriving the people of it, and plundering it for their own benefit. What remains—mere scraps—is partly handed to corrupt traitors from among this people, who serve them and abase themselves before them, while the Yemeni people are pushed to the margins, continuing to endure suffering, crisis, misery, and hardship. They also dominate the economy through policies that render it dependent, subjugated, and impoverished, preventing any genuine economic progress or self-sufficiency, and blocking its transformation into a productive society. Instead, it remains a consumer country, trapped in deprivation, in addition to the ongoing denial of its oil wealth.
The military aggression—currently in a phase of de-escalation due to the unwavering steadfastness of our people over eight years of intense escalation—still persists in reality: The battlefronts remain active, and hostile intentions are clearly evident on the part of the Americans, the British, the Israelis, and the Saudis. From the Saudi side in particular, no genuine or serious commitment to peace has been shown. Otherwise, if it were to adopt a sincere approach to peace and break away from alignment with the Americans, the Israelis, and the British against our country, the path towards peace would be open.
One of the ongoing forms of targeting our country during this phase of de-escalation is intelligence activity. This includes the establishment of spy networks and cells operating within the country, with the Saudi side primarily coordinating with the British. These are typically joint cells handled by Saudi and British intelligence officers, while in some cases links with the Israeli side also emerge. However, what is certain is that the intelligence gathered is passed on to the Americans and the Israelis. This became clear to us during the height of escalation in confrontations with the American and Israeli enemies, when these affiliated cells provided information that enabled Israeli and American strikes against our country.
Another key activity they have intensified—particularly in recent times—is the ongoing effort to erode integrity, buy loyalties, and infiltrate the internal front.
The Saudis view people as mere commodities. They see social, political, and military figures in our country, as well as the wider population with all its cadres and members, as nothing more than goods to be bought with money—just like shoes or any other item from the marketplace. Based on their experience with traitors, they seek to recruit and attract others. Yet, as we have said, they regard them only as cheap merchandise. Indeed, anyone who sells his loyalty and position and betrays his people, his religion, and his Ummah is even more worthless than the very shoes the Saudis purchase with money—indeed, cheaper and in a far worse state.
If a person abandons his rightful position and sells his honour; betrays his homeland, people, Ummah, and tribe; and sacrifices the future of his country for the sake of spiteful enemies— adopting a false and unjust stance against his people, against their freedom, against their progress, and against their dignity—then he is a corrupt and treacherous individual who has debased himself through betrayal to the lowest level. He has lost both this world and the Hereafter. He may gain sums of money in Saudi riyals, but what he loses is far greater and more profound: his freedom, his dignity, his human worth, his people, his homeland, and even his religion. He incurs a profound and devastating loss because he has chosen to serve falsehood, injustice, and criminality. The Saudis themselves serve the interests of the Americans, the Israelis, and the British, so this would make him involved in their service as well. Indeed, making oneself a servant to the Saudis means becoming a servant to those whom they serve: the Americans, the Israelis, and the British.
Our Yemeni Muslim people are a great people, defined by their faith-based identity, as testified by the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH&F): 'The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.' The Saudis have absolutely no justification whatsoever for adopting a hostile approach towards this people—an approach directed against all Yemenis without exception. Even those traitors who have debased themselves—selling their people, religion, homeland, honour, freedom, and independence—are not regarded by the Saudis as friends or brothers. Rather, they are seen as commodities purchased with money: cheap, mere tools—indeed, like shoes used to trample the soil of this country in order to confront the free people among it. Had the Saudis truly viewed them with any sense of worth, dignity, or respect, they would not treat them in this way: reducing them to mere subordinates, with no decision-making power, entirely subject to their commands, stripped of their freedom and dignity.
Therefore, anyone who claims to be allied with the Saudis as a genuine partner is lying—a lie he himself knows to be a lie. This is because the Saudis deal with him as a subordinate: under their orders and prohibitions, subject to their decisions, even beneath their feet, and under their control. At the same time, the Saudis themselves are under the control of the Americans, the Israelis, and the British— layer upon layer of subordination.
Thus, their approach is inherently hostile—whether towards the free individuals of this nation, who constitute the overwhelming majority, or towards those traitors who sell themselves to the Saudis, accepting to be nothing more than tools: mere functionaries under orders, subjugated and enslaved, stripped of their freedom and dignity, and treated with humiliation and degradation. The Saudis deal with everyone within the framework of this hostile approach.
The Saudis have no justification whatsoever, as it was entirely possible for them to have a positive, respectful, and brotherly relationship with the Yemeni people—one founded on the principle of good neighbourliness. The Yemeni people have never initiated aggression against them in the past, nor do they harbour any hostile intentions towards any Muslim people or any Muslim country. They are a people characterised by strong moral values, firm principles, and an identity rooted in faith.
Therefore, the problem with the Saudis lies in their arrogant and negative orientation and their alignment with the American, British, and Israeli agendas against the peoples of the region—foremost among them the Yemeni people. It would be better if they ceased their hostility towards our Yemeni people, freed themselves from their alignment with the American and Israeli agendas, and left those enemies to confront the Yemeni people directly, rather than placing heavy and costly burdens upon themselves through a course of hostility that can never achieve their goal of fully controlling the Yemeni people or stripping them of their freedom and dignity. This is, in fact, the very essence of impossibility. This is because our people rely on Allah, trust in Him, and place their full reliance upon Him. They possess roots that run deep into the fabric of history, and they hold firm principles and values that enable them to remain steadfast and resilient—rejecting oppression, refusing humiliation and degradation, and refusing subjugation or servitude to anyone other than Allah (Glory be to Him). Instead of imposing such costly and exhausting burdens upon themselves—burdens that will ultimately never lead to the decisive outcome they seek—and instead of exhausting others as well, particularly the Yemeni people who have already suffered greatly, it would be far better for them to abandon this hostile approach towards our dear people and adopt a policy based on good neighbourliness. This would be in their interest, in the interest of our people, and in the interest of the whole region. They could then leave the field open for the Americans and the Israelis to confront our people directly, as has already happened in recent rounds of confrontation between them and the Yemeni people. They should allow this confrontation to be direct and spare themselves the unnecessary burden of this hostility. They are not compelled to be hostile towards our people—not even for the sake of their own security. They could have enjoyed security, stability, and all else without targeting our people through such an aggressive approach and policy.
Developments and events in the region over recent years have made it abundantly clear that the Americans and the Israelis are working intensively to implement the Zionist project, which targets all the countries of the region under the banner of 'reshaping the Middle East' and establishing 'Greater Israel.' This project clearly and openly extends to the Arabian Peninsula, and it is widely known and recognised that it targets large areas of the Peninsula, along with the Levant, Iraq, Egypt, and even parts of Turkey. It targets this entire region, with all its countries and peoples. So what possible benefit is there for some regimes in these countries to cooperate with an enemy that openly targets even their own states, as evident in its official statements, even from Netanyahu himself and from American officials?
Therefore, the losers—and it is a tremendous loss—are those from within our Ummah who serve the Zionist scheme in every way: militarily, politically, financially, and through intelligence, cultural, and educational support. They direct every activity and every policy to serve it—only for it, in the end, to turn against them.
By contrast, those who make sacrifices while confronting the Israeli enemy are making sacrifices in their proper place, taking the just, honourable, and necessary stance. It is a necessary stance for this Ummah in every respect: for its dignity, its Islamic identity, its legitimate rights, and its future in this world and the next.
The same cannot be said of those who fully commit themselves to supporting the Americans and the Israelis in every form, including militarily and through intelligence. The Americans and the Israelis are working together to implement a Zionist scheme that clearly targets this entire region and all its peoples. They first want to remove those they see as real obstacles so that they can proceed with confidence that no difficulty will be faced from the rest, since they no longer possess strength, dignity, or steadfastness. They have opened everything to the American and Israeli enemy. It has penetrated them at every level. They have tamed their own peoples, their armies, and their institutions for its benefit, and have become easy prey. For now, their role is to be exploited, and once that role is exhausted, they are to be consumed—just as Trump himself used to describe Saudi Arabia as a milch cow, milked until its udder runs dry and then slaughtered. That was the way he put it—though in English—and so their loss is immense.
On our part, with regard to the US-Saudi coalition of aggression, we were extremely keen to de-escalate. We were also careful to focus our military efforts on the highest priority: direct confrontation with the enemies of the Ummah— confronting their Zionist scheme that targets it in its entirety. Direct confrontation remains a key course of action for us. For this reason, we entered into direct support for Gaza as a Yemeni people—the state and the public alike. Our position remains firm in support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause; and likewise with regard to the axis of jihad and resistance in confronting the Zionist scheme, whether through direct confrontation with the Americans or with the Israelis. The sincere stance of our dear people continues along this path.
The Yemeni people, by the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him), are distinguished by the firmness of their faith-based identity. They are a people vibrant in their faith and marked by great awareness. They possess immense awareness that qualifies them for a prominent role in confronting the Zionist danger, for that danger targets them, too, along with all the peoples of this region and the Muslim Ummah as a whole.
We are currently in one of the most important stages for the exposure of the Zionist scheme. It has become evident, as it has been spoken about frequently and openly in recent times. This Zionist scheme is part of the belief system of the Zionist Jews, manifested in their culture, heritage, books, universities, and schools. Moreover, it is the main pillar upon which Israel was built entirely and according to which it continues to act in order to implement it fully. America stands with Israel in this, as the second wing of Zionism—Israel being the first wing and America the second. They also have other allies. From the beginning, Britain played a pivotal role in supporting the Zionist plan. Additionally, there are Western roles. In fact, the Zionist current is broad in the West; hence, there is a serious drive, but within the framework of this scheme.
This is a major, self-evident truth that asserts itself at all levels—in reality, events, policies, and the positions taken by the United States, Israel, and the West. Nevertheless, certain Arab regimes deliberately ignore this truth and attempt to conceal it, even now when this truth is more evident than ever before. The Americans and Israelis are speaking quite openly, directly linking their actions and policies to the Zionist scheme—they are working to implement it and aiming to establish 'Greater Israel'. Official rhetoric and statements confirm this. Yet, some Arab regimes remain blinded, lost, and steeped in misguidance to an extent that is beyond imagination. This matter is of great importance to the Ummah, to its peoples, and even to those very regimes—it is an issue that concerns all the peoples of our Arab and Islamic region
When American officials repeatedly state at every level—from Trump and his ministers and aides to other officials—along with Jewish Israeli officials, that they are working to 'change the Middle East', this means they are targeting every country in this region. We must understand this fact, as it is both self-evident and explicitly stated—they clearly speak about it. Thus, when they make such statements, this means they are targeting us as Yemenis, as well as every Arab and Muslim in this region.
And what does this 'change', at the hands of the Zionist Jews and their Western Zionist supporters, actually look like? It is the kind of change that goes in line with the Zionist scheme: It means erasing the Islamic character of this region, enslaving its peoples, occupying its lands, establishing 'Greater Israel', and treating the people of this region, according to the Jewish beliefs in the Zionist Talmud, as animals rather than as human beings, driven by their deep-seated Zionist hatred toward these peoples.
Thus, they operate on this basis—'Changing the Middle East'. Every day, they openly speak of this goal and their intent to establish 'Greater Israel'. Yet, certain regimes in the region boldly take a hostile and offensive stance against those who are truly confronting this scheme that targets this Ummah as a whole—even at the height of the conflict. For example, when the Israeli enemy carries out its aggression against Gaza, committing severe acts there, these same regimes, through their media outlets and political stances, consistently malign the mujahidin in Gaza. The situation is similar in Lebanon, where there is perpetual criticism and blame directed at Hezbollah, holding them responsible for actions taken by the Israeli enemy, while they are simply defending themselves.
The Israeli enemy is acting according to its openly declared scheme to dominate this region, subjugate its peoples, and occupy their homelands. Yet those who confront this scheme are blamed and rebuked, even when it has already entered the stage of actual implementation through Israeli aggression. This has happened even to the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is facing a brutal and unjust act of aggression that is plain for the whole world to see. Everyone knows that the Americans and the Israelis were the ones who initiated the assault on the Islamic Republic of Iran under the banner of 'Changing the Middle East' and with the aim of removing the greatest obstacle to this aggressive scheme that targets all the peoples of this region. They committed every kind of crime: killing commanders, killing members of the Iranian Muslim people from all sections of society, and destroying infrastructure, residential buildings, public service facilities, and every aspect of life in Iran.
This is war in the American and Israeli manner—unjust, brutal, criminal, savage—targeting everything. It is an unjustified assault that has harmed the economic interests of countries around the world and damaged the security and stability of the entire region. Yet the Americans and the Israelis show no concern for the consequences of this criminal, unjust, wholly unjustifiable aggression, which lacks even the slightest legitimacy. Indeed, they have no concern for the damage it causes to the global economy, nor for the harm it inflicts on the peoples of this region and their security and stability. What matters to them is carrying out their Zionist scheme. They have no problem with committing every kind of crime, harming the economic interests of all the world’s countries, or undermining security and stability in the region and the wider world.
Despite all this, and despite the clear fact that they are doing all of this for the sake of the Zionist scheme, they seek to drag others into the aggression with them in service of a project that is a danger to humanity as a whole and to this region in particular. They are trying to embroil NATO and the European countries in general. They even tried to pull in Australia and China, attempting to draw them into their unjust position. Even so, and most regrettably, some regimes in this region have become entangled in serving them. They have opened their lands and deployed their wealth, media, and political positions in support of the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Then they blame and criticise the Islamic Republic of Iran for exercising its legitimate right to respond to the aggression that targeted it from the American bases in those countries. Thus, they wanted the Iranian people either to surrender or to remain shackled, targeted by the Americans and unable to respond.
They have absolutely no justification or valid grounds whatsoever to take this position—supporting the Americans with money, weapons, land, bases, political and media backing. In doing so, they harm their own peoples and the entire region. The Americans have turned their countries into war zones and made their primary role to be one of protecting American bases and bearing the burdens that come with that, even militarily. They have turned them into ramparts defending the Israeli enemy, even while constantly seeking to embroil them, including in offensive operations, and to drag them into further wars and conflicts.
Therefore, we must be fully aware and clear-sighted about the truth of what is happening: This is an American-Israeli assault aimed at carrying out the Zionist scheme, which targets this entire region. It is an assault directed against all. The human, moral, religious, national, and patriotic responsibility—indeed, responsibility in every respect—is clear: This Ummah as a whole must unite and adopt one same position against the American-Israeli aggression targeting it. Their aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is part of their broader campaign against this Ummah. They keep targeting the Palestinian people, as seen in the West Bank. This is also evident in the continuing aggression against the Gaza Strip. They continue to occupy more than half of it, with killings and the siege continuing, and they persist in violating the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sites in Palestine, tormenting the Palestinian people, and confiscating their right to all of Palestine. In Lebanon, too, the Lebanese people suffer grievous wrong, with their country being continually targeted through injustice and aggression. Yet blame is not directed towards the aggressor—neither by most regimes nor by the Lebanese government and its traitorous foreign minister, who does not work for Lebanon but for his own faction and political camp, which is subservient to Israel and has a deeply shameful record of collaboration with the Israeli enemy. Instead, blame is directed at Hezbollah, and criticism is continually aimed at the resistance.
It is the duty of this Ummah to confront the American-Israeli assault, for it is an assault that targets it in its entirety. This is a religious, humanitarian, moral, national, and patriotic responsibility by every measure, and it serves the common interest of the Ummah. Our responsibility as Muslims is clear:
- {'And all of you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together'}. Is {'the rope of Allah'} to be found in collaborating with the Americans and Israelis in their campaign against this Ummah and their efforts to implement the Zionist scheme—or rather in standing against their injustice, criminality, corruption, transgression, and evil that target everyone?
- {'Cooperate with one another in righteousness and piety'}.
Regarding the great steadfastness of the Iranian people—their cohesion and their continued presence in the public squares, which have frustrated the hopes of the enemies, together with the official position and the great heroic jihadi stance of the Revolutionary Guard, the Iranian army, and all the mujahidin in Iran—this is encouraging for endurance and cooperation among the people of the Ummah. The high effectiveness of the Iranian position—immense in its steadfastness and strength—is a motivating factor, encouraging the Ummah to endure and remain steadfast in hope of victory from Allah, the Almighty. Everyone ought to rally around the Iranians in this position at every level and through every form of support.
The Iranian military position is very strong in its firepower, with missiles and drones penetrating multiple layers of defence—provided by Arab regimes and Western, European, and other international collaborators, as well as American and Israeli systems—and successfully striking their targets, delivering severe blows to the American and Israeli enemy, whether at American bases or Israeli bases in occupied Palestine. For that reason, this great stance—marked by such steadfastness and effectiveness—should encourage the peoples of this Ummah to cooperate and unite in repelling an assault that targets everyone. This would serve the Palestinian cause and the Lebanese people, help halt the continued violation of Syria, and push back the danger facing Egypt, which remains under constant threat, along with Jordan, the Arabian Peninsula, and every country in this region. This is what can ensure that the peoples of this region remain dignified and free. Such cooperation is in everyone’s interest.
As for our position in Yemen, we have made it clear: We are not standing aside. We stand with Islam and with the Islamic Ummah. We pursue a just cause, engaged in jihad for the sake of Allah against the enemies of Islam, the Muslims, and humanity at large. We stand against the Zionists and their Zionist scheme that targets this entire Ummah. We stand against the American-Israeli assault aimed at implementing that Satanic, aggressive Zionist scheme targeting our Ummah.
We, as a Yemeni people, reward loyalty with loyalty. In Yemen’s ordeal, and at the height of the escalation by the coalition of aggression against Yemen, despite the clear injustice inflicted upon us, Iran was the only official actor to stand in solidarity with us, together with the Axis of Resistance more broadly.
We, as a Yemeni Muslim people, are aware of our responsibility, and we cannot accept the Zionist scheme, which targets our Islamic faith, our worldly life, our homelands, our freedom, our dignity, our independence—indeed, everything. It targets this Ummah; it targets Islam, the Quran, and what we hold sacred. We stand for the freedom and dignity of this Ummah, since these are matters of principle that allow no bargaining or political deals.
Accordingly, I declare that we will never hesitate to fulfil our Islamic duty of jihad in the path of Allah (the Almighty) against the ṭaghut of this age: the Zionist Jews and their American arm. Whatever developments in the battle may require military action, we will take that step with full trust in Allah (Glory be to Him) and reliance upon Him, as we did in previous rounds. Our position against America and Israel is clear and explicit, and we harbour no aggressive intentions towards any Muslim country.
We call on all countries of the Islamic world to cooperate and stand together in one united front in order to put an end to Zionist lawlessness and American tyranny aimed at implementing the Zionist scheme that targets this Ummah in its entirety. We are confident that the fruit of steadfastness and endurance—grounded in reliance upon Allah and holding fast to a just cause—is the promised victory, as Allah (the Almighty) says, {'For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers'}.
In conclusion, I address our dear Yemeni people, with their great adherence to truth and their remarkable commitment to their great stance, their path of jihad, and their identity of faith, which the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH&F), bore witness to for them. I call upon you, our dear people, to join the great million-strong demonstrations tomorrow, Friday, Allah willing. This is to reaffirm your steadfastness in holding fast to the rightful stance, your unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and the causes of this Ummah, and your stand against the American-Israeli assault, which seeks to carry out the Zionist scheme and targets the people of this entire Ummah, including through the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which comes within this same context. This is also to reaffirm our support for the wronged Palestinian people and the people of Gaza, especially since the Israeli enemy has not implemented the agreements for which there are guarantors: It has not withdrawn from the Gaza Strip—indeed it still occupies a wide area of it—nor has it stopped its killings, its crimes of siege and torture against the Palestinian people, or its violations there, which extend even to the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
I hope, Allah willing, that the turnout will be great and immense in the Capital, Sana’a, and across the other governorates.
This is part of your steadfastness, part of your jihad, and part of your firmness. It reflects your dignity, your unyielding spirit, and your identity of faith.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
