Congratulatory Statement by the Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on the Appointment of Al-Sayyid Mujtaba Khamenei as the Third Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the Iranian Muslim people, their official institutions, and their mujahid Revolutionary Guard on the appointment of Al-Sayyid Mujtaba Khamenei (May Allah protect him) as the third leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Accomplishing this significant milestone under such exceptional circumstances and through this wise choice reinforces the foundations of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic system. It deals a powerful blow to the tyrants of our time—America and Israel—and brings them profound disappointment. Moreover, it serves as a balm for the deep wound of the Iranian Muslim people and all those in solidarity with them following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution, Imam Ali Khamenei (May Allah be pleased with him).

As we reaffirm our support for, and solidarity with, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian Muslim people in confronting the American and Israeli aggression and tyranny aimed at advancing the Satanic Zionist scheme of 'Changing the Middle East' and establishing 'Greater Israel', we likewise affirm that the Islamic Republic's great steadfastness and effective resistance against aggression and tyranny will lead to victory. For Allah (the Almighty) says in the Holy Quran, {'For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers'}, and He also says, {'O you who have attained faith, if you stand for Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold'}.

The signs of this victory are already evident in the failure of the enemies' objectives behind this aggression and in the losses and blows they have suffered. They are also evident in the steadfastness of the Iranian Muslim people and their loyalty to the Islamic system, in the wise appointment of the third leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic, and in the continued effective leadership within the Islamic system in an organised manner.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant Al-Sayyid Mujtaba Khamenei success by His grace and to protect him. May Allah bestow His victory upon the Iranian Muslim people and their dear mujahidin in the Revolutionary Guard and the valiant army.
