Women of Sana’a Denounce Kidnapping of Samira Marsh

 

Women in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, condemned the kidnapping of Samira Hizam Maresh, a Yemeni woman from al-Jawf province, by the mercenary of aggression, a year and a half ago.

They considered in a protest rally, organized by the Women’s Authority of Ansar Allah, on Monday, in front of the United Nations Office in Sana’a, this heinous act as a crime that contradicts the norms and charters and international humanitarian law.

A statement issued in the rally called for the speedy release of Samira Marsh and returning her to her family, calling on the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen to play a humanitarian rights role on this issue and all cases of violations committed by aggression countries against Yemeni women and children.

The statement condemned the aggression crimes such as the criminal acts to kidnap women, stressing that this act represented in the Yemeni tribal norms as a black defect.

The statement called on all members of the Yemeni tribes to move and pressure the aggression mercenaries to release Samira Marsh and return her home.
