The aggression brings 320 al-Qaeda members to Mareb
The U.S Saudi-led aggression coalition forces brought 320 members of the so-called al-Qaeda organization from the provinces of Abyan, Hadramout and Bayda to Marib city, sources said on Tuesday.
“150 members of al-Qaeda were brought in from Hadramout to Marib, led by Abu Hajar al-Hadrami,” the sources said.
100 ele, ents of al-Qaeda group were brought from Bayda to the city of Mareb, led by Ahmed Abad al-Khabzi, while 70 members of al-Qaeda were brought from Abyan to Marib, led by al-Marfadi, it added.
The coalition’s reliance on the elements of the so-called ISIS and al-Qaeda is not new this time, as it relied on them for five years in the most battles, the sources explained, referring to previous international and local reports on the participation of al-Qaeda elements with the coalition soldiers in the fight against the Yemeni army and the popular committees.
These steps come after the overwhelming loss of the coalition and its mercenaries on Nehm front, where the army and the popular committees were managed to clear Nehm district fully and free large parts of Mareb and Jawf provinces, reaching the outskirts of Mareb city.
