Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Expatriate , and Human and Legal Rights organized a speech event on the occasion of National Resistance Day.
At the event, Vice Prime Minister for defense and security Affairs , Lt. Gen. Jalal Alrwashan clarifies that facing the Aggression was the right and great option of Yemeni people resulted in many victories which shocked the world.
He noted that the celebration of this anniversary coincides associated with the martyrdom Memorial of the first building rocks founder of the Journey who rejected the hegemony and arrogance forces , Mr. Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
He praised the control of the Military , public committees and volunteers in the front lines who deserve the thank to them, after God, for achieving more victories and the persistence of steadfastness and Resistance.
Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah said, “We celebrate the National Resistance Day and five years of mythical resistance has
passed in the face of Aggression and its mercenaries who conspired against Yemen and its gains and capabilities for few money.”
Minister Sharaf pointed out that the aggression coalition thought that the war on Yemen would take weeks or months and that Yemen and Yemenis would be a small bite, but its thoughts were totally wrong , and they did not learn of reading Yemen’s history, and what happened in the Ottomans, the English and others who tried to occupy and control Yemen.
Foreign Minister reiterated his call to the other party for peace. “As a peace-making hand, in return, we are sticking to the Weapon’s trigger to protect homeland from the new occupiers and those who are waiting to seize the opportunity to obtain Yemen and its sources throughout the ages and times,” he said.
Al-Mahkari indicated that the Aggression that Yemen experienced and witnessed in all aspects of life reflects the hatred extent hidden by the countries of aggression against Yemen, its history, civilizations and particularly its important strategic location.
While the Expatriate Minister , Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Mashjri, mentioned the damage caused to expatriates in their work and capitals due to the war and the blockade, especially the Yemeni expatriates in the Arab countries, some of whom were forced to migrate to another place as a result of war .
For her part, the Minister of Human Rights, Radhia Abdullah, reviewed the crimes committed by the aggression coalition, which have reflected the brutality of the Aggression against humanity over five years by killing and destruction before a flawed international silence regarding this.
The event was attended by the presence of the leaders of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Legal, Expatriate Affairs and Human Rights, and poems and a documentary film have been shown on the brutal crimes of aggression against civilians and the destruction of vital installations and public facilities.
