Yemeni air defenses intercept Saudi warplanes away of Sana’a airspace
Yemen’s army air defenses today Sunday intercepted a combat formation of several warplanes of the US-Saudi aggression over airspace and surroundings of the capital Sanaa.
“Our air defenses managed to confront a combat formation consisting of a number of enemy warplanes over the airspace and surroundings of the capital Sanaa, using the Fater-1 surface-to-air missile defense system, forcing them to leave without carrying out any attack,” Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier Yahya Sare’e, said.
In the past few days, the air defenses have intercepted several combat formations of hostile warplanes over the skies of Marib and Jawf provinces, using the Fater -1 defense system and forced them to leave the skies without achieving their objectives.
Earlier, Brigadier General Sare’e said that the Armed Forces are continuing to confront all attempts by the enemies until they reach full protection of the Yemeni airspace.
