Awareness campaign and sterilization of meat markets in Hodeidah

The General Foundation for Slaughterhouses and Meat Markets, in al-Hodeidah, launched an awareness-raising and sterilization campaign in the central meat markets in the context of precautionary measures to confront the Coronavirus.

The Acting Governor of Hodeidah, Mohammed Ayyash Quhaim, stressed the importance of everyone’s cooperation in implementing the precautionary measures issued by the Higher Ministerial Committee for Combating Epidemics in facing the Corona pandemic and preventing its entry into Yemen.

He also praised the keenness of the Foundation’s branch and its contribution to the implementation of proactive measures to counter the emerging Coronavirus “Covid_19”.

He stressed the need to follow instructions and adhere to general hygiene requirements, pointing to the importance of providing sterilizers and disinfectants in places of selling meat and using gloves and medical masks to contribute to supporting preventive measures against the Coronavirus.
