Closing of a workshop in Sana’a to establish the infection control team in government and private hospitals

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil emphasized the importance of citizens’ commitment to precautionary measures to prevent emerging Coronavirus.

Minister Al-Mutawakkil said at the conclusion ceremony of a training workshop to establish the infection control team in government and private hospitals to confront the emerging Coronavirus, today, “if the citizen does not commit to hygiene, prevention, and infection control, many diseases will expanding, not only the Coronavirus.”

He urged public and private hospitals to adhere to infection control methods and to devote special departments to treat and treat the Coronavirus.

The Minister of Health praised the efforts of the workshop operators and the steadfastness of the medical staff that represents the safety valve during the current stage.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Director of the National Infection Prevention Program Dr. Muhammad Al-Dawla and Director of Disease Control and Surveillance Dr. Khaled Al-Moayad.
